Epic Mickey 2 is a good platform but not the ideal sequel for the first chapter. Great level design returns in this second chapter, but many problems in control mechanics and AI programming ruin every piece of the structure.

Alien Breed is still funny and able to captivate fans of science fiction and shooter, but unfortunately this remake is missing the innovative verve of the series, and proves to be poor and mediocre.

Ultimately, the HD remastering of The Legend of Legacy shows the same structural and content problems that plagued the original. It is a rather unique game that deviates from some classic JRPG styles to propose its own, very personal vision which, however, leaves out too many of the elements that have made this particular video game category great. We appreciated the work done on the visual component, but the disappointing narrative structure and the aforementioned critical gameplay issues do not allow the game to really stand out. If you are an avid fan of the genre and are looking for a project that is a little different from the usual, you could give it a chance, otherwise today's market offers alternatives of a very different caliber.

Wii Party has a lot of minigames and game modes, but it lacks originality, creativity and fun.

Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden recycles aesthetics and ideas from the two predecessors, and a bite-free storyline risks failing to involve players in the story of the warrior and her companions. They don't help overly abused clichés and an interesting, but underdeveloped combat system. The Beasts of Burden underestimates the players and could well be a good entry point for those not accustomed to the world of JRPG, but we would like to recommend it only to fans of Yoko Taro and the DrakeNier universe, who will be able to grasp references in the narration and in the settings of a title that, for the rest, is easily forgotten.

Digimon Survive is an experiment that is only half successful, as when determining the narrative and role-playing and strategic components of the hybrid, the developers have allocated insufficient space to the latter. The result is a dark and mature visual novel, which however we would like to recommend only to the most avid fans of the genre, due to the exhausting long-winded dialogues and excessive repetitiveness that characterize this type of product. If, on the other hand, you are looking for adrenaline and the collectible component typical of the brand, you had better turn your attention to the much more deserving episodes of the Digimon Story series.

Critical Hit Games' debut title is a graphic adventure capable of building a fascinating setting, certainly indebted to the imagery linked to the cornerstones of the genre, but with a unique personality thanks to the aesthetic and musical references to the United States of the 1990s 40. Nobody Wants to Die reduces the possibilities of its gameplay to the bare minimum, forcing the player to simply reach for the different indicators on the screen, to focus everything on a story that unfortunately does not develop in an orderly manner. A verbose exposition tends to dampen interest in a setting that would have worked better by leaving something to the imagination, while the plot finds complete meaning only through one of the four available endings, while the other three fail to fill several gaps in a slightly confusing script.

The main problem with this 2015 edition is the almost complete lack of anything new, from vehicles to locations. If you've never played the game, this might still be a good starting point, but you'd probably better stick with the 2013 edition, the most complete to date.

While moving beyond an artistic inspiration that clearly nods (and maybe even a couple of nods) to Cuphead, Acecraft doesn't break the boundaries of its free-to-play shoot-'em-up nature. The gameplay is simple and extremely intuitive, but it's also slow and lacks much depth or intriguing solutions, while the confusing progression system lives in the shadow of classic gacha progression: without real money, Acecraft feels diluted and uninspiring, but at least it's possible to play for long sessions without having to endure the usual ads that plague mobile titles.

As every "musou" game, Sanctuary Battle is dull and iterative. Still, you can play with every single character seen in the anime (yes, even with missing Gold Saints): discoverying their moves and made them fight each other in the mission mode is something that fans should not miss for any reason.

It doesn't get close to the stylistic perfection of the first chapters, and the control scheme isn't well developed as it should be. On the other hand, if you love the brand and have a Vita, this could be the chance to carry it with you at all times, although not in its best form.

Adventure Island: The Beginning is a difficult title to interpret. It brings to the wiiware a good platform game with high difficulty level, but the sense of challenge decrease as we go forward in the game. If we add even some technical problems, we understand that this title do not fully meet the players.
