This new version adds new graphics in 1080p / 60fps and all the DLC content in one place, but Resident Evil 5 is still the same... and it's not what we expect from a Resident Evil game.

LEGO 2K Drive had crazy potential, and we still believe in it, but this first episode doesn't fully express it yet. The game is beautiful, lively and fun to play even if the circuits are disappointed. But one of the biggest flaw comes from the microtransactions. A promising start.

Alma used to give you nightmares with the previous episodes? That won't be the case here. Action is predominant, and serves well for nice gunfights, let's make that clear. But with production values that are below our usual tastes, levels that are too linear and an atmosphere that is more bloody than frightening, there's disappointment to be had. F.3.A.R is but another FPS that has trouble differentiating itself from the crowd.

Going East increases tenfold the lifespan of Euro Truck Simulator 2 with many new cities and new interesting tracks, but the inherent flaws in the game have not been corrected.

This console version of the Sims 3 will be able to satisfy fans of the series and will more importantly allow console gamers to enjoy the thrill of creation and divine impartiality thanks to the addition of the Karma. If the added exchangeable contents and new features work, we sill regret that only the Wii version of the game has real exclusive original content (multiplayer, ability to live on a houseboat...) on top of better ergonomics thanks to the Wiimote.

Windbound is a survival game with rogue lite components. If the game has good ideas and design, the controls lacks of ergonomy, and the game is quite repetitive.

This new edition of Mario & Sonic is not so different from the previous one, it doesn't take advantage of the Gamepad so much and the online mode is unexploited. The game is still fun to play in family at home though, but we would have expected much more from it.

With only one action sequence and not a single challenging puzzle in sight, The Enemy Within Episode 4 is clearly not the most intense Telltale episode ever made. But its portrayal of the Joker manages to make this second to last episode interesting.

LEGO The Hobbit is a good game to play with your kids, but some of the new ideas implemented in the formula are quite annoying, and it's sometimes hard to understand what the game expects you to do. This is still quite a nice adaptation of the 2 first movies of the trilogy.

With "Fractured Mask," Telltale Games offers a satisfying third episode. Bruce "Batman" Wayne has a lot on his plate and it's getting harder and harder for him to please everybody without blowing his cover and revealing his secret identity. Unfortunately for non-English speakers, the game wouldn't start with French subtitles enabled.

A poorly made port of two titles among which the second one reached near-cult status. Still something to be experience, for sure, but it could have really been much better remastered.

This new Transformers Game may look like your typical third person shooter, but it still is a love letter to the original animated series, just refreshed a little bit to try and attract newcomers.

Costume Quest makes it clear that Double Fine may not be used to developing games for the little ones : the humor and gameplay seem shy. It dares, but not too much. If you have a 10 years old kid wandering next to your game console, Costume Quest would probably be a better fit for him than GTA IV. That said, when I was that young, I was playing Ultima II.

NBA 2K21 gives us the same observation as that established a year earlier with NBA 2K20: that of stagnating within the saga, without any real major improvement. But this time, the few bets attempted by the development studio have the main consequence of serving the game, at least in its first approaches and making it even a little less accessible to the general public. A quality episode certainly, despite its flaws, but not up to expectations. We could expect better for a transition to the new generation of consoles.

The Amazing Spider-Man isn't a great title: everything it copies from Batman Arkham City, it does it with less skill. But despite that, the feeling of freedom inside Manhattan will please Spidey fans, even though the story itself remains quite weak.

If you own a next-gen console and are willing to play FIFA 21, you don't need to hesitate as it is a beautiful and vibrant version of the game... But really similar to the one available on PS4 and Xbox One, not very well balanced on the pitch.

You do know Running-Games. It's as simple as hell : a character continually running forward, and your reflexes only to prevent him from falling into traps, holes, or any hasard coming his way. Temple Run is one of them, with an Indiana Jones take. It's a good and thrilling one, and it's still free with in-app purchases, so go get it!

What is Skelattack? A charming game with good platformer bits that doesn't manage to be convincing when it's about action or surprise in the exploration department. Still, it's a pleasant game for the time you play it, but don't expect it to be memorable.

Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 is indeed an enhanced version of the previous one, but it still holds the same shortcomings. Two in particular are particularly displeasing : no way to personally manage your mana, and no way to create your own decks with the cards of this edition. It still is an affordable and fun way to start playing Magic : The Gathering, or to enjoy casually a game or two once in a while against human players through the internet, despite its limited card collection and the two aforementioned flaws.

State of Decay 2 is an interesting "post zombie apocalypse life simulator" that forces the player to manage every aspect of a survivor's life. It's too bad that its story isn't very interesting. And what to say about those bugs: there are just so many of them... With better production values, State of Decay could have been a truly special game.

It's kind of hard to advise playing those games today, even though their HD remastering is well-executed. But for gamers who do not mind the visual gap with today's productions, nor the slightly more rigid gameplay of the older games, it's a very nice way to discover the origins of the legendary beat'em all saga.
