This Metal Gear spin-off surprisingly sets itself between a hardcore survival and a 3D tower-defense game, which will hardly satisfy most gamers. If you survive the initial ruthless hours, you could realize Metal Gear Survive's true potential, delivering a long and tough survival experience. Unfortunately, Konami's greed for micro-transactions breaks the game's balance and is way too prominent to appear as a minor feature.

The Technomancer has some big flaws, but with its rich universe, fascinating dialogues and pretty graphics, it doesn't fail at being a good Action-RPG.

Resistance : Burning Skies doesn't surprise in any way but its excellent playability and arsenal. The rest is basic, ordinary, and uninspired.

Suicide Squad is not the disaster that we were afraid of. But in the other hand, it's not a good game because its many flaws. The storytelling is good enough and the characters are excellent, especially Harley Quinn. There is definitely a sense of humour, the combat part offers a crisp feel like the parkour. But the game as a service structure is a huge problem.

We expected just another installment of DBZ, with the same story, the same battles, with no originality... We were wrong! Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 pushes the limits of the genre with a new combat system that makes all possible. A beautiful game, super fast, comprehensive and very technical. One of the really best DBZ fighting games.

Just like kids playing with plasticine, Claybook is good-hearted and full of creativity, but has more than often hazardous results. In other words, while the concept looks good, it's not well modeled enough concerning gameplay and ergonomics.

While venturing away from survival horror, Mighty Rocket Studio follows the rules of the side-scrollers assiduously, but lacks some imagination to really succeed in Final Exam, at least as a solitary test. Indeed as a collegial experience, this teen movie massacre gets much more interesting, since the gameplay delivers its full power through teamwork.

More than a game, Separation is a poignant testimony entirely conceived and developed by a single man, bruised and suffering from depression following the loss of a loved one. Martin Wheeler simply opened his heart to tell us about the evil that consumed him, in the form of a PlayStation VR game that deserves our attention.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity will not be the one to up the series. This first episode of Mystery Dungeon running on the 3DS simplified its gameplay so much that it's become even duller than previous episodes, making it the weakest of an already not-so-great saga.

On the Wii, Inazuma Eleven shows a somewhat-dull gameplay, a clear lack of content, isn't deep enough, and overall, it's a disappointing adaptation of the the DS games, lacking in terms of ideas. The result is too average.

Liberated seemed like a good idea, but this comic book-inspired action platformer is a game without any idea, which do not even reach to anything at all. With its stiff control, poor collision, repetitive action and oh-so cliché story, the game does not even take advantage of its comic book format.

The theme, the design and the gameplay of Okabu make a good first impression for a game targeted at younger audiences, sadly, it quickly collapses because of an excessive repetitiveness, perfectible ergonomics, and some bugs and lack of challenge. Too bad!

If Jackson and Spielberg seem to have won their gamble in adapting Tintin on the silver screen, sadly, it's not the case of Ubisoft for its game. Not that it's a bad game in itself, but this Tintin and its 2D gameplay is far too repetitive, and the 3D sequences on a plane or motorcycle aren't very convincing. If you top that with a 4 hours time to finish it (at the most), and despite a coop mode, nice musics and polished dialogs, you're in for a disappointment if you're looking for something on par with the movie, or the original comic books.

This sequel clearly worked out some camera issues of the original on the Wii, and offers a nice addition with cooperative play, but lacks the production values, polish, pacing and innovations we would have hoped.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 can be an enjoyable FPS game, but unfortunately the very good shooting sensations are not enough to ignore all the flaws, AI problems and glitches of the game.

On top of quantity, Mario Party: The Top 100 gathers quality minigames that were wisely chosen, nicely updated and carefully ported to the portable console, although this nostalgic selection also results from the eventual compatibility with the original controls, consequently creating a few issues. Worse, the main modes are too simplistic and almost void of content. Whether those underline a lack of inspiration or development time, such shortcomings prevent this compilation from expressing its potential further than brief multiplayer sessions.

If you like puzzle games and mysterious adventures, Subject 13 might overwhelm you.

We could be enjoying the fact that there are a lot of knights to play with, but Soldiers' Soul is just another bad Saint Seiya game. Fighting is boring, graphics and animations just look old and the campaign will probably make you furious that no respect has been shown to this legendary manga and anime.

Not The Robots is a little game that will probably entertain some puzzle/stealth fans, and those who are looking for a very challenging roguelike game... However, for most people, it remains repulsive and unattractive, mostly because of a cold and limited visual rendering.

Micro Machines World Series succeeds in some areas, as the controls has been nicely revamped and the Elimination mode works fine and is fun... But for the rest, this game lacks so much content (modes, challenges...) we couldn't believe it.

Despite some improvements, NBA Live 15 loses again its fight against the NBA 2K rival. Only the most indulgent gamers could be satisfied with the spectacular basketball proposed by Electronic Arts.

Splatterhouse is for people who want 100% bashing and 0% brains, and who won't care too much for current production values or gameplay standards. The mask and Corrupted story is nicer to follow than we expected, and there's enough content there to quench your thirst for B-Movie style blood. But it still has a more shortcomings than good surprises... a simple title for simple tastes.

Rebel Cops only takes the tactical part of the last This is the Police. But by the way, it does not erase its defects and removes all the narrative part that could lighten it. We end up with a game that lacks dynamism, with recurring mechanics and a feeling of growing frustration.

Contrast offers a nice story and a unique atmosphere, but nothing that is really advanced, artistically speaking. The basic idea of gameplay is quite good also, but the bugs and awkward controls will frustrate the players most of the time.

Mars War Logs isn't free of shortcomings, and not all of them can be explained by the low budget of the studio. Some are design mistakes, or skewed ideas. But its basics are pretty solid, and this RPG, as well as its universe, are ambitious and realistic. Its shortcomings should really be overlooked, for a sequel with more means would probably be even more enjoyable.

Warcraft III Reforged is at least equal to itself and it is already something. Yes, its graphics engine fails to display a fluidity worthy of the finesse of its redesign. But the game mechanics, the storyboarding of the campaigns and augmented narration convince the player even more that he is facing one of the big names in the history of video games. If you are not a player who is looking to be sharp to enter esports, you will also have a great time online. Don't give in to blind bashing. Form your own opinion.

Tour de France 2021 remains a quite good game (accessibility, immersion, strategic options), but Cyanide risks losing credibility with its loyal fans. A graphic step is needed and the developer has to be more generous in novelties so as not to become an anonymous rider in the middle of the peloton.
