ABZÛ is not proposing to be an action packed experience and there's nothing wrong with that, the problem is ABZÛ delivers very little in terms of gameplay experience, no matter what angle is used to look at it. Beyond its marvelous looking environment and absolutely mindblowing soundtrack, ABZÛ leaves all its promises unfulfilled, aggravated by the fact that it becomes obvious this game could have delivered so much more.- FNintendo

Children of Morta is a gem of a roguelike that often behaves like an action RPG and with its exquisite art style, simple but fun combat system and enormous variety of customization and character experimentation, it makes for a marvelous game that gets its job done in a very satisfying way. On top of that, it even features a wonderful co-op component.- FNintendo

Vitamin Connection, a Nintendo Switch exclusive is a good formula for two players who are looking for a fun, intense action experience. While its solo dimension feels much emptier, the game's lovely visual presentation, variety of levels and gameplay mechanics that make full use of the Nintendo Switch capabilities are certain to please many pairs of players looking for a good time.- FNintendo

The way its gameplay and its challenges are designed, Snipperclips turns out to be less than thrilling when played by just one player and under-performing and somewhat chaotic when played by thee or four players. Through cutting, moving and rotating shapes, Snipperclips forms one of the most original two-player experiences on the Nintendo Switch so far.- FNintendo

The fourth chapter of the Trine series features a beautiful audiovisual environment, a very wide ranging multiplayer component and many dynamic, stimulating puzzles. With plenty of content to explore, whether on the water or dry land, the sea-based battles remain addictive to this day and the inclusion of all additional content makes this package a wonderful gem for everyone who wants to return to Assassin's Creed or simply try it for the first time.- FNintendo

While it may not break any ground at that, BOXBOXBOY! is a good puzzle game that will certainly provide good amounts of fun and entertainment through its 120 levels to all those who put their hands on it.- FNintendo

Etrian Odyssey Untold is a successful and well-executed remake which does a superb job at introducing the series to newcomers, as well as to rekindling the interest of its veterans. The game's enormous lifespan, its wide variety of locations and magnificent remastered soundtrack more than make for a rather simple narrative.- FNintendo

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is one of the best turn-based RPGs to be released in recent years and the best of its genre in the Wii U catalogue. While it does not reach a perfect balance between the Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei series and it certainly could have a more inspiring plot, its length, the fun and deep moments of combat and dungeon exploration are more than enough to genuinely attract any RPG fan to this title.- FNintendo

The Banner Saga is short but that does not stand on its way from being a fine tactical game with a very challenging combat system and plot options which can lead to some very surprising outcomes. Its marvelous visual environment helps it stand out and the characters will prove quite challenging to manage, even if the narrative could be presented in a more interesting way.- FNintendo

Gunman Clive 2 is a welcome platformer, designed on a similar track as other 2D action platformers. Its art style sets it apart, though, and the marvelous details and graphical environment are a delight to look at. On the downside, its lifespan feels shorter and some instances, such as the flying stages, feel out of place.- FNintendo

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe brings two of the most iconic 2D platformers of the Wii U to the Nintendo Switch under one game in an edition that represents the peak of what those games can achieve, there's no doubt on that side. What it does not manage to do, however, is to provide incentives for those who already know the originals well enough, for those players New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe will simply feel like a repetition of a previous experience.- FNintendo

Torna is a marvelous expansion of the no less amazing Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Adding to what the original game already does good, Torna manages to improve the combat system and acts as a very good buildup on the original game's plot. This is an especially recommended additional experience to those who enjoyed Xenoblade Chronicles 2, as it is designed to be especially appealing to fans of the original game.- FNintendo

South Park: The Fractured But Whole brings an amazingly accurate representation of the South Park universe to the Nintendo Switch with all the gems that the series is known for. The gameplay is that of a tactical RPG with countless character customization options and which will keep players entertained for a long time - thanks to the loading times, one can almost say the game's lifespan is extended.- FNintendo

The Banner Saga 2 is an interesting and varied game in the tactical RPG genre that comprises a visually stunning world and a great variety of environments. It doesn't fully supplant its predecessor, though, as it becomes visible that this second entry acts more like a bridge towards a next game and it sends off the idea that there's plenty of potential that should have been developed at a greater level.- FNintendo

