Unless they have developed a sudden passion for the hardcore action RPG genre, PC gamers who were not customers of last year edition will not suddenly fall in love with this one. As for Xbox 360 gamers, they can probably consider giving it a chance, now that he does have frame-rate problems anymore and offers nice reworked graphics. Finally, the fans will be delighted for sure by this new, very long campaign.- Gameblog.fr

Tembo is fun, for sure. Fast, addictive, the gameplay is dynamic and powerful. Unfortunately, there are often too many obstacles that slow the pace of the game, and it's quite a shame.- Gameblog.fr

Not many innovations compared to last year's editions. Madden NFL 12 still remains a good simulation with most of what the sports' fans are looking for. With a better implementation of impacts with improved animations and prettier graphics, this version is an honest update of the license, without prompting '11 owners for a necessary purchase. Only beginners will appreciate the Gameflow feature, which improves the accessibility of the game.- Gameblog.fr

Dragon Age II is blessed with a deep universe and a ton of content, but it's sadly undermined by its technical side. Even though, visually, the game goes beyond the original, it still forgoes some elements of its predecessor in order to become more action-oriented, which is a choice that will most probably keep dividing opinions. We'd have hoped to see this sequel install the franchise as a must-have by correcting the shortcomings of the original. Instead, we'll have to make-do with finding it most entertaining indeed, but without any added praise. Too bad.- Gameblog.fr

Good ol' Crazy Taxi on iOS is based on the original Dreamcast version, complete with the music tracks, Arcade, Original and Crazy Bos modes, and new Game Center features. The touch controls work rather well, even though they are less efficient than your classic controller. Overall, the experience is quite compelling nonetheless.- Gameblog.fr

Harmony of Despair leaves a weird taste in the mouth of a Castlevania fan. It's like a patchwork of gameplays that weren't really supposed to be sewed together for multiplayer, yet that kinda stands upright without us really knowing how. But after hours spent discovering it's "only" 6 castles, all that remains is some tribute Time Attack coop game that isn't quite what we'd have hoped for a Castlevania multiplayer experience.- Gameblog.fr

Tour de France 2017 is an updated version that is slightly improved from the previous game. The game has too many technical issues to be highly recommended for a wide audience.- Gameblog.fr

When compared to everything you can play in the FPS genre nowadays, Conduit 2's worth doesn't amount to much. But if you only have a Wii to play on, and are looking for some game of the genre, it still has some qualities, starting with its fairly comprehensive multiplayer. The campaign does its job, albeit barely, and its visual disparity still doesn't exclude some technical prowess. All in all, the overall is a little above average for gamers who are 100% on the Wii... but still well beneath the rest of the experiences you can find on other platforms.- Gameblog.fr

Sold at quite a reasonable price, Sorcery is a very nice little game for kids, with nice music melodies, pretty environments, and fun gameplay mechanics. The PS Move still remains somewhat imprecise sometimes (even though the game does most of the targetting for you), but the most important shortcoming of the game is probably its lack of variety.- Gameblog.fr

DBZ Tenkaichi Tag Team won't surprise anyone, but it has mastered its subject nonetheless. With a lighter but comprehensive Story Mode, punchy combat, and its news 4 player combat mode, it's a game perfectly suited for the PSP. However, it's still undergoing the fact that the franchise is running a little out of breath, given that it has spawned so very many games before it.- Gameblog.fr

Homefront is a classic first-person shooter, of which you could say it's efficient. But its looks seem old, it lacks ambition for its solo, and its multiplayer is scrawny, barely offering the minimum. It's a shame, because its story remains good, but a good game isn't a great game, and it's not like there's no great FPS out there.- Gameblog.fr

Syndicate offers a multi-tasking challenge that will appeal to shooting games aficionados, with brutal and overwhelming ennemies to dispatch both with skills and brains, but its poor story and average level-design have a tendency to nullify its better qualities. It's pretty, dynamic and even nicely polished in some regards, but fails to fully capture interest and immerse the player in its cyberpunk world.- Gameblog.fr

Dreamlike and original, Light Fall misses its point by being unsteady form start to finish. If the nice Shadow Core mechanics might charm you during the first moments of the game, its level design and very short adventure will not last long in the mind of every platformer addict. However, speedrunners might like the dedicated mode, which works nicely for those interested by emergent gameplay.- Gameblog.fr

Modern Combat Domination is quite pleasant, without being either a AAA title. You can have fun with it, as it is classical but really efficient... and with that price, that might interest FPS fans.- Gameblog.fr

Here it is at last, the first Castlevania Lords of Shadows DLC ! Is it as good as it was expected ? Well, yes and no. "Yes", because it adds one new chapter to a game we loved, because it does so with classy comic book style cinematics, by offering us some very nice moments playing Laura, with her vampire special abilities and her mastery of thunder, and by giving us new puzzle to chew on, new action sequences to experience, new backgrounds... it even goes as far as to give us a little something more out of the story, shining a little more light on the ending of Lords of Shadow. But "no", because it remains super short with only 3 levels to clear, which are not that surprising, and very quick to complete (maybe an hour). So we're left hanging, with a very frustrating "to be continued". So, for 800 MP, we'd have hoped for more content, or more intensity.- Gameblog.fr

Batman: The Telltale Series Episode 3 is the least interesting episode of the bunch so far. The player sometimes gets the impression that his choices don't mean anything and that game suffers from crashes and huge framerate drops. Luckily, the story picks up at the end and it looks like Episode 4 could be one for the ages.- Gameblog.fr

OlliOlli is an addictive skateboard game that will stick you to your PS Vita screen for long hours. Too bad there is not so much content inside, but for this small price, and as long as you like skateboarding games, it's still a good deal.- Gameblog.fr

Dead Island 2 is a pleasant game, but far from being memorable. It is as often fun as it is boring. The average quests don't fully engage us and the game fails to make us want to explore. Fortunately, the second part of the game is better, both in terms of level design and scenario. Too bad the ending is disappointing.- Gameblog.fr

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD offers quite a good experience, and it features a great combat system, rich gameplay and a true sense of variety in its quests. But it's still a PSP port, and technically it's impossible to pretend we don't see it. Type-0 still deserves your interest, even moreso when you know that it's packed with the first playable demo of FFXV.- Gameblog.fr

This remake of Castle of Illusion leaves us with mixed feelings. The game suffers from poor jump mechanics (which is a shame in a platformer, right), but offers on another hand a superb atmosphere, faithful to the original but with good additions in every levels... Are you nostalgic enough to really enjoy it?- Gameblog.fr

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom could have been a great game. Its touching characters and well crafted gameplay make it a good game, blessed with a distinct personality. That's always something, but the concept lacks any sort of innovation. Even though you've most probably already played something very similar, you'll probably cruise through the 15-or-so hours of the game with ease, to discover the end of this friendship story.- Gameblog.fr

Dragon Quest Treasures could have been a Switch's little gem, but it will remain in the shadow of its elder brother. With its efficient collecting, taming and crafting mechanics, the spin-off could get any gamer hooked. The exploration is generous, engaging, but the annoying back and forth, the lack of fast travel, the laughably poor combat system and the shaky technique will get the better of the most patient. A fun game, captivating at its best, with wasted potential.- Gameblog.fr
