The Walking Dead comes to its conclusion and the final verdict is that this is a good ending, with an overall satisfying outcome to the plot, even with its occasional ups and downs. The final season is rich in emotive moments but quick time events are still too many and some technical issues need to be solved. That however does not harm the experience and The Walking Dead's wrap up fully deserves a chance.

Runbow is back to a Nintendo console and this edition for the Nintendo Switch brings a series of welcome elements, such as a simple but addictive gameplay, additional downloadable content, plenty of characters from the indie games world and online capabilities. While it feels too short when played on single player, Runbow is a very welcome arrival to the Switch catalogue.

Pirate Pop Plus is a fun bubble-popping game with a fun gameplay that manages to stand out from its similar counterparts and with a fitting visual and sound environment. Its lifespan might be put to test, as the game relies on customization to keep its long-term appeal but Pirate Pop Plus should easily find a spot with nearly any player.

PixelJunk: Monsters is a fun and accessible tower defense which successfully implements a user friendly difficulty curve and requires a healthy dose of strategic planning to advance. While some of its visual and audio components can become too repetitive over time, its lifespan and overall amusing gameplay will surely please both experienced and newly-arrived players to this style.

Dual Core is a competent arcade-style shooter that comes out on top when played on a local co-op. It misses out on the solo experience, as its one-player mode is far less fun and compelling than with two, three or four players, which only makes the lack of an online multiplayer mode more difficult to understand. Be as it may, Dual Core will certainly be a good choice for anyone eager for some fun and intense multiplayer shooting experience.

Despite a rather high selling price and the lack of a cooperative multiplayer mode, its gameplay and challenge level will keep the players around Toy Defense, its 72 missions and its toy soldier graphics for a long time.

Tappingo 2 is less of a follow up and more of an expansion of the original. While it presents a decent price/contents relation, its dearth of new ideas and frustrating controls will keep most of the public away. Still, for those who enjoyed the original and who are into a Picross-style of gameplay, Tappingo 2 can be a fun and entertaining choice, even if for a short timeframe.

While it may get repetitive at times, it's a pleasant experience that features an open world which can be explored in a fully non-linear way and ultimately, a welcome addition to the fast growing catalog of the Nintendo Switch.

While the game is still rather short and linear, its experience is fun and enjoyable, especially as Luigi gives it a whole flair of his own personality in a much welcome addition to the Nintendo heritage. Its motion controls need some improvement but this is a welcome return of one of the few games starring Nintendo's green-capped hero.

With a wealth of levels and plenty of incentives to get back to it, Gear Gauntlet ends up becoming too tough at certain moments, driving the players to the brink of desperation in a work that will deter the less experienced but satisfy those determined enough to push ahead.

Ironcast is an interesting, competent and addictive roguelike game that will be welcoming to those who enjoy taking a long look at their elements before they go into combat. It does suffer from its nature, as the random missions can harm the game's difficulty and after a while, a certain lack of variety starts to become apparent but the overall gameplay experience is worthy of note.

Praise for Level-5, as it was about time to bring Little Battlers eXperience to the European market. Its fluid and fun combat, along with the degree of robot customization will bring many hours of fun, which could only benefit from an online multiplayer mode and from a more elaborate plot.

Chicken Wiggle is a retro-styled 2D platformer, which is not the most original of concepts but it has a value of its own, especially when considering its online component and level editor, which do a very competent work at making this game a memorable experience. Despite the game's shortcomings, it still has a lot going for it, including its audiovisual component and a simple, intuitive gameplay.

Tesla vs Lovecraft is a surprising work that brings high-paced action and screens filled with enemy hordes, precise and simple controls, an immersive soundtrack and a solid four-player multiplayer mode. It may feel a bit repetitive on a short-term basis and have few online resources but Tesla vs Lovecraft has enough to be a very interesting experience in the catalog of the Nintendo Switch.

Blaster Master Zero 2 delivers a fun and challenging action game which nearly every player can enjoy. With its well designed levels and gameplay mechanics lying on a quality audiovisual environment, Blaster Master Zero 2 is a welcome arrival to the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

Disney Art Academy is a pleasant drawing tool that will surely appeal to a younger audience who recognizes the characters immediately. While the lessons do not go too much in-depth, they are well structured and the possibility of copying the works to the SD card will let the players' drawings be remembered for posterity.

