A great indie game. The fun that is created around this spectacular show of intergalactic ships will make us spend long hours playing the title. It is a must have.

Bow to Blood: Last Captain Standing is the kind of future sport I can get behind, with tons of style, plenty of bombastic airship action and an identity all of its own.

Bow to Blood: Last Captain Standing is an interesting work that joins an action-based gameplay with roguelike components and some strategic decision-making as well for an experience that is ambitious but which does not quite fulfill itself entirely on this Nintendo Switch version.

Although Bow to Blood: Last Captain Standing wasn’t for me, this certainly doesn’t mean it was a bad game. With a little more to offer with the characters, and some tweaking with the airships, this game could offer someone a unique battle arena experience.

For those players looking for something new and original, Bow to Blood certainly hits all those marks. As a single-player experience, it manages to overcome some of its weird quirks to be fun enough for an afternoon. It just needed a bit of polish to truly captivate.
