Taito, the company ultimately responsible for the game, didn't steal from us, the spell system is engaging, the battles are amusing and the Wi-Fi battles are enthralling, making for one truly unique game experience. It's too bad that the graphics and sound are something out of a Game Boy game.

The fact is, since you never get to control the camera angles, every time you pass a certain spot in the game you are viewing it from a different angle. What I am getting at is, you never get any sense of where you are in any given area because you’re always given a different angle to view it from.

A game with a severe identity crisis. On one hand, it strives to be an incredible role-playing experience; on the other hand, it attempts to lure gamers in with the promise of old school shoot'em up action. What it delivers is an amusing amalgamation of both worlds that is cleverly designed so that neither aspect overwhelms the other.

Yet another disappointing rally game, and yet another example of lazy developers cashing in on the PSP's architecture. [...] Alas, the game comes out maintaining only one real feature of its bigger brother: the damage engine. Everything else — from the sub-par graphics to the horrible control — takes away any possible enjoyment you could get out of this game.
