Storm: Frontline Nations delivers a solid strategic gameplay in modern era, with in-depth unit and territorial management. It offers a good alternative and a fresh twist to the Total War saga, thanks to a well programmed game engine and its turn-based battles.

In short, we believe that Shelter Generations can satisfy only and only those people who, not being able to count on other hardware other than Nintendo Switch, want to recover at all costs Shelter 2 and Paws, two extremely niche videogame experiments.

Lightweight, carefree and minimal, perhaps excessively contained and not always adequately focused, Desert Child is certainly an original and rewarding experience for those looking for titles with a high artistic and stylistic value.

Despite starting from truly intriguing assumptions, closely linked to a captivating aesthetic and a pleasantly grotesque narrative frame, the first DLC of Dead Island 2 does not add much to the proposal modeled by Dambuster Studios. Despite some occasional creative flashes, in fact, the expansion flows without leaving persistent traces, both on the playful side and on the purely narrative one. The potential was there, and we are sure that some will appreciate the "camp" drift chosen by the English team more than others, but ultimately Haus is a content that can easily be left out, waiting to see how the developer will complete the journey post-launch of Dead Island 2.

An unlucky product, born under a bad star, passed from hand to hand without anyone being able to fix it. A pity, but now that all the fears have been confirmed, we can at least look beyond.

Flint Treasure of Oblivion is a pirate adventure with a successful atmosphere and tone, full of visual details that make it more authentic than many other pirate transpositions. Interfaces, settings and costumes, equipment and objects, writing and texts contribute to this goal. The plot, on the other hand, is not among the most interesting and does not fully do justice to the importance of the protagonist: the legendary pirate James Flint from the novel Treasure Island. As for the actual gameplay, although the dice rolls liven up the turn-based battles a bit, in the long run they become repetitive at times and sometimes last too long. Ultimately, if you are a fan of the setting halfway between the epic and the crude, all shrouds, rusty swords and explosive barrels, Flint will fully satisfy you. Otherwise, both as a strategic RPG it is an enjoyable experience, but not very original or varied.

The usual Olympic "adventure" of Mario & Sonic is, as the previous one, a collection of minigames. Well: to be honest, is a collection of the same minigames we played 4 years ago. And the input detection problems are still here. Think about it only if you skipped London in 2012 and you are an old fan of Track & Field.

Adventure Island: The Beginning is a difficult title to interpret. It brings to the wiiware a good platform game with high difficulty level, but the sense of challenge decrease as we go forward in the game. If we add even some technical problems, we understand that this title do not fully meet the players.

It's a shame then that a lot is lost because of trivial defects: running rugged online functionality, unacceptable loading times (despite a noticeable downgrade of the technical component), but above all a really flat combat system, which makes it hard to withstand grinding exasperated certain phases of play.

Although it is legitimate not to sympathize with Metal Gear Survive, in short, those who decide to approach the title with an open mind will find a more than discrete survival, which could even improve in the event the support post-launch is decisive and convincing.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League could have been saved, in his evaluation, by the narrative plot: beyond the goodness of the writing of the protagonists, however, there is nothing else, because even the idiosyncrasies with the comic book counterparts they scream before the eyes of passionate readers. That should have and could have been the main target to address, but even the most ferocious enthusiasts would have found fault with this arid content proposal. Metropolis is bare, it is a desert which, although justified by the plot devices, is not sufficient for our gaming era. The missions are all repetitive, some suffocating the yield, even worse than what Insomniac tried to do with Mary Jane's stealth in Spider-Man 2. What remains to be saved are the technical profile, of an excellent level, and the gunplay, which is pleasant for who wants to shoot with little worry and blow up everything possible. But at this price, it is only worth it if the post-launch support proves to be of incredible workmanship, enough to overturn the table.

Stray Blade finds its ideal dimension among soulslikes for novices. The learning curve of the satisfying perfect parry and dodge mechanics isn't very steep and one way or another, escaping if necessary, you get to the credits in fifteen hours or so. The lore of the articulated world of Acrea is fascinating, the artistic direction that tells it panorama after panorama even more. Too bad that the fight animations are not the basis of an equally physical and engaging gameplay, which after a few hours begins to repeat itself in a very unattractive loop. If you are looking for a colorful and cartoonish action adventure, which soulslike only has the basic setting, however, you will not be disappointed. But don't expect anything else.