Headliner: NoviNews puts the player in a newspaper desk with the power to decide which stories will be published and along with this, the responsibility of taking major decisions that affect other characters' lives. This is the major selling point of Headliner: NoviNews and at the same time, it's also what will put it off for other players who will find this concept less appealing. Nevertheless and despite some less enthusiastic aspects of this game, players who dedicate themselves will be motivated into taking this experience further and further.

Morbid details and shocking sights aren't everyone's cup of tea but for the players who are into horror, Corpse Party will be a blessing in the 3DS catalogue. Even if its gameplay will lose its effect after a while and become a bit repetitive, the game's dialogues, plot and audiovisual environments will keep the players focused for long periods of time, especially with the purpose of reaching that one good ending (which will require some effort).

Nine Parchments features fun and challenging combats, as well as plenty of options and an exquisite visual environment. Where it performs less well is on its level design, which feels rather bland, and on its plot and narrative, making this component a disappointment but one which still feels good to play and which can bring some hours of fun.

Hoggy 2 is the follow-up to a game originally developed for mobile devices and it keeps things simple with its short levels of puzzle-platforming gameplay, featuring accessible mechanics, plenty of content and a level creator. While it can get somewhat repetitive on a mid-term basis, it's a pity that there's no way for the players to share the levels of their own creation, as that would certainly boost its added value.

Just Dance 2017 keeps the tradition of being the best game in the dancing style. Featuring a new musical selection and the same upbeat gameplay as before, Just Dance proves that it deserves the recognition of being the best party game out there. For the next chapter, a renewal featuring brand new gaming modes would be very welcome, as keeping the same formula could start to become repetitive in the long term.

While the game's missions could be more varied and Project Nimbus could certainly use a bigger variety of vehicles, fans of games involving enormous robotic-like bodies will enjoy this work, even if few outside this niche will feel attracted.

Kick & Fennick is not the typical retro-styled platformer...it's 3D, for starters, and its jumping mechanics are anything but standard. Adding a healthy mix of puzzles and platforms, Kick & Fennick's Wii U adaptation is very competent, even if it's impossible to avoid a certain feeling of repetitiveness derived from a lack of variety in the backgrounds and goals.

Squids Odyssey is a fun, addictive and extremely challenging turn-based RPG with an action twist. Its difficulty level can prove merciless for those less willing to invest their time and energy, but the rewards are more than welcome in this well-designed and well-crafted piece of work.

Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaires' Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition, a very long name for a game that may not be the most ambitious in the Professor Layton series, or even an entirely new game as this is a remaster of a previous game with some additional content but that's not an obstacle for delivering fun and creative puzzles and a charming overall atmosphere. Its relative lack of enough new content makes this a more difficult purchase for those already familiar with the original game but those just starting in the Layton series will have a good, enjoyable and welcoming introduction.

Once set aside the easy temptation of comparing it to Angry Birds, Castle Clout 3D delievers what it promises in a varied way, even more so with two players. While there are several flaws to correct regarding the usage of the weapons and some camera issues to fix, this is a very entertaining and relatively long-lasting piece of work.

Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright could very well be an outstanding chapter in a series that is cherished for its narratives and gameplay mechanics. Unfortunately Birthright falls down before it reaches its goal. Its very good production values and sharp combats openly clash with an uninspired and dull narrative, poorly implemented difficulty curve, generic and empty characters and the simple fact that it just doesn't work as a stand alone game in the first place.

While it could feature more puzzles and there are some visible English language mistakes, this is a game that most fans of the visual novel genre will surely appreciate.

Sky Force Reloaded brings forth a good gameplay experience and a cooperative mode that works very well, fans of the 2D shooter genre will certainly find something that will entertain them here. Pity that compared to its mobile counterpart, Sky Force Reloaded on the Nintendo Switch feels way too expensive than it should.

With an emphasis on local multiplayer up to four people, this is an experience that will deliver a lot of fun, addictive gameplay to those who pick it up. While its content could be broader and the soundtrack could use improvements, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is nevertheless a good choice for those looking for a compelling multiplayer experience.

Thanks to its art style and original gameplay mechanics, Shadow Fight 2 has assets that allow it to stand out amidst its competitors, even if its audio component and story mode are disappointing.

Tennis in the Face is a game that was designed for short and fun gaming sessions. With plenty of action and bedlam, the game does its job, even if it doesn't innovate or break any new grounds. While it could have some more variety concerning the enemies, Tennis in the Face will keep its players amused for some intense sessions.

Star Ghost is a tough, demanding and visually outstanding shoot'em up that brings back score attack as the basis of gaming. While the mechanics mostly date back to other years' shoot'em ups, it also adds something new, as the players will have to adapt to their ship's automatic control mechanisms, which makes this appealing both for old school players and for those looking for new elements.

