There’s more good than bad in MLB 2K9. While the experience has been brought down to a certain level of easiness, there’s still a lot of things that make the game frustrating and tiresome. MLB 2K9 is a great improvement over last years’ game and made me want to spend a few quality hours on it. Sadly, making a “baseball game for dummies” won’t make the games better if they keep changing the recipe and trying come up with ways to be the big boy in town…I think this is what hurts the game the most.- GameFocus

While far from the best entry in the Buzz series, Master Quiz is an easy game to recommend. It’s fast, fun, full of excellent questions (and lots of ’em) and has a great all around feel. Lots of game modes keep the basic "answer a question for points" formula fresh throughout, and with medals, trophies and actual progression it actually feels like more than a shallow game show.- GameFocus

The initial impressions of Section 8 will not be positive for many due to the slightly odd setup system, fairly complex character customization system, muddy controls and bland single player campaign. It is a bit odd that Reflex was released two years after the fact. With so many people already playing Modern Warfare 2, it probably would have been beneficial to simply do a Wii edition of that rather than bringing back the first. Once you get past the controls, you will be pleasantly surprised as to how well the game has transitioned to the Wii. If you missed out the first time around or have a strong love of the original, you should definitely give it a try.- GameFocus

It might not offer anything original to the genre, it doesn’t alienate its audience by appealing to only one specific type of player. Those looking to play something that re-captures the great era of 16-bit gaming, this is what you need.- GameFocus

Overall, Flock will draw players in with its cutesy and whimsical world. It’s definitely not for everyone, but if you liked the idea of building your own levels in LittleBigPlanet and the adorable world of The Maw, you’ll enjoy the marriage of the two here. But at $14.99, it might seem a little pricey for a downloadable title.- GameFocus

The single player game is well done and the co-op/multiplayer game is a nice treat in this age of pointless multiplayer action experiences we are bombarded with on an almost daily basis. But in the long run this game is not one I can see playing for more than a couple of weeks until the next game comes out that will keep my attention for a longer period of time. I have to say this is only a buy if you must; it actually is more of a rental.- GameFocus

Penumbra: Requiem is a genuinely spooky game and this is mostly due to the excellent sound effects and so if you enjoy being scared this is a great game for that, and with the budget price the game is worthy buying for most adventure game fans.- GameFocus

The action and intensity of the real experience is definitely replicated in this title. While that's a good thing for die-hard workout nuts, Zumba Fitness Core lacks a certain ease of entry for people looking for an alternative to gym memberships or classes.- GameFocus
