The visuals and sound carry the anime style to near perfection and the gameplay, while lacking originality, has lots of kick, even though online battles suffer from lag problems.

Some of the games aren't so hot, and the loading is too long. Plus, the decision that forces players to earn unlockable goodies via chance isn't cool at all. Nevertheless, Reloaded earns merit for many of its games, which are perfectly emulated.

Its lack of multiplayer (dog fighting could have been sweet) and small hiccups in gameplay and presentation keep it from greatness. On the flip side, does it deserve the relentless beating it's taken from the press? No. It's still a fun science-fiction thrill ride, one worth taking for the sights, sounds and entertaining combat.

The artificial intelligence becomes a little questionable at times, requiring some extra babysitting to keep teammates alive, but players willing to deal with these quirks will definitely find some extremely challenging gameplay in line with the GRAW tradition.

The way the story and relationships change depending on your choices will keep you hooked, and warrants at least two play-throughs to see what might have been. However, just be aware that you'll have to put up with some problems.

Mindlessly shaking the remote gets old and the easy missions pose little challenge, but the storybook presentation, well-animated cut scenes and wealth of hidden items make Sonic and the Black Knight worth a rental.

What other video game could provide a "Sexy Party" mini-event, an oversexed neighbor finding joy from a laser, or the almighty Peter Griffin pummeling all comers, including women and children?

While not a deep or especially polished adventure, it'll keep you entertained for a weekend.

The new morality system isn't as effective as we had hoped. There are times when you'll make a choice, such as killing a precious white tiger or calling upon a young boy to help you in a firefight. No matter what your decision, they usually end up costing you.

With the superior Burnout Paradise still making the rounds, Undercover won't rev everyone's engine. If you liked Most Wanted or the Hot Pursuit games, however, you'll want to climb behind this wheel.

The glorious presentation includes realistic animations, arenas that resemble their real-life counterparts and impressive audio commentary from Dick Vitale ("It's awesome, bay-bee!"), Brad Nessler and Erin Andrews.

The battle system wears thin quicker than expected and the story comes across as a little flimsy, especially when compared to more current Final Fantasy games. Nevertheless, it offers hours of enjoyment.

The on-screen action is a little too bewildering at times and the song offerings aren't nearly as plentiful as other DDR games. However, for its primary audience, Disney Channel Remix serves its purpose, with lots of arrow stepping and various modes to choose from.

Artificial intelligence problems are present throughout, with squad mates continuously running in the line of fire. Furthermore, the promising co-op mode isn't available online, only locally through cramped split-screen.

The presentation and gameplay hold true to the MK standards, and the ability to track wins and losses is a nice addition, if you feel like boasting about your fighting skills.

SNK faithfully restored each game, and while the lack of extras hurts, we wholeheartedly recommend it.

Hardcore hockey fans might find NHL Arcade too simple, with its lack of official teams, arenas or any kind of tournament mode. However, it's loads of fun against friends, online or off.

Darkside Chronicles has plenty of teeth-gnashing moments, both out of fear and frustration from missing your shots. However, it's well constructed and fun to play with a friend. If you're tired of Extraction and House of the Dead: Overkill and need fresh meat to blast through, put this at the top of your list. Otherwise, stick with Resident Evil 4.

The too short campaigns, coupled with the average multiplayer makes it the type of game that you'll play for about a week, sell and then forget about. Had Rebellion tweaked the A.I., added much-needed extras and fleshed out each character's story (with different scenery), this could have been the greatest AVP of all time. For now, we'll have to settle for it being superior to the lackluster films.

It is far from perfect, but if gamers need some tactical action away from their living rooms, GRAW 2 definitely satisfies.

To the disappointment of many, TMNT does not offer any multiplayer features, so turtles cannot spar against each other or fight cooperatively with everyone on screen at once. Instead, it seems intent on rushing players through, with replay value coming from going over old missions for better scores -- hardly a compelling incentive, and one that will lead most players to let this one disappear back into the sewers.

The multiplayer mode feels tacked on. Rather than come up with new and innovative stuff, EA offers the following game types: Team Deathmatch (highest score wins), Team Deathmatch Airborne (slightly better, with the Allies parachuting in on the Axis team) and Objective Airborne (essentially Capture the Flag).

While not a deep or especially polished adventure, it'll keep you entertained for a weekend.

The graphics and sound are great, and the numerous challenges and arena modes offer some diversity. If you're up for a quick hack-and-slash game, rent it. If you want a game with depth, however, this Axe needs sharpening.

The gameplay is sometimes clunky, and there's not much replay value, save for a couple of additional modes like Points Count and one-hit kill Golden Bullets. However, with its slick presentation and blood-spilling carnage, Wet is a fun action romp.

Multiplayer isn't bad, but it lacks depth, so while Quantum provides some exciting moments, its developers failed to catapult it to greatness.

Graphic flaws aside, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 serves up an adequate game of golf. The course selection, respectable number of modes and solid game play make it worth a rental.

Skate It won't appeal to everyone, but it's as close to skateboarding as you can get without falling off the real thing and scraping your knees.
