The game is full of the little details that define greatness. If Warlords Battlecry II isn't one of the early leaders for real-time strategy game of the year I'll eat my magical staff.- Electric Playground

For those who like the unique challenge of timed racing and the strategies that off-road rallies require, Screamer 4X4 is a must have.- Electric Playground

The style of the graphics however, does not appeal to me, technologically impressive though they are. It's the same way I don't like jazz music, but I know there is good and bad jazz, and that it requires talented musicians to perform it, but the genre of music just doesn't do it for me.- Electric Playground

Even if Madden NFL 2001 weren’t the only game in town, it would still be one of the best football games ever.- Electric Playground

Its mists, textures, particle blood sprays and lighting make it the best-looking shooter on the PlayStation 2, and maybe even a competitor for best-looking overall game.- Electric Playground

One of the coolest things about Fable is how your character's abilities and appearance change based on your choices. If you've been good, you'll look pure and sweet and innocent. If you've been bad, you'll look like you're touring with Marilyn Manson.- Electric Playground

I'm hooked. It's been a long while since I found myself staying up until 3:00 in the morning for days on end. Come to think of it, the last time I did that was when I used to play "Starsiege: Tribes."- Electric Playground

Red Dead Revolver could very well be THE game to keep the Old West genre from riding off into the sunset once and for all.- Electric Playground

More of the same "get me outta this 'bot-infested labyrinth" madness that made the first two games so deservedly popular. But thanks to the latest tech, the 'bot-infested labyrinths of Descent 3 are more nightmarish and addictive than ever before. Don't even bother trying to resist it.- Electric Playground

It was a long wait for the sequel, but Pyro spent the time innovating a game that was already innovative to begin with. You're gonna love this one.- Electric Playground

Combining solid game play, stellar physics, and some of the most vibrant graphics available on the PC, Age of Empires III is the alpha male of the RTS pack.- Electric Playground

Even with the dark-screen frustrations and camera hurdles, Tony Hawk 2 is, without a doubt, the best interpretation of skateboarding ever created for a portable game system.- Electric Playground

Duke Nukem 64, while certainly not the fulfilling banquet that Rare's Goldeneye proved to be this year, is definitely meaty enough to fatten you up. Even if you feel like you're drowning in first person shooters these days, Duke 64 delivers enough innovative secrets and bullet riddled action to silence your cries.- Electric Playground

It's just so frickin' wild and cool. You can get whole forests to come to life and attack your enemies, build huge monsters like the Hydra (yes, it grows more heads as it takes damage), and pound the enemy city into a crater with meteor storms.- Electric Playground

Adds plenty to Diablo II, and not just a new episode. It actually changes the entire game from start to finish.- Electric Playground

Right from the opening strains of the song played in the opening movie, it's evident that Fallout 2 is going to be awesome. And it is. It perfectly recaptures what made the first so great.- Electric Playground

The game has plenty of swearing, and lots of gore. I like running around nearly dead--you leave a big trail of red wherever you go. Ok, so maybe it is over the top, but at least somebody still has some cajones out there.- Electric Playground

Everything that fans of AD&D have always wanted in a computer game. The only thing that will prevent it from being perfect for everyone is the very fact that it follows the AD&D rules so faithfully.- Electric Playground
