TRON Evolution, even though it bridges the gap between the two movies, remains quite dispensable, even for fans of the universe. Its gameplay, a mashup of cheesy combat and pale wallrun-based stunts copied and pasted from other more respectable games, bores more than it entertains. Even though its technically and visually correct, its dreariness and lack of pace nullifies its original ambitions.- Gameblog.fr

Despite the introduction of amiibo, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash has little new content. Camelot powered up the gameplay instead, an over-the-top approach embodied by the Mega Mushroom, although the Jumpshot stands as the biggest addition. And the series' legendary accessibility, depth and balance also improved through this great touch of design, which elevates "Jumpman Tennis" among the most convivial games.- Gameblog.fr

Font Mission is like a 1995's Virtual On, but without Sega's talent, both in terms of game design and customization options for you Wanzer. Oh, and the production values are clearly not on par with what one can expect from an average current gen HD game. If it wasn't a quick buck drawn from a prestigious name, I don't understand what Square intended to do with this.- Gameblog.fr

An honest action game, Spider-Man : Edge of Time demonstrates the ability of Beenox to manage the hero rather well, even though this episode doesn't surpass the previous one. There still a lot to cover before Spidey becomes as much of a videogame must-have as Batman did. It would require better environments, as well as a more ambitious storyline and storytelling with more than simple and usual game mechanics.- Gameblog.fr

With Dr. Mario World, a larger audience can freely benefit from Nintendo's famous puzzle game treatment, but despite some contagious stimulating effects of the multiplayer battles, its yet wholly tactile formula appears too drastically altered for ergonomical and economical reasons to prove more efficient than generic medicine.- Gameblog.fr

No Red T-Shirts has its charm, if only visually, but once you start playing it, the overall gameplay lacking precision and the rules that make no sense have a tendency to ruin the experience. It starts quite well, but loses its appeal quite fast.- Gameblog.fr

With Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, Activision has unfortunately proved right all those who have been criticizing the franchise since the dawn of time, with arguments that are sometimes a little excessive. This time, it's impossible to prove them wrong. Under the guise of nostalgia, we're treated to maps we've already seen and heard of, and nothing new, nor any major changes, just to get the ball rolling again. The campaign is short and uneven. There are a few memorable sequences, but they can be counted on the fingers of one hand. As for the zombie mode, it's a simple mix of DMZ and Cold War Zombie thrown together on the new Warzone map. Even if it's not all bad news - the game's multiplayer is pretty solid, and the sensations and gunplay are cool - Activision knows that when we hear you talk about a "premium experience", we don't believe it for a moment. And yet it's a very good customer who's telling you here, not without a certain sadness.- Gameblog.fr

Lost Planet 3 has nothing in common with its two predecessors. The single player campaign is actually quite pleasant, especially because of its story that manages to keep us in suspense. However, the game is quite uninspired and lacks depth.- Gameblog.fr

Koei didn't change a thing to the Dynasty formula, and it's a shame. It's also unacceptable that the game still suffers from the same technical issues that were already known. This episode is supposed to give a tactical dimension to the series, but it doesn't really gain any gameplay depth.- Gameblog.fr

Gripper is a boss rush inspired by Furi but different in its core gameplay. Here you are riding a bike to defeat your enemies, using a winch to destroy them. If the gameplay can be satisfying sometime it can be very frustrating lacking some tweaks here and there, especially on the Switch, to help the player reading the action and knowing what must be done to win the fight.- Gameblog.fr

If you're not familiar with the series, or was always put off by its demanding gameplay, this episode might be the one for you. It's simple yet impressive enough. But by sacrificing its hardcore roots to become more accessible, the fans of the originals will feel like it's lost part of its soul.- Gameblog.fr

The game mechanics of the original table top game make for an odd videogame experience. But if you know the original, you will understand this take on this classic; but unfortunately, Full Control didn't really polish the game, which is full of bugs, has poor production values, and lacks content.- Gameblog.fr

