RPG Maker MV finally arrives on PS4 and Switch after five years its launch on PC. Chicory: A Colorful Tale is an indie with Zelda-like exploration and a lot of customization options. Its main gimmick, a brush to color the world, is fully explored. Furthermore, the game doesn’t stop at the concept but develops every implication of its new and experimental gameplay.

Black Book has an enjoyable and interesting history, unfortunately fluctuating in some passages. The card game mechanics are fun, but simplified and shallow. More could have been done!

Phantom Breaker Omnia is a fighting game from ten years ago and you can see it in every part. Although narratively and technically not interesting, it has heart and originality. The gameplay, accessible to all and well layered, saves the game.

MLB The Show 22 refines its legacy and its well tested game modes, while adding some cool new features like online co-op play. You can play addicting Dynasty Mode with one or two friends and, for the first time in the series, there is cross-play and cross-platform support. While not adding anything revolutionary, cross-platform is the major sell point of this year edition, helping to build one cohesive community.

Trivial Pursuit Live! 2 brings the classic board game to current and last-gen platforms trying to adapt it to digital universe through online gaming, achievements, character customization and Twitch integration. Despite some of these features are cool, the game falls short in offering only 4 local players support; most of all, it lacks of the Italian localization. If these omissions are not an issue, you could have loads of fun with your family or friends and followers online.

SBK 22 is the great return of Milestone in this category, with a good game in its structure and a driving model that distinguishes it from what has been seen in MotoGP. However, it is necessary to find a greater personality and above all, a greater variety in the contents.

NBA 2K23 is still the best NBA game on the market, only because there are no competitors. There are new fun game modes like Jordan Challange but the online component of all the game modes once again relies too much on micro-transaction. Being competitive as a no money spent player is too much time consuming, and worse than last year. Gameplay wise, there are some improvements but some ancient problems remain, like choppy shooting system and an AI that cannot defend against 5-out.
