While this does not add anything to the shoot'em up classic, it brings this short but frantic challenge to more players as it allows the Switch audience to enjoy one of the most iconic arcade style shoot'em ups of the last two decades, even if less experienced players will find it frustrating.

Pokémon Sun & Moon are among the best entries in the series and while it doesn't break any significant new grounds, Game Freak's latest opus adds an additional layer of strategic planning to the gameplay and features a beautiful audiovisual environment topped with the series' best plot so far. It's not very clear where Poké Finder fits in and the performance is less on par in the original 3DS but the Pokémon series is definitely showing that it's still alive and kicking...and worthy of the players' attention.

Guacamelee! 2 may share a lot of aspects with its predecessor but that doesn't stand in the way of improving in several ways. Even better, this is a gem of a game, with a delightful sense of humour and an addictive Metroidvania-style gameplay that becomes even more fun when making use of its upgraded-to-four-player co-op mode.

This remake of Link's Awakening is by most ways the ultimate version of the Zelda classic. With additional content, a much-improved item assignment system and consequent gameplay improvements, a new difficulty level and a marvelous visual style, the new Link's Awakening is a joy to play and the experience would be even better if the new Chamber Dungeon component offered more options.

Trine 2: Complete Story is not arriving on the Nintendo Switch with a wealth of new content but how can that matter when this is such a marvelous puzzler? With its art style that still looks gorgeous as it ages, a perfectly fluid control system and gameplay, this incarnation of Trine 2 could only improve by being made into a handheld system and now that this threshold has been met, the only thing left to say is for everyone to get their hands on it.