The Jackbox Party Pack 5 is a fun and memorable game that will get the players to contribute and to create hours of memorable moments. While the minigames involved often leave the feeling that something is missing, the game's nature and the way it is structured make it difficult not to enjoy it for its social side.

The Next Penelope: Race to Odysseus brings a very welcome mix to the usual racing game genre, presenting a wide variety of contents and a plot that acts as the thread for the races. Thanks to a simple and intuitive gameplay and to its challenging difficulty level, The Next Penelope only feels like it doesn't deliver when it comes to multiplayer, as it lacks an online multiplayer component, as well its short lifespan.

SNK Gals’ Fighters does a fine job at bringing back a 20-year old fighting game originally made for the Neo Geo Pocket Color, with all its features and limits. But even if the game has not been expanded to face up to today's offers, this piece of retro gaming has quite a charming appeal in its simplicity. If only its local multiplayer had been improved with the adding of an online component, that would have been even better.

Its journey, through a heavy, grey and gritty world, acts as a good example of how a dramatic connection between the player and the game can be achieved, and while the experience could certainly last longer, this is a work that will be very welcomed by players of all tastes.

Swords and Soldiers returns to a Nintendo console and the result is a fun and addictive effort that gains a new level of amusement on multiplayer, though it could really use an online component. Thanks to its well-designed strategic component and to its simple and accessible gameplay, Swords and Soldiers on the Nintendo Switch can be a very alluring and enjoyable experience.

Nintendo keeps using its legacy as a way to boost its presence and while NES Remix 2 does strike a chord with the nostalgia crowd, it also shows its limitations by not expanding the pool of challenges beyond that of the original title. For this reason and also for the lack of a real online interaction, Remix 2 does not stand out as it should.

Its functionalities, including the possibility to export the music to another platform and uploading the files to its cloud make it a practical and convenient application, whose limit lies only in the confusing and overwhelming interface that lacks any kind of tutorial or instructions for new users.

The first season of Minecraft: Story Mode is a good opener of what is to come. Despite a somewhat passive gameplay and some fluidity breaks, this is a pleasant and alluring experience that will appeal to players beyond the Minecraft fan base, with extra points going for the game's excellent voice work.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes follows the footsteps of Four Swords Adventures and brings forth a very well designed multiplayer experience, whether local or online, and a significant degree of challenge, even for experienced players. While it seems odd that a Zelda title dispenses with the eponymous princess and with Link, Tri Force Heroes does its job in an irrepressible manner.

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy is a fun, unpretentious and humorous game that features both combat and puzzle-solving in an Ancient Egypt setting. Thanks to its environment, soundtrack and enjoyable gameplay, the game provides an experience that can be appreciated by all looking for a good time.

Wulverblade is a welcome return of the beat'em up genre, this time accompanied by a plot that goes far beyond the genre's conventions and a unique art style that makes the game stand out among its peers. Also impossible to miss is its difficulty level, as it's going to destroy the chances of every player who is not skilled and determined enough to lose countless times before finally finishing the game.

ChromaGun may not have the most appealing audiovisuals but that doesn't mean it cannot provide a solid challenge to its players. Thanks to its very well implemented gameplay mechanics and good puzzle design, this will be a treat for fans of creative puzzle solving, even if its atmosphere is lacking and its difficulty level is not as consistent as one would expect.

While its lifespan and difficulty level could certainly use some stimulation, Blowout Blast is a fun and welcome action game that will please those who like a high-score challenge.

Horizon Shift '81 is a proper tribute to the 1980s-style space shooters, featuring most of the style's conventions and an assortment of contemporary add-ons that make it a very appealing game for hardcore enthusiasts. With its simple and intuitive gameplay, visual art style and customization options, it only lacks a multiplayer and an online component to tick all the boxes in the checklist.

Tappingo does its role and does it well. This Picross-inspired puzzle game is simple enough to understand quickly and to grab the player's attention for some time. It does feel a bit stripped, though, looking at the lack of contents beyond its main experience, with a complete absence of extras and additional modes.

Astro Duel Deluxe is a fun, retro inspired and pleasant looking space shooter that makes use of well developed local multiplayer modes, as well as catchy little details which make this a good element on the Nintendo Switch catalogue. It falls short in terms of content and if it had an online multiplayer mode it would certainly be much more appealing, as the one-player mode can feel like it ends too quickly.