The End is Nigh is an extremely difficult but well-designed challenge, one which will be sought after by those who enjoy games where the challenge level doesn't stop rising and where level design is refined. While the ending of each chapter may be less climatic than thought, The End is Nigh is a piece of gaming that is worthy of every attention.- FNintendo

Ironcast is an interesting, competent and addictive roguelike game that will be welcoming to those who enjoy taking a long look at their elements before they go into combat. It does suffer from its nature, as the random missions can harm the game's difficulty and after a while, a certain lack of variety starts to become apparent but the overall gameplay experience is worthy of note.- FNintendo

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate brings what is indeed the ultimate version of Monster Hunter to the Switch when it comes to content, monsters and maps, in what is an immense amount of things to explore. OlliOlli clearly stands out as a fun, addictive, frantic and extensive game, free from boasting grandeur but very involving nonetheless. The cross-buy possibility is another point in its favour and hopefully something that will become more disseminate in the future. It could have landed earlier on Nintendo's eShop, but this doesn't make it any less recommendable or fun.- FNintendo

Trine’s first entry is a marvelously-crafted mix of RPG and platforms which includes ingenious level design, a very attractive audio-visual component and a very captivating storyline. It might not excel as much as its sequel but it works as a perfect introduction to the series.- FNintendo

New Style Boutique 3 – Styling Star may not seem like it at first but turns out to be a surprisingly fun game thanks to its immense content and customization possibilities. While some of the dialogues can get too long and unnecessary and the game may leave out several segments of the audience, New Style Boutique 3 is a proposal that deserves some attention and dedication.- FNintendo

The Walking Dead comes to its conclusion and the final verdict is that this is a good ending, with an overall satisfying outcome to the plot, even with its occasional ups and downs. The final season is rich in emotive moments but quick time events are still too many and some technical issues need to be solved. That however does not harm the experience and The Walking Dead's wrap up fully deserves a chance.- FNintendo

Blazing Beaks can be best described as a roguelikegame that's full of mysteries and secrets, and one which works marvelously whether on a solo or multiplayer level. It also features a delightful looking art style, so its randomly-generated levels can be enjoyed thoroughly in all their glory. It's a game that works like a charm and plays like one too.- FNintendo

This War of Mine puts the player at the centre of an absorbing war environment and uses its original gameplay mechanics to present a series of intense challenges that will make anyone who picks it up embed themselves with the game up to a surprising level. While there are technical issues that should be corrected, This War of Mine comes out mostly unscathed in its role as a story of war and survival.- FNintendo

Yo-Kai Watch 3 is easily the best game in the Level-5 trilogy and one which makes it worthy to hold on to the Nintendo 3DS. While the game's main plot is hardly its most interesting asset, its top-notch technical execution, the amount of new content and the urge to explore its new locations all contribute to make this the finest game of the trilogy and open the curiosity for what the series still has to bring.- FNintendo

Blossom Tales stands as a good example at how a game with a rather simple origin can provide a surprising amount of content and a world to explore, even if it does not reach the monumental peaks it would like to. Thanks to its fine controls and gameplay and to the satisfaction of exploration, as well as to a visually charming outlook, Blossom Tales is a very welcome addition to the adventure and exploration games of the Nintendo Switch catalogue.- FNintendo

Telling Lies is not like most other games and while many could have easily ruled out games that make use of Full Motion Video, this work does a remarkable job at it. Thanks to its plot, a great actors' performance and good implementation of a touch-screen control system, Telling Lies will reward those players who will invest the necessary time and concentration to follow the game's plot.- FNintendo

Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! represent a different line in the Pokémon series. Reflecting a more accessible take, these two games make the experience more open to new players, while keeping several nostalgic and legacy factors intact for seasoned veterans. While not all is a resounding success, namely when it comes to its limited online component, uninteresting motion controls and an overall level of challenge that is below expectations, some of the games' new elements are more than likely to bring a fun, enjoyable time to players of all backgrounds.- FNintendo
