Spelunky 2 is a divisive game. A masterpiece for those who swear by the reward at the end of their suffering, it will be painful and boring for those who want a fulfilling and contemporary experience. Even more difficult than the first game, it is undoubtedly frustrating because of its lack of pedagogy and progressiveness. Even for a game that wants to be difficult, the shock will be rough from the beginning.- Gameblog.fr

Stifled offers an original approach to the survival and stealth genre, with sound used as a way to progress and being chased. The efficient VR experience sadly falls flat as it gets redundant and the mechanics quickly run out of steam.- Gameblog.fr

Cities XL 2012 is more of an add-on for the 2011 edition. A nice little city builder game, easy to tackle at first, but with a very nice learning curve. But it's still very light compared to last year's edition, the new things are not that numerous, making it more of a die hard fan acquisition.- Gameblog.fr

Say No! More is as fun as it is short. In few hours of verbal abuse, Fizbin's arcade shooter delivers a legitimate criticism of the business world, with many good puns. Unfortunately, it's shortness and lack of replay value makes it fun for only a few hours. But good ones, for sure.- Gameblog.fr

Fresh and light, Pilotwings will make you travel... but not very far! About 30 levels to play and replay, improving your scores, that's not really huge. However, the 3D effect is very good and immersive. This game is quite fun and represents a nice way to spend some free time, but do not expect much more than this.- Gameblog.fr

PlayStation VR Worlds offers 5 different VR games that let us see what will be coming soon, thanks to VR, but all of them are frustrating for different reasons. The London Heist and Scavenger's Odyssey are very nice experiences that are really too short, VR Luge offers good speed sensations but is quickly boring, Danger Ball is a fun VR Pong without multiplayer, and Ocean Descent offers no interactions at all.- Gameblog.fr

With a well-written but quite complex story and its simplistic and sometimes frustrating gameplay, Fallen Legion feels like it doesn't know where to stand. Even though it's far from perfect, this game that allow us to experience two different stories on PS4 and PS Vita can definitely entertain you if you're not too demanding.- Gameblog.fr

This PES on 3DS shows interesting things, but is undoubtedly thrown on the market a little bit early... The content here is quite small, and there is no online functions. The potential is there, but we already know that the "complete game" will be there next year! As usual...- Gameblog.fr

From Dust's answer to the cravings of sandbox god game fanatics may be imperfect, but it would be a shame to deny him his chance, since we didn't have a god game for so long. Its ergonomic shortcomings and underwhelming surprising and renewal abilities prevent it from reaching the heights we'd have hoped, but the beauty of its simulation and the occasional awe-inspiring moments we get while contemplating our own creations are very real as well.- Gameblog.fr

While the reinforcement of (Every) Buddy might appear too light to have legitimately retitled this remastered port, such evolution not only strengthtens the combat system, but also softens the whole experience, which remains harsher than the smooth feathers of Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon suggest though.- Gameblog.fr

Even though it's not as much of a must-have as Super Meat Boy, Flower, or Limbo are, ilomilo is a nice little game full of charm and cleverness. It will probably seduce the puzzle fans. Its price and its poetic and polished world will conquer the others.- Gameblog.fr

This third episode of The Council contains a large amount of technical issues, among which the many and tedious loading times, making the exploration less pleasant than it should be. Despite all this, the plot is finally moving on and all the choices made by the player seem to have a real impact on the story as a whole.- Gameblog.fr

We were expecting feverishly to discover what Rocksteady had in store to draw us back in Akrham City. In the end, it feels a little too much like a reheated dish, despite the welcome presence of the Boy Wonder. It lacks surprises in terms of story or otherwise, and even the nice grim touche of the general tone isn't enough to quench the thirst we had for something a little bit newer.- Gameblog.fr

