NaissanceE is an intriguing game which mixes a fascinating atmosphere with platform and puzzle gameplay. It's a shame those checkpoints, too rare or misplaced, make you want to stop playing despite your really wanting to see the end.- Gameblog.fr

Ghost Recon Shadow Wars will not charm you at first glance because of its poor graphics and not-so-impressive 3D effect... But the first missions will be enough to really drag you into this very nice tactical game for hours. Despite a limited AI, the game offers a simple but solid gameplay, quite varied situations, and a consistent campaign (about 25-30 hours long). A very pleasant surprise in this 3DS launch line-up.- Gameblog.fr

Bundled with a story and a special version adapted to the Mushroom Kingdom's universe, Puzzle & Dragons was meant to extend its success on the 3DS. But its main evolution is the change of economic model, the removal of micropayment revealing somehow paradoxically the true nature of PAD: a slot machine disguised as a puzzle game mixed with RPG. Although manipulating orbs and collecting monsters are still captivating activities, the artificial, if not arbitrary aspect of the gameplay empties Puzzle & Dragons Z of a real interest.- Gameblog.fr

While venturing away from survival horror, Mighty Rocket Studio follows the rules of the side-scrollers assiduously, but lacks some imagination to really succeed in Final Exam, at least as a solitary test. Indeed as a collegial experience, this teen movie massacre gets much more interesting, since the gameplay delivers its full power through teamwork.- Gameblog.fr

This is a game targeting the younger ones. Easy to play, those new olympic trials include football, cycling, badminton, beach volley, kayaking, and horse riding. Globally, they are well implemented, and there's the "dream challenges", which offer a new take on some classic sports through action, racing and platforming levels to boost the content. It's perfect for a birthday with chocolate cake, fun and accessible, but that's if you haven't reached puberty yet.- Gameblog.fr

Zoo Tycoon is making a nice return on Xbox One, even if it is difficult to define its identity, between light management features and Kinect interactions, which are certainly adorable, but lack of interest in the long term.- Gameblog.fr

One starts playing Gotham City Impostors without a lot of enthusiasm, but slowly gets into the brutal and fast-paced gameplay, and this deliciously kitsch atmosphere. But, in the long run, it's hard not to become bored with it.- Gameblog.fr

It's too little, too late. With fierce competition to hinder its efforts, Medal of Honor fails to provide, both in terms of quantity and quality, an alternative of choice. It's still an above average experience, but the campaign remains stuck between the realism angle and the needed fireworks of the genre, unable to impress on either one of them, while the multiplayer sacrifices deepness and precision in order to remain more accessible and bridge the imaginary gap between Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare. No co-op, too few maps, a globally poorly designed from a gameplay and tactics standpoint, stuck on top of an otherwise good game design ; too bad.- Gameblog.fr

Pretty, easy-to-play, content-rich, and often funny, LEGO Star Wars III has every trait of a good little game. Nothing out of the ordinary, though, but its concept works, and the variety of the action (mixing platforming and space combat) is refreshing. Its numerous levels deliver a good show in 3D, too bad its frame rate isn't always beyond reproach, that some effects seem to induce visual discomfort, and above all, that the franchise doesn't take much risks to surprise us.- Gameblog.fr

It's hard to know on which foot to dance with Atlas Fallen. The title of Deck13 brings very good ideas, but either it does not go to the end, or it sins in the execution. After an exhilarating boss fight, you can find yourself loading a game because of a huge bug or struggling on the next confrontation because of imprecise targeting. Getting around in the open areas is nice, but there's so little of interest to see that it's frustrating. Finally, to have a great time on Atlas Fallen, it's not all up to you. All the planets must be aligned and the many pitfalls of the game must not immediately bring you back into quicksand. And that's far too rare.- Gameblog.fr

Apart from a few new features ("Owner" mode and body feints), the new Madden NFL 25 is very similar to previous episodes, it has very little surprise for its fans and this next-gen version adds nothing to the experience.- Gameblog.fr

Don't hope for the same game you can can encounter on PS4 or Xbox One. The Switch version of FIFA 18 is a pleasant but a bit dated one that, despite some embarrassing flaws (keepers, especially), has to be considered as an excellent choice for a handeld experience, single or with a friend.- Gameblog.fr

We'd have loved to have some finesse in the driving, or more subtle tracks, but it's not the case. NFS the Run on the 3DS is an arcade racing game in which you just drive straight. It still offers a nice speed feeling, numerous challenges and and nice solo adventure, but its gameplay is too rough. If it's a real racing game you're looking for, that's not it.- Gameblog.fr

Immortals of Aveum, by virtue of its story, has obvious appeal. It's the game of a lifetime for a developer who knows what he's talking about, the raison d'ĂȘtre of a brand new studio, an independent AAA that isn't really one... For the gamer, it's a very edgy FPS that's off the beaten track while still offering a familiar feel. Ascend Studio's title makes for a great time if you put aside its obvious technical problems, which unfortunately do it a bit of a disservice. But the fact remains that Immortals of Aveum has a lot going for it. There's a rich universe to discover, a whole world to explore, and some nerve-wracking if slightly chaotic combat... It's a shame that the technical side isn't always up to scratch on the PS5, because this would be a more than solid magical FPS, but as it stands it's sorely lacking in polish. But that doesn't mean it's a failure, just a date that could have gone a little better, but that we enjoyed nonetheless.- Gameblog.fr

Tekken 6 in your pocket, that's the offer of this Tekken 3D Prime Edition. It's pretty, fast, and playable, and quite impressive from a technical standpoint. Too bad the content doesn't follow so much, with few game modes and an online mode that can be really laggy at times.- Gameblog.fr

If Pang : Magical Michael doesn't renew enough the appeal of the original franchise for the gamers who already know it, it doesn't come out diminished of this redesign either. A proof that its formula can endure the test of time. Perfect for short sessions in between subway stations : it fits the bill !- Gameblog.fr

Compared to most other licensed games out there, Toy Story 3 doesn't have to feel ashamed. Quite the opposite in fact. Indeed it is not technically beyond reproach, most notably because of a few frame rate issues when playing with a friend, but overall the formula holds its ground OK. The two main modes of gameplay complete each other nicely, and even though it's supposed to target kids, most adult gamers could very well be surprised. It's rich enough and well designed, and even though it has some gameplay flaws as well, it's still a decent adaptation of the movie : something not so common after all.- Gameblog.fr

Despite an inevitably cramped interface, RPG Maker Fes is still a solid, yet demanding game creation software, all the more so without a proper - if not fun - tutorial. But neither portability nor simple online sharing system can make up for such restrictions concerning tools and content. These tend to limit, or even format the end results. Considering the time they require and the DLC policy, it would be wiser to invest in the massively more elaborate PC version.- Gameblog.fr

Disney Infinity is a Skylanders-like which adds a nice extra creative dimension through the "Toy Box". Unfortunately, we have to spend a lot of time in a not so exciting adventure mode to fill this toy box with interesting things... and of course buy a lot of figures and Power Discs in a real toy store!- Gameblog.fr