Mantis Burn Racing expands the Nintendo Switch catalog on the racing genre and brings forth a fun and well-made effort, featuring an entertaining driving challenge, with plenty of content to explore and very detailed visuals. It doesn't avoid a certain feeling of repetitiveness but Mantis Burn Racing has what it takes to be a recommended racing game for the Nintendo Switch.

The result is a healthy, fun, welcoming and long-lasting blend which is certain to please the fans. It’s rather limited in its scope, though, and ends up falling on a certain mid to long-term repetitiveness.

The game features a pretty solid gameplay experience, a very good use of the HD Rumble feature and a remarkable amount of content to explore. Its roguelite component means the sections are always different, which can sometimes lead to errors in the procedure, and the exploration will force the players to use the map way too frequently but Sublevel Zero Redux has enough elements to appeal to both fans of the genre and beginners alike.

The new Just Dance 2015 brings what the audience expects: a large musical assortment, along with fun and creative choreographies. Where this game does not stand out is on its variety, as it lacks significant improvements and additions to its experience, possibly as a consequence of a release policy that produces one Just Dance title per year.

Like its name suggests, Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch intends to be the ultimate edition of the game that was originally released on the Wii U. This definitive edition certainly features several added values, including new maps and characters that make it a worthy game to look into. Where this definitive edition disappoints, though, is on its occasional performance issues when played as a handheld.

While it's not a groundbreaking moment for the 2D platforming genre, Electronic Super Joy is a welcome addition to the eShop which will be thoroughly enjoyed by its players.

Thanks to its visual environment and difficulty level, forma.8 will reward its players and keep itself fresh and interesting, even after long sessions of play. A challenging 2D exploration experience that stands out on its own merits, this is a game that deserves a fair share of attention from the public.

Ultra Hyperball is a fun and intense game based around the concept of hitting a ball as high as possible and it's fun and competent at that, both solo and accompanied. It does feel like it's price tag is a bit exaggerated for what it is but Ultra Hyperball keeps a good level of entertainment for a few hours.

Little Inferno exists in its own space and it certainly excels at that. The game's underlying critique of consumerism and of, why not?, the gaming industry adds to its unique charms and after the first minutes of play, Little Inferno turns out to be much deeper than what a superficial view could suggest. Pity that the game's length and selling price are disproportionate to its age and presence in other platforms.

Rogue Legacy comes with some good ideas that break away with some of the roguelike genre conventions. Its combat system is simple and fun and it features a progression system that can motivate players more easily to advance. While it still suffers from of the genre's ills and its difficulty level is not correctly implemented, Rogue Legacy has something that can appeal to fans of the roguelike genre and beyond, also thanks to its very good audiovisual environment.

GUNBARICH brings back the breakout genre that was so popular in the arcade halls in decades past. Loyal to its origins, this game brings forth a consistent and challenging difficulty level, along with frantic and unpredictable score-attack action, perfect for quick and very intense gaming sessions. Its only downside within its style is that it can become repetitive a bit too quickly.

7 Billion Humans brings a fun and very addictive concept to the Nintendo Switch under the guise of a game that runs the risk of looking dull at first but which will quickly reward its players with a varied, engaging experience. With a control system that favours the handheld experience over a screen interface and with a gameplay designed for one player only, 7 Billion Humans has more than enough to make up for these flaws with its amusing qualities.

The level editor is an excellent choice to add to the game and the possibility to download its version released for the other console upon purchase is a welcoming sign from Nintendo. It could improve, though, by showing more original content when compared to its predecessors.

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is an example of a game that's heavily based on its creator's views, and when said creator is Suda 51 the result can only be an effort of unique and eccentric details, with plenty of humour and challenging combat moments. On the downside, Travis Strikes Again features a level design that feels too simple and its combat can easily become repetitive, making it harder for outsiders to develop a taste for Suda's latest opus.

Defend Your Crypt is a well-designed real time trap'em all game where a progressive capture system will allow the player to eliminate as many enemies as possible to prevent their looting. It can get repetitive at certain moments but the trap system and the way further traps are unlocked will provide for some real moments of fun to the players who enjoy a good dose of real-time trapping of invaders.

Cat Quest II is an action RPG filled with fun and well-humoured moments, featuring a colourful world and with a simple combat system and even if some sections can get repetitive and there's not much to do after the main campaign is over, this is an overall relaxing and welcome game that only adds another fun option to the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

Simple but by no means empty, Inbento does not feature any major thrills or breathtaking ups and downs but it definitely provides a heart-filling experience, complete with kittens and a welcoming audiovisual environment.

