It's nice to see that Midway has really listened to video game fans in the development of Mortal Kombat: Deception. The game is a considerable improvement over "Deadly Alliance."- Electric Playground

The gameplay is truly a remarkable achievement... Aesthetically pleasing, lots to do, lots of options, lots of ships and weapons to buy, and a great story. Sounds good to me.- Electric Playground

Blast Corps is a cartridge worth it's weight in explosives. There's no game like this available for any other console but something tells me, we'll be seeing plenty of copy cats in the future.- Electric Playground

It is hideously complicated---and woe to the foolhardy player who does not pay attention to the game’s tutorials and attack-formation options---but somehow it works, and provides not only a stark, beautiful treat for the eyes but a staggering change to the genre of the real-time strategy game.- Electric Playground

Yes, there's a fairly steep learning curve, and yes, accelerated simulations such as "M1 Tank Platoon II" might look a smidgen better, but those are minor quibbles. If you like tank simulations, or have ever thought you might like tank simulations, this is the game for you.- Electric Playground

One of the truly rare games which induces that special kind of gaming exhaustion caused by sleeping two or three pitiful hours at night (while you dream about the game) before getting up to do it all over again.- Electric Playground

The graphics, the busy environments, the interactivity... every element taken by itself it pretty praiseworthy, stick 'em all on the same disk and they add up to good things.- Electric Playground

A few new weapons, a 3D take and cleaner visuals can't hide the fact that this is essentially five year old game play that Nintendo could have done in its sleep. Although I found Mario Kart 64 to be eminently playable, I just couldn't shake the feeling that it was a knock off of the first game.- Electric Playground

One nice touch is that "finishing" a mission is not necessarily the same as finishing it--any scruffy nerfherder can earn the game's bronze medals, but it takes a serious attention to detail (and the ability to succeed without overzealous use of the targeting computer) to earn Gold medals.- Electric Playground
