   This is without a doubt one of the best platforming games I have played in all my years of gaming. From the creators of Spyro the DragonThis is without a doubt one of the best platforming games I have played in all my years of gaming. From the creators of Spyro the Dragon (which is another great platform/adventure game) brings you two new characters, Ratchet who is a lombax and Clank who is a robot. The chemistry between these two are great and their voices are brilliant including clank my personal faviroute. There are other great characters too like Quark, Helga and Drek and their voices are good as well. Gameplay is similar to Spyro, you play as Ratchet mostly and sometimes Clank and your mission is too roam around and defeating all of Drek's minions who have taken over different planets as well as helping out friends who set out tasks for you. Once that is done you will be given coordinates to the next planet where you will fight your way through more enemies and bosses. There are also skill points which can only be earned by completing a secret challenge as well as gold bolts that are located in secret areas. Your first weapon is the wrench but you can buy new weapons from the gadgetron shops. You can get these by collecting lots of bolts which are found by destroying creates and enemies There are some really cool weapons like morph ray, devastator and RYNO which is a faviroute of mine. Ratchet has lots of cool moves and can collect items to perform new ones. Clank has some cool tricks up his sleeve too like a thruster pack, communicating with other robots and when he becomes a giant, then you just smash your way through everyone while blasting them with rockets. Graphically this game is perfect, each level has some amazing layouts and backgrounds from a great distance. Frame rate is fine and there is plenty of gameplay in this too, so you won't be disappointed. I can honestly say this is without a doubt one of the best platform/adventure games I have ever seen on the PS2.… Expand

I found Ratchett and clannk which is an awesome game. Can't wait to see what the other r and c games are like. Highly recommended.… Expand

   One of the best games in the ps2 10x as good as Sly cooper almost as good as spyro.

   Ratchet and Clank (2002) is one of my Favorite 4, THE four Ratchet and Clank games i love the most. The lack of strafing is honestly not aRatchet and Clank (2002) is one of my Favorite 4, THE four Ratchet and Clank games i love the most. The lack of strafing is honestly not a problem for me, though the control are abit clunky sometimes. And Ratchet is abit slow with the wrench. Clank levels are not the best, but they are so few so its fine. And i don`t really like the Hoverboard races.
   Other than that, this is an excellent game! The many lush and unique planets in this game are some of my favorite levels in video game, the atmospehere is perfect and the music is just perfect, props to David Bergaud. The branching paths makes exploration feel more real and the one of characters are hillarious. Not to mention the excellent comedy. Ratchet is such a fun character. He is not some boy scout who wants to do good and be a superhero, but a street smart mechanic who really just wanna do what he wants. Clank is more of the level headed one, but is also quite naive.
   A fantastic game with amazing planets, excellent music, awesome weapons and a interesting story. This game is so good its Qwarktastic!… Expand

   2 - (VERY BAD) These games are so bad they're insulting.
   3 - (BAD) Just bad. Game suffers from a wealth of problems in all areas, very few redeeming qualities.
   4 - (MEDIOCRE) A game that has its fair share of serious problems with a few glimmers of quality sprinkled throughout. More than anything it's forgettable.
   5 - (OKAY) For every positive this game has there is just as many negatives. You may be able to find enjoyment in these games however you will likely be met with equal amounts frustration and disappointment.
   6 - (GOOD) There is a decent amount of fun to be had in these games albeit with a few noticeable drawbacks. Worth checking out at some point especially if on sale.
   7 - (GREAT) A game that has some flaws but all in all is a great game worth every penny of its purchase price.
   8 - (AMAZING) Game of the year contender only allowing for some minor flaws.
   9 - (SUPERB) One of if not the best game released that year, truly special.
   10 - (NEAR PERFECT) One of the best games ever made.… Expand
