Even if WWE 2K18 keeps on using the same old engine its predecessors used, the developers clearly improved the game's overall visual presentation. The new MyCareer mode and the Promo Engine 2.0 also add welcomed improvements. WWE 2K18 isn't the brand new game wrestling fans have been asking for years but it offers more than enough to have fun.- Gameblog.fr

Dead Rising 4 is a good game which takes most of the previous mechanics but forgets, once again, to implement the time limit we loved in the first episode. Some will be pleased, but the hardcore fans of the series won't.- Gameblog.fr

Ricky Haggett's I Am Dead offers a nice walk on a fictional island through the eyes of the recently deceased Morris Lupton, hoping to find a new Keeper to prevent a volcan's eruption. With it's dog Sparky and a clever mechanic of zooming into almost every item, house or people you can see, I Am Dead is a short but relaxing puzzle-adventure. We simply hoped the extra challenge was more rewarding.- Gameblog.fr

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 builds on the qualities of the first episode and removes its flaws to finally offer a massive and frenetic Dynasty Warrior's-like beat'em all... A genre that has its limits, but fans of the One Piece series will be delighted to find a new original story, 36 playable characters and many things to unlock.- Gameblog.fr

SNK 40th Anniversary Collection is a good compilation of SNK games, which will remind a lot of good memories to the fans of this brand, even if the Vs fighting and run&gun games are missing (find them on the Neo Geo Mini).- Gameblog.fr

Asterix and Obelix Slap'em All is a charming beat'em all which still lacks of depth too keep the enjoyment on the long run. Despite its gorgeous look and animation, the repetitiveness of the 50 levels and simple gameplay aim for a young audience more than the average street fighter.- Gameblog.fr

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is a good surprise. It is larger, more varied and more epic than the first episode. The only problem is the lack of clarity of the interface, especially during big battles.- Gameblog.fr

Visually pleasant, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a clever platformer with brilliant gameplay mechanics. Even if a few sections can feel a bit frustrating and Max's controls are a bit disappointing, this game offers a good challenge for those who like puzzles. Xbox One owners should definitely have a look at it.- Gameblog.fr

Even if it doesn't add touch screen feature and seems to lack some real novelty, Picross S3 offers dozens of new images to discover with a principle that can kill every minute of your spare time without you noticing it. It's a fair entry entry in the series with a fun new mode, Color Picross, that sadly feels very short with only 30 puzzles.- Gameblog.fr

While the classic campaign only revamps the old, individualistic, yet outrageously randomised formula by developing few recent additions, Super Mario Party displays a more strategic approach through special dice dedicated to each character and cooperative modes. This episode also features diverse wonderful mini games that cleverly use the ergonomic particularities of the Nintendo Switch, with a solid competitive dimension even extended online, but the whole program lacks sufficient content to be really worthy of such superlative a title.- Gameblog.fr

In the end, Aegis Defenders proves to be a solid title with appealing visuals and well-established mechanics. More gripping in its co-op mode, this twelve-hour campaign can be a harsh journey if you try to fulfill it on your own.- Gameblog.fr

With Fire Emblem Three Hopes, Omega Force once again proves its ability to unite opposing universes and create an adaptation that works almost perfectly. Provided you have a strong liver and can withstand repetitiveness that can quickly become indigestible. Three Hopes inherits nearly all of the genre's inherent flaws, but manages to gloss over them with deep gameplay and exhilarating micro-management, provided you're fond of that sort of thing. Addictive in its own way, the game is nonetheless too long for its own good. To consume with moderation.- Gameblog.fr

ANNO 1800 succeeds in making itself playable and enjoyable on home consoles. It's rather beautiful, and the gameplay with the controller is successful, although it will take a little time to get used to it. On the other hand, if the game is nice to the eye, it has a few technical glitches that will make the less patient players complain. Some of the game's loading times are quite long, textures sometimes have trouble displaying when zooming in and the framerate seems to be slowed down quite often. It's also a shame that the game is not as well supplied as its PC version. It lacks quite a bit of content. And even though you'll already have enough to play for many hours, you can't help but be disappointed. Anyway, it's hard to sulk your pleasure, ANNO 1800 on consoles is successful and will satisfy fans of the genre.- Gameblog.fr

Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is a very good surprise. None was expecting it, but it does a great job entertaining both Kingdom Hearts lovers and casual players looking for a good F2P experience on smartphones. Hardcore fans will be disappointed by the lack of challenge in the game's missions and by the lack of interesting end-game content.- Gameblog.fr

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is a treat for fans of what might be called the “cosy-RPG”. Despite a pleasant but not memorable adventure, it offers great freedom of gameplay. It's up to you to modulate your story by taking greater advantage of the narrative or the various jobs available to you. What's more, it breaks with the usual routine of games in this genre, which give you everything at your fingertips almost immediately. Thanks to the job system, one activity can lead to another, and so on, making for a truly dynamic immersion with a dose of RP that should please many. It lacks that little something in its visual identity to make it totally stand out from its competitors. Nevertheless, it remains one of the most accomplished representatives of the genre in recent years.- Gameblog.fr

Dune Awakening isn't a typical survival game. Where most games in the genre focus only on surviving or escaping, Funcom goes further. The game offers deep immersion in a legendary universe, a satisfying power curve, a team-based endgame, and PvP with real strategic potential. But this ambition comes with flaws. The experience is still rough in places. The UI is clunky, the AI is weak, and combat lacks fluidity. Some systems shine while others need polish. Dune Awakening won’t suit everyone. Its slow start and demanding design might turn off some players. But those who embrace its rhythm will find a tough, generous sandbox. And like Conan Exiles, it's a game meant to grow over time.- Gameblog.fr

I have a weird love-hate relationship with Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. At times, it's nostalgic, it's nicely written story and its unique design just blows me away, but at other times, I simply hate its poorly designed interfaced, its lack of innovation and the simple fact that it never dares to try anything new. When it does something, it does it perfectly, but it simply doesn't feel like enough in 2017. It plays it way too safely for its own good.- Gameblog.fr

Especially if you know and love the original game, Mafia Definitive Edition is pure joy. We follow the adventures of Tommy Angelo like we would follow those of a character of a good move form Coppola. Beyond nostalgia, we take part in a wonderful gangster story. Despite every issue the game suffers at the moment (random freezes, crashes...) and some terrible optimizations on PC and PS4, it's still a captivating game, but it's hard to ignore its flaws.- Gameblog.fr

The Persistence is an immersive, but not so scary, PSVR stealth game set in a spaceship full of zombies. It uses Rogue-lite mechanics in a good way, feels very punishing- but not impossible - and has some cool weapons to fight in its procedurally generated levels, that you can visit with a friend using a tablet.- Gameblog.fr

It remains a very valuable help and will evolve anyway to become an essential card game developing its esport side. The PS4 version of Attack on Titan is true to the original anime. The three dimensional maneuver gear feels amazing and it is a real blast to fly around the maps and slay titans with our swords. Sadly, the game is quite repetitive and lacks real challenges in order to be a must-have for the platform.- Gameblog.fr

One does not lose talent that easily, it seems. The Cave shows that Ron Gilbert still has this little touch of craziness that sets him apart from other game creators, and that allows him to produce adventure games that are fresh. Despite some errors and shortcomings like its short length and not-so-extensive replayability, this cute title doesn't lack positive qualities, most notably in terms of writing and puzzle design. And it's also quite funny, smart, and affordable.- Gameblog.fr