No, War of the North is not the blockbuster expected by the most enthusiastic of the fans. If it wasn't supported by such a strong license, it would even stay under the radar. But here we are : the fact that it remains so true to Tolkien's world and references it so well, with some true epic moments (the combat against a giant, the journey mounted on an eagle, the encounter with a dragon...) just saves it. Despite the numerous bugs and an energic but average combat system, it works : one always wants to make progress, and discover more. Lastly, the split-screen play has but one merit, to exist, since it's so chaotic to play. On the other hand, the online co-op is a real plus.- Gameblog.fr

Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection pays tribute to the franchise's earlier games. Fans will find some of their favorite characters and maps. What's more, they'll have the pleasure of discovering some titles for the first time in Europe. However, the interest is quickly limited by the redundancy of the games on offer and a definite lack of polish, particularly in terms of languages and texts. The most fervent fans will no doubt not be bothered to play through everything, but the others are likely to skip most of the games and enjoy only 2 or 3, if they have the courage to look for the one that suits them best. All in all, let's hope the publisher doesn't stop with this compilation. There are so many titles that deserve to be brought up to date, especially on previous generations of home consoles.- Gameblog.fr

A nice fighting game. It is rather interesting on the gameplay side, but fans of the manga will be especially pleased to see that this adaptation is visually stunning! The game's DLC policy is abusive, though.- Gameblog.fr

Fox n Forests delivers a religious homage to the 16-bit era platformers, with satisfying big sprites, pixelart backgrounds, but also loose collisions and a mad respawn system. Its numerous upgrades add a nice touch to the adventure, but serves as a weak excuse to revisit the same stages over and over. This is particularly unfortunate, because Fox n Forests still has nice aces up its sleeve, like specific controls and shoot'em up stages.- Gameblog.fr

It's clear that Hidden Agenda has an interesting concept. But this interactive thriller playable with your phone doesn't really fit with the idea of a party game and sometimes feels a bit rushed in technical terms and not really memorable.- Gameblog.fr

Force Unleashed II isn't a bad game, far from it actually. But its very short adventure, lack of polish, and imprecise gameplay prevent it from being anything more than a cheap steam-venting endeavor. Despite some nice ideas (usually borrowed from the killer apps of the genre, but poorly implemented). From a fan service standpoint, though, it clearly works with customizable light sabers, a ton of alternative badass-looking costumes for Starkiller, and additional challenges to have players compete over the internet.- Gameblog.fr

Islands of Wakfu, for a first game of Ankama Play, doesn't lack generosity, nor qualities. Its richness encompasses several gameplay mechanics, a lot of old school 2D games references, fresh ideas, and high production values with superb 2D visuals. Sadly, its gameplay is also far to rough on the edges, and more importantly hurt by a difficulty level that is poorly balanced. A lot of gamers will probably surrender before completing it because of that, a few will love to overcome those challenges, but all of them would have gained much by discovering such a title, if only it could have gotten rid of those shortcomings.- Gameblog.fr

Hard Reset is a full-on action-only FPS in a cyberpunk universe, blessed by a beautiful graphical engine and some nice gameplay ideas. The menu, which cycles through corridors, arenas, and waves of enemies, lacks variety, with only two boss fights and an undecipherable scenario, but nice explosions all over and a lot of reloads for the player. It may yet be too subtle for the Painkiller formula lovers... but it still a very ok game.- Gameblog.fr

Terror is back with A Machine for Pigs. Its story is a little bit disjointed at times, but it knows how to be moving as much as unhealthy. The great sounds let us forget about the defects of this new Amnesia: the engine is getting old, the gameplay is too simplified and the game is even shorter... but fear prevails!- Gameblog.fr

Sold as a Metal Gear Solid parody, Never Stop Sneakin' delivers mission after mission of some top down infiltration fun with retro visuals which clearly act as a strong homage to the PlayStation console. Strong as it can be within its first hours, the game runs short of ideas before we really expect it to, perhaps acting too generously too early to keep up with the genre.- Gameblog.fr
