Diamond Digger Saga features good game mechanics that Candy Crush fans will love, no doubt about it.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 can be an enjoyable FPS game, but unfortunately the very good shooting sensations are not enough to ignore all the flaws, AI problems and glitches of the game.

Virginia is between a movie and video game, and it's not totally one or the other. It offers nice music and a good atmosphere, but not enough gameplay or interactions.

If you already both games of this compilation, it's not exactly worth it, as it is mainly Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night in their PSP versions - without the 2.5 version of the first one. But if you've never played those, it's a pleasant, but not very joyful, way to discover them.

Apache : Air Assault is for a niche audience. So if you're not a chopper fan, don't even consider it. If you are, but a little, then Apache will offer you some nice sensations. Too bad its interface is so basic, its staging non-existent, and its solo campaign lacking diversity in the missions, because Apache would have been a real benchmark, with a position to appeal to a larger audience.

Family Tennis 3D lacks polishing and too many core features to be worthy of its models, but it's been inspired just enough to offer a gameplay full of fun, carried by a cute design.

Just as the name says, Stick Tennis perfectly sticks to its motto "easy to play, hard to master". Hence the gameplay is cleverly adapted to the touch interface, but its depth is limited by the lack of control over the movement.

GRID: Legends is a good arcade racer, but it doesn't offer enough new stuff from the 2019 GRID game, making it quite a dispensable game. The comeback of drifting is cool, but the story mode is quite lame, and most of the content seems just to have been ported from the 2019 opus.

Warframe is a good free-to-play TPS, but the action is too repetitive to make it an essential.

Dustforce is an elegant and demanding platformer experience for time-attack fans. You'll have to spend a while mastering the controls, especially when playing with a keyboard rather than a gamepad.

Blanc is not one best co-op games on the market, but it's a pleasant adventure which skillfully mixes the story, gameplay and cooperative mechanics. Despite readability and very simple puzzles that repeat themselves, this first game from Casus Ludi is a nice catch to spend a relaxing evening.

Undoubtedly better than Resident Evil 5, this new episode of one of the greatest series will have trouble uniting people around its proposal. It is indeed very generous in terms of content, of story development, of its variety of sequences, but its still very action-focused atmosphere and clear shortcomings as a TPS make it feel dated and rigid, even though less than RE5. There's some good stuff in there, that's for sure, but also some poor choices as well.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is not a bad experience, but it will for sure divide the fans. It seems like the studio had several good ideas, but that once assembled they did not make a good Final Fantasy game. This episode tried to convince the players by offering an open world and a certain freedom of action, but it fails in terms of storytelling. And technically, Lightning Returns just doesn't reach the level fans of Final Fantasy expect from the series.

Almost alone on his playing field, Madden NFL 13 can take its time to make progress. Nevertheless, EA switched to the new Infinity Engine for the better, in terms of contacts, animations, and the like, even though visually, the game isn't looking any better than the previous one. The content is there, but there still is some bugs (sometimes funny ones), and it doesn't quite stand up to other sports simulations that may or may not have competition to overcome.

Yes, Alpha Protocol is quite ugly and poorly animated. It also suffers from some gameplay mechanics oddities. But even with its repulsive looks, it managed to hook me in through several play-throughs, thanks to a decent story, carefully written dialog with finesse and humor, and this strong sense of actually influencing the destiny of my character as well as those of the ones around him. The espionage atmosphere, with its conspiracies and modern touch, is well rendered, and if you're a customer for an RPG with a contemporary setting, with a Mass Effect inspired game design, you may very well enjoy it as much as I did. One can't help but dream at what Alpha Protocol could have been, helmed by a team with more resources to address its shortcomings.

Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha compiles six good to dispensables shoot'em up on a single Switch cartridge, giving curious players enough content to chains scores and playthrough. But despite some interesting scrolling options, the game lacks the most obvious features it needed to really please every fan of the genre.

The premise of Linn: Path of Orchards is simple: bounce across a series of moving platforms in order to reach the exit. Entirely playable on the Switch touchscreen, the gameplay lacks of precision sometimes and the overall experience seems a bit short as we can rush through the game in just a couple of hours. However, the optional objectives are quite challenging.

Aliens: Infestation is a nice little game that can really appeal to the lovers of the alien saga, thanks to its nice production, neat atmosphere and Metroid-like gameplay. It still rather short and repetitive, with a little lack of ambition.

The absence of online mode can be considered as a lack of ambition, but rather proves a wise omission, since Tank Troopers follows a straightforward approach, tactically sound for close range combat, aiming more at efficiency than originality.

Picross e2 on the 3DS is still a brilliant game, but doesn't really push the envelope whatsoever, and still charges a price that seems a little high compared to other good puzzles games on several devices.

Hybrid can scare at the beginning, but with time and practice, one does start to really enjoy it and its aerial feeling. Nevertheless, don't expect to sink many hours in it. It lacks content, and the combat system remains odd enough for many not to like it.

Plagued by small but numerous issues, Enslaved still has a lot to offer... but maybe not for the full price of a new game. If you let yourself be charmed by its lush world and its well portrayed characters, you may tolerate its flaws in order to follow its narrative, and the various sequences. They are mostly enjoyable despite some loose gameplay mechanics. But for others, the frame rate issues, the terrible ending, and the lack of polish will obfuscate the qualities of the game. Once again, it seems Ninja Theory focused too much on the form and less on the substance.

With Undounded, Ridge Racer gets closer to games like Burnout, Blur, or Split Second. It's more accessible, and more aggressive, with a very nice tracks editor and nice multiplayer. Too bad its production values aren't on par with the genre champions, and traditional Ridge Racer fans will probably disappointed by this new orientation.

Very disappointing in single player, Blur reveals its charm in multiplayer. Playing with friends, striking at each other, and going all-out on them is where the fun's at ! It can prove to be strategic, despite its arcade-style driving style, thanks to the Power Up tactical side that can change the outcome of any race dramatically. So to sum it up, Blur is a very good game in multiplayer, ideal for competition behind the wheel of realistic rides with added power-up benefits, but be warned: in solo play, boredom prevails.

Technically outdated on a aging Wii console, The Last Story ends up being quite linear... and too short. Online games and the New Game + feature won't really make up for it, despite the artificial extension of its life span. Hopefully, the voice acting is good, and combat is quite satisfying. And there's always this Sakaguchi's touch... which is always nice to have... The last game of the genre on the Wii?