Evoland: Legendary Edition plays like a kind of a museum on JRPG, an interactive lesson on this section of the gaming world which allows players of all levels of experience to enjoy. It might not have the most fascinating plot and the execution of some mechanics could certainly be better but Evoland: Legendary Edition is certainly a game to should go into the map of RPG enthusiasts.

Neo Cab brings a visual novel about a grim story of unchecked corporate power to the Nintendo Switch. Overall, the result is quite positive and the game features relevant social commentary, well written dialogues and a series of varied and interesting characters. With a good incentive for players to return to the game, Neo Cab's main sin is that it's rather short in length and with a main plot that could be more developed.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 deserves a lot of praise for its top notch humour coupled with references to fairy tales and contemporary pop culture, as well as for its defying (and frustrating) puzzles, well-written plot and art style. The game would rank even higher if it featured touch screen controls, a flaw that clearly stands out in a point and click game, and if its selling price was closer to versions of the same game in other platforms. Despite these factors, this is easily one of the most fun games that the Nintendo eShop catalogue has to offer.

Bow to Blood: Last Captain Standing is an interesting work that joins an action-based gameplay with roguelike components and some strategic decision-making as well for an experience that is ambitious but which does not quite fulfill itself entirely on this Nintendo Switch version.

Bulletstorm: Duke for Switch Edition follows in the steps of the remastered version of Bulletstorm and brings to the Nintendo Switch a visceral and fun FPS, with an inventive system and very competent visuals. On the downside, a multiplayer component is clearly missed and it could do much more for this edition of Bulletstorm but that doesn't make this game less worthy of a chance.

One doesn't require a fully-accurate (and serious) football management game to have a fun, involving and addictive experience, this is the overall message of Nintendo Pocket Football Club. Its own bright, inviting charisma and enthusiasm are certain to charm a great amount of players, and not for a short time given its long lifespan.

Raging Loop is a visual novel that stands out not just for its plot but for the way it is structured and how the player interacts with it. Some of the endings feel out of place and the game's art style falls short of expectations when it comes to the backdrops but the overall experience turns out to be satisfying and the game is crafted in a way that plays perfectly in the Nintendo Switch.

The LEGO Movie Videogame delivers what is expected: a good movie-to-game conversion, plenty of the series' trademark humour and a top notch soundtrack. That being said, several flaws remain, such as the lack of an online multiplayer, a low difficulty level and a short lifespan, liabilities which stand in the way of making this a universally-appealing title.

After previous chapters in the series, the Wii U gets what is so far the most advanced and richest version of Art Academy. While it’s certainly no professional design software, it has a good pace to its lessons and is set to appeal to the players who want to give a boost to their artistic aspirations.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is a good recreation of the famous movie world, with plenty of fun moments between the original cast members and a good variety of enemies to catch. The game's value starts running out soon enough, though, with its short main game mode and graphics which have few advances compared to the original game.

If fans of the Marvel universe will find plenty of reasons to enjoy this experience, other players might frown at the game's occasionally lagging performance, its too simplistic combat system and lacklustre audio component, which is not to say this is not an enjoyable and interesting game.

The game is less kind with newcomers and beginners, as it has very little in terms of tutorials and assistance for those less familiar with snooker but despite its somewhat robotic animations and limited career mode, Snooker 19 fills a gap in the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

A goose may not be the first (or second, or third) choice for a game's main character but a goose who engages in detestable pranks, now that's even more unexpected. That's what Untitled Goose Game does, and does it well. It's surprisingly fun to play heinous little pranks on innocent humans, especially with an exquisite soundtrack in the background. While the game is rather short and doesn't avoid some repetitiveness, Untitled Goose Game is certain to gain a (socially unacceptable) special place in the Nintendo Switch of many players.

The Last Remnant Remastered does a decent job at treating a JRPG from over ten years ago to the contemporary age. If its combat system remains one of the game's biggest selling points, the dearth of life throughout the game's world is one of the negative inheritances of The Last Remnant's original time. That said, this remaster is something that deserves attention, especially from fans of JRPGs.

Nairi: Tower of Shirin is an interesting point and click proposal for the Nintendo Switch, one that features a captivating art style, an involving plot and a fluid control system. Its accessible difficulty level and rather short lifespan make it more recommendable to those looking for a simple experience who will find many reasons to enjoy themselves with this piece of work.

Mega Man Legacy Collection is an invitation to explore the first six Mega Man games and it succeeds at striking a chord both with longtime Mega Man fans and with those less familiar with the series. As good as this compilation is, it could only be improved by fixing frame rate drops in certain busy areas and with more content, especially more games of the Mega Man series which could have easily been included in this title.

