The strongest aspects of Divinity II are the excellent story, so long as you are willing to dig it out, and the incredibly open-ended character skills customization. While this game certainly has its flaws, the pros far outweigh the cons, and it is a game that cannot be sipped but must be gulped or possibly even quaffed!- GameFocus

If it wasn’t for the card system, the game would’ve rocked even more for us while experienced Bleach connoisseurs will find the perfect system to use them. This is more of an open, sandbox game with no consequences for doing things your way. Regardless of the length of time you play each session, you’ll find yourself pulled back to the game as soon as you switch to something else. While this is not Insomniac’s best work, in fact it almost seems they slept their way through some of the development, if you only own a PS3 (and no other consoles or a PC) this is a great game to play and own, but if you play on other systems you may not as impressed. The single player campaign feels very off at times and not fun, the multiplayer is fun in you enjoyed the original and if you like co-operative games, the co-op campaign is excellent and worth checking out. Resistance 2 is good though and worth a single play through and a few times on the co-op but I expected so much more of it.- GameFocus

While the game is solid, it does feel weird to be "on fire" and hear BOOM-SHAKALAKA without thinking about the original NBA Jam. While this game is very insane at times with an ‘on and off again’ difficulty which humbled my poor old fingers at the best of times, it is very addictive and fun. Part of what has made Fire Emblem such a beloved series is the emotional attachment the player makes to the characters, and unfortunately, this is largely missing in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. Platinum is a fun game to play but I seriously doubt it will win back those who left the series a long time ago. The original Puzzle Quest set the bar so high for Galactrix it is almost unfair to compare the two but in the end you must.