It’s difficult to go after Trials Evolution. Same game system, same goals, but a good step below his rival, Urban Trial Freestyle fails to convince either graphically on a PC. Nevertheless, the concept is fun and it is possible to have a good time if we manage to forget Red Lynx’s game.- Gameblog.fr

Ubisoft clearly wanted to make Breakpoint a mix between The Division and Destiny, but it doesn't really work if you look at the work as a whole. Dusty community hub breaking immersion, idiot AI, bugs of all kinds despite the beta, microtransaction system a little bit abusive, terrible driving vehicles system, tactics non-existent in solo.... However, the game also has some good aspects, especially with its brilliant main actor, its fun multiplayer Ghost War mode and many cooperative possibilities due to the realistic and complete equipment. Definitely Ghost Recon Breakpoint is not a bad game, but it is not what you would call a good game either.- Gameblog.fr

V-Rally 4 has some good ideas and a solid base, but it seems that we are always close to something excellent, before being disappointed by a disruptive element, as it will probably remain limited to racing enthusiasts.- Gameblog.fr

A game that slashes gameplay in favor of dynamic visuals, very true to the anime. But the illusion of pretty graphics quickly disappears, revealing dull combats, repetitive gameplay, and other shortcomings. Even the most hardcore fans will not find this fun for a long time.- Gameblog.fr

Venture Kid tries so much to pay tribute to the old 8 bit games, starting with Mega Man, that it got lost along the way. Without any original content to show, this mobile game delivers nothing new on PC or Switch, and lacks the length or level design of the great games it constantly quotes.- Gameblog.fr

Despite a really good, well written story, Game of Thrones certainly hasn't had the means to offer high quality graphics. Unfortunately, there are also some heartbreaking mistakes in its gameplay, and a big lack of content. In short, you will buy this game only for its superb story, which is some kind of masterpiece for a video game.- Gameblog.fr

1-2 Switch is able to show what Nintendo Switch is about, and it can be a lot of fun when you try a well designed minigame or watch someone playing it. But only for a short time, and this is why 1-2 Switch can't be considered as the Wii Sports equivalent.- Gameblog.fr

We'd have hoped that if a third iteration in the series was done, it was with the overall goal of surpassing the quality of the two average previous games. But the Devil's Cartel ends-up being a sub-par TPS, bugged, limited, uninspired and even lazy in its game design.- Gameblog.fr

For their first 360 game, the raving rabbids deliver a mixed experience. The augmented reality enabling the rabbids to spawn in your living-room is fun, but lacks precision. The main issue resides within the fact that those levels do not constitue the majority of the game, more classic ones are, and they lack originality and rythm. The animated styled mini-games are funny, but we've already seen much better with a wiimote in hand in Wario Ware.- Gameblog.fr

It's totally possible to be intrigued by what Hungry Shark World has to offer on PS4, Xbox One and Switch. It's a simple game with easily understandable mechanics. Sadly, progression is quite laborious and dull, and outdated visuals and loading times are definitely not helping.- Gameblog.fr

The tricky customs of these islands are refreshing, but this trip falls short of imagination considering the boards architecture. Moreover, the absence of an online mode confines this tour to a local scope, which is regrettable since the minigames provide lots of funny activities that make the most of the 3DS functions.- Gameblog.fr

Datura seems like your typical, interesting indie experience. But the truth is : it's as painful to play as it is unsatifying in terms of story and puzzle-solving. The two hours of puzzle solving and unbelievably slow walks in the forest are mainly spent on trying to make sense of the PS Move horrible gameplay than the game itself.- Gameblog.fr

For the price of a Coke at the local coffee shop, The Golems of Amgarrak has enough to fill an evening, playing frantically to survive the succession of battles. That's good, it rained tonight. It performs its role honestly, given the absence of major claims... But we still hope something much more substantial to wait until the release of Dragon Age 2!- Gameblog.fr
