It does so with a title that takes the most popular features of the J-RPG, amalgamating them with the intriguing vehicle system and dropping everything into a fascinating and picturesque imagery. The discreet, but not exceptional, bulk of content, however, lends a side to a technical section too old to be able to fully satisfy an audience of players who, just recently, has met some members of the genre much more sumptuous, profound and solid.

The title boasts a complex management system, but the superficiality and above all the linearity of the plot prevent Nelke's path from capturing the player's attention and holding it for the entire duration of the affair.

An enjoyable experience, essentially, especially for all the "devotees" of the reference genre.

The gameplay is mostly sound, but indeed too traditional. There's no support for online play either, so you're stuck with local coop. That, and limited replay value, make this a game just for hardcore genre fans.

This peculiar rhythm game doesn't offer much in terms of gameplay, but it's really interesting in design terms. A shame, because it could've been much more.

A game to consider, therefore, only if you are looking for a short trip to a colorful galaxy, lulled by the relaxing melodies of the Canadian composer.

The game presents so many good ideas and variations on the theme for each of the levels offered, but also some slippery too: the control system is not always reactive as it should, and some annoying bugs afflict certain maps making it more frustrating than the due, especially if we keep considering the inability to save and the need, in the event of a crash, to retrace entire scenarios from the start.

Short but intense, it's a perfect product for psychological horror fans, but everyone else might find it a little too light on the gameplay side.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is the perfect remake of the first two chapters of the series. While not adding anything new to the original package, Robomodo has successfully managed to reproduce the settings, modes and gameplay of a magnificent gaming generation.

The characters are interesting as usual, but this chapter feels a bit too slow and fragmented to really entertain.

The Lord of the Rings Return to Moria unfortunately fails to stand up to the sacred monsters of the survival genre. Net of the excessive presence of combat, a construction system that is not too successful and a technical sector that is not the latest trend, the Free Range Games game succeeds in its aim of immersing players in the magical world of the Lord of the Rings and guaranteeing them a few hours of fun, especially if in the company of a group of friends.

Firefighting is an unusual concept for videogames, and Flame Over tries to mix it with dual stick shooting. It's fun and engaging, but the lasting appeal is frankly quite disappointing.

Its most obvious faults, in addition to a limp writing and quests that are not always interesting, are all found in the problems that have also characterized Summerset: that is, a structured "campaign" to be enjoyed alone, as well as badly integrated with a game world populated by hundreds of people.

Metal Slug XX does not entertain as the past chapters. Without a brilliant level design, the SNK classic is just an old school scrolling shooter suitable for old time fans.

Battlefield Heroes is a casual gamer title. All the Battlefield series hardcore gamers will find this title pretty boring and poor of contents and tactics. But it's completely free-to-play, so it worth a try from everyone.

Age of Empire Online is the good old strategic game we all remember, with its infamous flaws we all remember (AI and pathfinding) and the free-to-play business model that hinders the overall experience in favor of Microsoft's easy cash gains.

Asterix & Obelix Slap Them All 2 takes up the strengths and critical points of its predecessor, because both in terms of visual and gameplay it has confirmed itself as an overly conservative sequel. There are some small but welcome improvements in terms of variety of levels but the experience is not characterized by particular creative flashes and in the long run it becomes repetitive. In any case, we are talking about a decent scrolling fighting game that is above all pleasant to look at, thanks to the successful cartoony presentation of the image. If you are a fan of Asterix and Obelix and have a friend to play it with, Slap Them All 2 could still be for you, as long as you don't expect an adventure driven by particular ambitions.

Sonic CD was a great game in 1993. Today we can't put two hands in front of our eyes and ignore its flaws. Sega does a great job in mantaining the same old running atmosphere, but are we sure that it can still give to a 2011 user what he wants?

After the excellent Monark, it seems that FuRyu is struggling a lot to hit the target. To demonstrate this, Aquria's latest effort has unfortunately proven to be yet another half-successful action RPG: a galvanizing combat system that pays attention to customization is counterbalanced in this case by a narrative structure devoid of character, a defeatist level design and, more generally, from a graphics sector that is a few generations behind. Add to the cocktail a limited longevity and the shortage of secondary content, and you will hardly be able to justify the outlay requested on day one by the publisher NIS America.

Take the Ninja and leave the Fruit and you'll have what this title is. No real innovations in it, but it's still fun to kill and dismember your enemy. And it's just $1.
