Ancestors Humankind Odyssey is a game which we embody the deans of humanity, immersed in the fascinating, extremely immersive and often moving adventure of the great story of life. However, Panache Digital Games has not completely managed to offer a game always technically up to the originality of his proposal. It is nonetheless a singular experience that arouses great sympathy and for which it would be a shame to miss out, especially if the few really disabling design flaws were to be corrected soon.- Gameblog.fr

Cat Quest 3 is a proposal in line with what Gentlebros had accustomed us to with the first two opuses of the license. The game loses some of the scope of the second installment. However, the call for adventure is there, reinforced by a sense of humor that wins us over. The story is short, but the ease of exploration makes you want to explore the open-world further. With two players, the pleasure is doubled. It's a pity that the legibility of combat is lost in multiplayer. Likewise, the quest system is being fine-tuned, but still needs to be consolidated to be effective. For around twenty euros, this third installment is well worth a look, if only to spend some quality time with family and friends, or even just for the pleasure of having some mindless fun with a game.- Gameblog.fr

Despite a slow start, this DLC offers an alternative vision and storyline that translates in the gameplay as well, and will undoubtedly please Assassin's Creed III's fans. Too bad, though, that it's fragmented in three episodes - in terms of price, it's best to opt for the season pass.- Gameblog.fr

Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain is another vision of the franchise made by an other studio. The new approach is quite good, more serious and more accessible.- Gameblog.fr

Inviting amiibo figures already marks a welcome return to board games, both traditional and virtual, but Bowser's nomination as the master of asymmetrical ceremonies terrifically heats the party up.- Gameblog.fr

With Pullblox, Intelligent Systems definitely found a clever way to create puzzles with moving blocks, and it's a joy to share these angular riddles more easily through the Miiverse on Wii U, even if there are few new ideas.- Gameblog.fr

Beyond a Steel Sky is a a worthy follow-up to the original game. Its story, characters, atmosphere and puzzles are truly enjoyable and its comic book visuals are totally fitting. It's just too bad that it doesn't feel well polished and that some people will, more than surely, have some headaches because it's sometimes really tough to know what the next objective is.- Gameblog.fr

Nyamakop has successfully completed the requirements for a good puzzle-platformer: a charming art direction, with part of the world made of playdough, and a creative gameplay experience that allows the player to shape the environment. A little too short, Semblance is definitely a worthwhile game for the Nintendo Switch.- Gameblog.fr

Evil West is a nice experience. Very violent and not very subtle, do not look for a tactical experience. It is a game that has for only goal to let your brain rest.- Gameblog.fr

Total War: Warhammer II is not a new game but an extension. Very good mechanics and very good AI, but not enough content to call it as a NEW game. Despite that, when Warhammer III will be released, the three games will probably be the best Total War never made.- Gameblog.fr

This whole season proves that 47 can still pleases fans of stealth-based games. Clever ideas and well-crafted environments with, sometimes, a lot of characters on screen make the new Hitman a true heir to Blood Money, even if A.I. and story could be more efficient.- Gameblog.fr

WRC 7 rectifies the flaws of its predecessor. It's a good rally game that is still not perfect, but it will especially suffer from the great competition that is announced this year, with a lot of big racing games coming out.- Gameblog.fr

Indivisible is a platform game and a no-fuss RPG. Without much depth either, a defect without a doubt for those who hoped to tackle a RGP borrowing a certain complexity. For others, it remains a very nice game, because of its beautiful Japanese cartoon attire, these characters, if they are very charismatic, at least always cute and fun, and its overall dynamism.- Gameblog.fr

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, the first real original duo of the main series on Switch, are not to Pokémon what Breath of the Wild is to The Legend of Zelda, namely a bold upheaval of fundamentals to establish a formula reinvented for coming years. With these new games Pokémon, Game Freak proceeds as usual in the evolution of the series, small touches, all the more welcome this time they seem absolutely necessary today, like the boxes PC accessible everywhere. Without major disruption but with significant improvements, in terms of game comfort mainly, and while some will probably deplore the reduced number of Pokémon referenced base in the Pokédex Galar, new region that enjoys a care of atmosphere and staging undeniable, Pokémon remains faithful to its formula still winning for over twenty years, at the risk of missing the evolutionary step offered and hoped for by its convergence with the so popular Nintendo Switch. That said, the proposal is still effective for those for whom risk taking is secondary and of course the newcomers, especially children, the first public concerned and whose generations succeed and always succumb to the charms of those offered over the years by Pokémon.- Gameblog.fr

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is an action-oriented RPG whose gameplay mechanics are almost entirely based on those of Nioh, one of the most prominent Dark Souls clones. The game is a bit outdated in its layout and it seems to come from another age.- Gameblog.fr

PictoQuest is a nice mix between Picross puzzles and old-school RPG mechanics. But despite its lovely charm and big Picross grids, NanoPiko adventure should have aimed for a tiny bit of challenge, instead of taking every player by the hand.- Gameblog.fr

Onrush is a fast, fun and entertaining game. By scraping a little at its surface, we discover that it is more subtle than it seems and therefore has more depth than one might think. The range of action is wide enough for everyone to find his account. But there are some bugs that are tough to forgive, even if they are not very serious. Let's hope that future patches will both correct them and evolve the game so that we can continue to ride for a long while.- Gameblog.fr

Donkey Kong Adventure is a worthy addition to the Kingdom Battle experience. The DLC's universe is a fun and colorful as the original game's while the new characters and battles add some freshness to the mix. We hope it's not the last we hear from Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Cranky.- Gameblog.fr

Windjammers is identical to the game released 23 years ago, with one difference: it contains an online mode that gives it a new life. We would have liked a better network code and more flexibility in defining the match options, but for the rest everything is there. It's fast, nervous and extremely demanding in terms of reflexes. Those who have known it at the time will find back their sensations after only a few minutes of play. As for the solo mode, however, this version is so faithful to the original that it maintains its main flaw: except a short competition and a versus mode, there's nothing else.- Gameblog.fr

True to the series' heritage, Kirby Star Allies asserts its apparent simplicity through a candid, somehow heartbreaking scenario, a vibrant artistic direction, and a sweet gameplay fundamentally built for conviviality, with enemies that can also become skillful buddies once befriended. This amicable approach creates sympathetic cooperative operations and wonderful sequences of grouped transformations, but it results in a constrained, hence linear level design. While the new powers reveal interesting and potentially overpowerful teamwork synergies, those are only exploited into the rather short additional modes. More generosity, imagination and even boldness were expected from this moving, then ultimately nostalgic adventure.- Gameblog.fr

Vampyr is a good surprise, with a delightful poetic and gothic atmosphere, a clever story and a satisfying system of choices. Sadly, its combat system is crippled by its locking mechanics especially, and most of the fights are not wall balanced. Despite this, Vampyr is a really good action-RPG.- Gameblog.fr
