A few months after a terrific Sonic Mania, Sonic Team gives us a short, unchallenging game lacking in fresh ideas and unable to fix some issues from previous disappointing iterations. Don't hope to get magic of the first days back with Sonic Forces.

Far from being a void attempt at the genre in digital form, Faery is charming thanks to its freshness and classic world revisiting the forgotten tales and legends. But it will will quickly show its limits to the RPG fans, because of its not-so-deep gameplay. Despite its limitations, Faery remains an interesting proposition, if you have already consumed all the must-have games of the downloadable offerings out there.

The Princess Guide bring a poor action gameplay, despite an interesting design and nice strategic phases.

After its triumph on the Nintendo DS, Kawashima is back with new exercices to train not only your brain, but your body as well. Exclusively playable with Kinect, the title is well designed, provides a nice variety of smart mini-games to train reflexes and coordination. There's also a multiplayer mode (up to 4 players, but only 2 at the same time), and provided that you have the room to use it, Kinect responds well. But despite all these qualities, one will still review all there is to see quite quickly. With a lower price, it would have been more in line with the offer.

Fans will enjoy this new Gundam game on PS Vita, as it offers a nice gameplay and of course a good sense of fan service, but the game still suffers some flaws in its game modes.

The LEGO Movie 2 tries to mix things up a bit by using ideas from LEGO Worlds but is dragged down by its repetitive gameplay loop and its technical issues. Only young kids who enjoyed the movie might get something out of this game unfortunately.

First representative of a lost genre in years, Skater XL will clearly disappoint those who hopes for dense content. Clearly focused on its core simulation mechanics, the game offers a true experience of what skating might feel, but lacks on every other level, with very few stages, a meagre soundtrack and many technical flaws.

Sadly, Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris offers a really short and unsatisfying campaign. The story is unengaging and the whole content feels a bit weak, even if the new raid deserves to be tried.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is nothing more than a quick cash grab made with no ambition. The characters are fun and the game has a clever way of creating a gameplay system out of Saitama's power and the series' events. But that pretty much it. The game quickly becomes boring and could visually pass as a (bad) PS3 game. One Punch Man fans will unfortunately have to wait for a better game.

Gear.Club 2 is a positive evolution of the first one, but a minor evolution. Not enough in any case so we can decide to move to this new version without any remorse. In addition, the technical problems encountered with the original game (driving 100% arcade, loading times) remains. Gear.Club 2 is therefore a game to advise because it is the only one in the category of "serious" racing games of the Nintendo Switch.

The story and visuals of Randal's Monday feel very promising at first. But this point-and-click suffers from a lack of sharp characters and dialogues, while the puzzle design can make you shed a tear as it asks you to try everything with all the items in your possession... without knowing why. A disappointment.

Sure, the augmented reality brings something unusual to the game. Feeding your pet, play with it, check its health, etc. does have something magical to it, especially with the familiar backgrounds of your own home. But beyond this initial amazement, the not-so deep activities, the technical limitations of the PSP's camera, and the annoying loading times will tarnish the fun you can get in the long run. That's why the PS3 version remains so much better.

Somewhere between Overlord and Pikmin, Army Corps of Hell uses the gameplay mechanics of this last title, but wrapped in a Hell-inspired world. A devil character throws its minion into battle instead of himself. Unfortunately, the game is visually quite poor and soon becomes boring in between the boss battles.

Don't even think about playing Cyberpunk 2077 on base PS4, its performance is awful. Of course, no one can expect a game to run like it does on a good PC, where it is a stellar experience. But what we feel is that this version was abandoned, no effort was put in it. Blurry, not very smooth, suffering from NPC that just pop or have no faces for a couple of seconds. It also feels very empty, which obliterates its positive qualities. Not to mention myriad glitches and hiccups that are probably less evident on PS4 Pro or PS5, but which make us say that you need a computer or, if everything goes well, wait for the Next-Gen versions if you want to have a real taste of Cyberpunk 2077.

Incoming movie? Quick, get me a game out there! That's how one could summarize Transformers: Dark of the Moon. With super linear TPS phases and a failed racing gameplay, this episode only has its Mecha license and steam-venting ability for itself. AI's a mess, most of the original sequences aren't really convincing, and its production values are clearly not on par with the rest of the game products of today.

This new DLC that takes us to Mars has a Hurk. It's cool if you like this talkative and dumb character, science fiction and jetpacks. However, it's not enough to have good fun on a shallow map full of generic quests and Ubitowers we thought disappeared with Far Cry 5.

There's no easy way to put it: Jump Force is a massive disappointment. The game should be an epic celebration of 50 years of legendary characters and stories. What we're left with is a dated game that looks like a cheap cash grab. Goku, Naruto, Luffy and friends deserve so much better.

This DS game isn't as bad as its HD counterparts, despite its average graphics and some flaws of playability. Too bad the story isn't really well put, the levels so short and really uninspired, and the close-range targeting failing more often than not. It could have been a very nice game without those flaws.

This 3DS version has the merit of offering more or less the same experience than the HD versions (minus the voice-overs, and a lesser visual prowess); but it also inherits its shortcomings. A repetitive gameplay, very short lifespan, and underwhelming action sequences.
