Super Mario 3D World is simply awesome. With this game Miyamoto has changed many elements of both the historical gameplay and level design of Super Mario, crafting a brand new but still nostalgic experience. Rayman Legends is still the best platformer available on Nintendo Wii U, but 3D World is a gorgeous runner up.

StarCraft II can be considered a refined version of its parent: so, despite the fact that perfection has been reached once again, we admit we expected a little bit more of innovation after 12 years waiting for this sequel. Anyway, it's a "must buy" for every RTS fan.

God of War is a masterpiece of storytelling, action and visual art style. Now that it is empowered by modern graphic cards (with fully customizable settings) for the joy of all PC users, there is literally no excuse not to play this title.

Despite a confusing story, The Phantom Pain is great game for everybody and a must-have for Kojima's fans.

Super Street Fighter IV is everything but a simple add-on. Capcom has done an excellent job with this game, adding 10 great characters, refining the overall gameplay and creating a great beat'em up. The online is fantastic, and if you have good friends to play with, you definitely MUST buy this game.

Forza Horizon 5 is undoubtedly the end of a journey that began a long time ago, culminating in the largest and richest chapter ever. Mexico shines and fascinates us, making the wonderful cars we drive even more beautiful.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an awesome dark fantasy game, with perfect storytelling, a beautifully crafted world and powerful characters. Due to the open world structure and its huge dimension, this game has some technical issues, yet the final experience is still one of the best around for RPG lovers.

Turn 10 did it again. Forza Motorsport 3 is a nearly perfect title, able to improve what Forza 2 did. The quality of the experience is at the top both for gameplay and contents and there is no other racing game at this level actually on the market. If you're looking for a masterpiece right now to put in your collection, Forza 3 is the answer for your prayers.

It's ironic that the real killer-application of this new generation of consoles is a remake. On the other hand, Demon's Souls is a masterpiece in pure FromSoftware fashion, and Bluepoint Games are absolute masters at their craft. The result of this equation couldn't have been anything less than a must play.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is a top quality game, the best one to celebrate the Dark Knight in a long time. You'll love it even if you don't like the character. If Batman is the reason you live, you can't ask for anything better.
