Test your patience through ever more punishing gauntlets while boosting, teleporting, reversing and rotating to survive. Use your reflexes to break through coloured barriers and earn your place on the leaderboard. Beautiful hand drawn art and a wonderful soundtrack accompany your descent into fury, but do try to keep calm!

    The fast-paced nature of the title and rapid decision making that comes with each movement or action is satisfying when you finally nail a run, though it's certainly challenging. If you enjoy fun but punishing games that can be enjoyed in short bursts, this may be one to take a look at.

    With a wealth of levels and plenty of incentives to get back to it, Gear Gauntlet ends up becoming too tough at certain moments, driving the players to the brink of desperation in a work that will deter the less experienced but satisfy those determined enough to push ahead.
