    Paper Mario Color Splash is a colorful, funny and entertaining game. Nintendo has changed a lot of things with this franchise. The episode on GameCube is still the best one, but with Color Splash a lot of people will be able to have fun enjoying a great game, without thinking about 4k and mid-gen consoles.

    Mario Party Star Rush could be considered as a new start for the franchise, due to huge and deep changes in the gameplay. The turn based system is abandoned and makes room for a more dynamic and fun real time system. You can play up to four players and one copy of the game through the freeware software Party Guest, and multiplayer is really fun.

It’s a good game overall, but not the right one to celebrate Sonic’s 25th anniversary.

    Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet is a crazy Japanese mash-up between a fighting game and a bullet hell shooter. Its gameplay mechanics are pretty good, but the lack of a good color code for letting player recognize which bullets are good and which will hurt him when the screen is loaded with any kind of stuff, may hurt the experience.

    Obduction is the spiritual successor to Myst, and it offers all the stuff beloved by fans of that game, but with a refresh for the modern era. Puzzles are ingenious but can be frustrating if you don’t quickly understand their logic. There are some heavy technical problems that partly ruin game experience. Players who never played a game like this may be find themselves lost, but if you were searching for a game like Myst or Riven, you will be greatly satisfied.

    Pac-Man 256 takes the original mechanics adding something new to the series, never seen before. You will run through an endless maze, trying to escape from the assault of the Glitch. To make your way across the ghosts, there are 20 upgradable weapons to collect. It may look a simple game, but it hides a surprising depth, and it is really fun to play. Multiplayer co-op is really a blast, but the lack of online multiplayer is a mess.

    Starbound is very similar to Terraria, but bigger, more varied, more engaging. Recommended for sandbox genre lovers, thanks to a series of missions and a plot, that is the backdrop to the exploration of the galaxy, is also referred to those who have never enjoyed the games similar to Minecraft.

    I Am Setsuna is a huge throwback onto 90’s classic jRPGs, and it’s clearly and loudly inspired by Chrono Trigger. The battle system is deep and satisfying, the soundtrack is great and the storyline is interesting even if a little bit predictable. There are some frustrations in the farming system and loot crates. Furthermore, budget limits are evident in the environments and enemy patterns.

It offers some big time fun moments, though.