Pokémon Link: Battle! is a fun addition to the enormous Pokémon series, this time to its puzzle front. While it can get repetitive quickly, this game is mostly oriented towards short gaming bouts, as well as to local multiplayer sessions. The lack of an online component is a mystery, though. Fans of the Pokémon series and of puzzle games alike will find good reasons to put their hands on this.

Sky Force Anniversary may be arriving late and on the Wii U's last days but it still boasts a good gameplay experience as well as an enjoyable cooperative mode. Its rather slow start will be welcomed by less experienced players but longtime shoot'em up fans risk being put off. Overall this is an enjoyable experience, even if its soundtrack will feel too repetitive.

Star Ghost is a simple shoot'em up with a twist that brings a high quality soundtrack and some very polished elements to the Nintendo Switch catalogue. While it would be good to have online leaderboards, Star Ghost will satisfy the fans of the shoot'em up genre.

80's Overdrive is a fun and enjoyable arcade-style racing game that will certainly resonate with long-time fans of this style. Its main flaws lie mostly on the lack of a multiplayer mode and a gameplay that sometimes may feel a bit frustrating but overall, the experience is rewarding and well worthy of the player's time.

Mana Spark deserves to be treated as more than "just" an indie game. Its combats and tactical RPG elements, as well as its very alluring pixel art style and tough difficulty level put it on a threshold that will make veteran players feel the right amount of challenge, while perhaps alienating some of those who are less experienced. A game that will be appreciated by all those who enjoy a good challenge.

There is a certain feeling of repetitiveness in certain moments and the plot is mostly unnecessary, but those seeking a fun and fast-paced puzzle game will have their urges satisfied.

Pokémon Shuffle is a very addictive and well implemented puzzle game which is bound to be enjoyed by both fans of simple puzzle games and Pokémon fans. The micro-transactions scheme does need some work, though, and the waiting time is disproportionate compared to the overall playing time.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 brings Mario & Sonic once again to the next edition of the Olympic Games and the series' first game on the Nintendo Switch also means the return of motion controls, as well as a 2D retro-style section directed at the more old school demographic. The game's main plot is only available as a single player experience, which feels like a shortcoming but the game's new additions, events and minigames are certain to make for some very fun hours, even more so in the company of other players.

Bleed is short, simple and effective, full of frantic actions and challenging enough to earn the right to have the players' attention. While its price tag might seem too steep for a game that has been around for a few years now, the action-packed nature of the game, along with its variety make it a piece of work that is definitely worth checking out.

Deep Sky Derelicts brings a lot of things and two of them stand out: a roguelike approach to exploration and a turn-based RPG take on combat under the form of cards. Along with rich amount of character customization, this makes the game an enjoyable experience, but one that requires some time investment before it bears fruit. Some elements aren't very practical either when it comes to the functioning of the game, but more dedicated players will find their way around.

The Sexy Brutale is a witty, creative and inviting game that brings together adventure, puzzle-solving and repeating time cycles to form a piece of gaming that is as funny as it can be disturbing. While it could use less trial and error and its freezing moments are a bit too much, this is certainly a pleasure to explore.

Miitopia puts the player at the centre of a plot with plenty of possibilities to shape and mold according to each one's will and this is certainly one of the game's biggest assets. The characters' mechanics are also very well executed and will keep the player's interest sharp, even if it could do better at keeping the player's role more active throughout the game.

Its required use of a trial and error approach may put off some players and it certainly feels short for anyone completing it in one go but that doesn't harm this being a pleasant and amusing experience.

Bringing a 2D shooter into the contemporary world means that more recent players will get to experience a style that was extremely popular in earlier days, while more experienced players will get to add one more title to their background. Ghost Blade HD is visually stunning and jumps immediately into action, only falling short of expectation on its length and soundtrack but this is definitely a work that is worth getting hands on.

Nightshade adds another title to the visual novel segment of the Nintendo Switch catalogue and it stands out thanks to an involving plot with very sombre overtones, multiple endings, a good art style and exceptional voice work. Its occasional clichés are easily overcome in this work that is certain to captivate fans of the visual novel genre.

Race the Sun offers a simple yet addictive and frantic-paced old-school racing action. The level design fits perfectly with its style and the ever-changing shape of the levels in 24-hour cycles adds a very welcome touch of challenge. Shame for the lack of a multiplayer mode, given the means available.
