Overall, it's a bit of the same old with a few more bells and whistles.

Geist is a game that has some really well executed and original gameplay ideas only to get hurt by some technical issues.

Ys Chronicles is an excellent gaming history lesson that will grow on you, should you allow it. However, this game simply isn't made of the same stuff that Felghana and SEVEN are. It feels antiquated and old-hat, but give it a chance, and you're likely to enjoy it.

With improved visuals the game has been somewhat brought into the 21st century; however the lack of a multiplayer mode is somewhat disconcerting in this day and age of wireless capabilities.

Sadly, while King of Fighters XII shows shades of brilliance now and then the game manages drops the ball a few times too many.

With great graphics and addictive gameplay Sega again shows why they are a leader in both the arcade and home videogame market. The only real problem here is that this game has to be played with a light gun.

Guilty Party is an excellent game and boasts solid graphics along with some great voice work and sound effects, but to be forced to play Story Mode to unlock the much more entertaining Party Mode is a downer.

The only noticeable downfall to this game was that the sharpness of the PSP's screen (usually a very positive thing) overly emphasized some of the weaknesses in the graphics engine while the sound was noticeably toned down from the PS2 version.

A bit too simplistic and lacks in replayability. Unfortunately there is also no multiplayer option, but the smooth graphics and unique elements to the game may redeem this.

Mercury Meltdown Revolution is a great puzzle game for the Nintendo Wii. The use of the Wii-remote is so natural it is a wonder that this game was not released any sooner.

The level design itself is great, with many different types of levels providing different challenges.

As a Nintendo gamer I am glad that this Nintendo system has earned itself a ‘true’ Dance Dance Revolution game, even if I was a bit disappointed with the Wii specific controls which I disable every time I turn the game back on (I am not sure why the game was designed to not save that setting).

Alpha Protocol, for the most part, can be a somewhat enjoyable game. The storyline was great but the notable issues like the voice acting, less than spectacular graphics, and frustrating glitches, really bring this title down a few notches.

The graphics and sound are 100% authentic and the gameplay is perfectly in sync with the game strategy and layout giving the gamer a true Futurama experience.

Created by a veteran team of designers from various development crews, Nostalgia for the DS shows that they know exactly how to squeeze the most out Nintendo’s handheld system to bring us a game that is not only fun to play, but pleasing to watch unfold too.

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 for the PSP is a game that most action fanatics should enjoy.

Fans of Lego games and the Dark Knight alike will likely enjoy Lego Batman for the DS as it is an enjoyable game for those on the go.

In the end I was satisfied, but this could have been so much more.

The game succeeds in generating some excitement (especially in multi-player mode) and executes well on most levels. Still, if given a choice I'd lean more to "NBA Live 2001," which for the moment, at least, retains its title as the number 1 basketball title to buy.

Everything improves slowly, and so those who do not possess patience should find another outlet. Only the most patient and capable of leaders will emerge as the supreme ruler of the planet.

Overall, The Godfather II is a decent game and was an ambitious undertaking by the development team.

Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic is a $10.00 downloadable game that gets most gamers a good looking eight stage beat-em-up that has some similarities to Little Big Planet.

Although Baja: Edge of Control is a pretty standard off road racer, it takes enough risks in its gameplay to a make it a very solid title.

From the cute visuals, upbeat sound, and somewhat addicting gameplay, all that is offered on the DS card is well worth the 20 or so bones you will pay to experience this game.

The best way to describe The Biggest Loser on the DS is as a weight loss and healthy eating tool. I found more value in the calorie counter, calculator, and recipes than I did the exercise portion of the title.

The gameplay might be a touch linear but it is still, and most importantly, a whole lot of fun.

Konami has done a very good job in creating another cool and likeable hit for kids with a Wii.

Compared only to PS2 racers, Test Drive Unlimited is a really impressive title, worthy of a purchase. The content is deceivingly deep and the replay value for fans of the title is excellent.

Tangled is a great title for the whole family, specifically the younger crowd who will definitely want to play this title after a trip to the movie theatre.

Still, the replay value is excellent, and the game is that good mix of simple to learn, but hard to master that will keep people coming back.

Those new to the Guitar Hero experience may want to look to other versions of the game for a deeper and longer lasting experience.

As a single player experience SOCOM 4 is a decent game. That being said, there is nothing really new here, but if you're craving a tactical shooter experience on the PS3, or are simply a fan of the series, I don't think you can go wrong.

For those new to the series the deep RPG play will hook you for at least 30 hours or so and the on screen sights and sound get the job done.

THQ has done a pretty good job at brining the whole WWE experience home once again.

This version of WDL is definitely a great improvement over the Psone's, so if you love battle tank games or just blowing things up then give this one a try.

While Kirby Squeak Squad doesn’t really revolutionize the franchise it still does its job of adding a few new elements to the entry platformer for the younger crowd (or those young at heart).

Overall, this title is another great party game title that fans should consider adding to their collection.

Backyard Football '10 is a game that is meant to be a very simple affair allowing kids to enjoy a little pigskin on dad’s Xbox 360, or their own should they be the primary owner.

While the Pokemon series of games and anime is not my preferred style, there are some cool aspects of Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia that I enjoyed.

The best part about this title is that if you have ever dreamed of creating something for a video game, or thought that you would have done things differently in one if given a chance, Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter will fit your bill.

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue will most likely appeal to a younger crowd with its cutesy feel, fashion focused item collection and the majority of its quick and simplistic mini-games.

Such things as clunky control, the hit and miss graphics, the relatively short time to finish the game, and the need for a little more tweaking on the overall implementation of a great idea really hold Odama back.

While Ninja Blade holds some very cool gameplay elements, the dumbed down boss battle system needs work. The overall fun factor is lost with the system and some gamers may baulk at the mundane and sometimes tedious gameplay.

I think most gamers will fall in love with The Maw’s charm and simplistic gameplay.

Overall this definitely isn't a bad launch game for the 3DS, it is just that the lack of any multiplayer and recycled feeling does take away from what could have been.

Overall this game is fun, but unless you are a die hard High School Musical fan, or did not play the first Sing It!, this might not be a title you may just want to rent.

Unfortunately, Dragon Age II feels like a filler title to get from Dragon Age: Origins to Dragon Age III and to somewhat satisfy fans in the meantime.

The graphics are however, pretty good, the sounds are great and the gameplay is also pretty good.

Excite Truck does a great job of showing what Nintendo set out to do when developing the Wii and its innovative controller.

With vibrant colours, decent sound and a new control scheme for the PSP, this portable version of this series will keep gamers busy for awhile.

Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 is a short but fun ride.

For those who have lots of playtime with Zuma, or a Zuma-like game, in the past you may want to wait for a price break on this game as you have played it before. For those new to this style of game, welcome and enjoy your time with it.

Lionhead Studios tried to do some new things with this RPG, but, unfortunately they didn't quite make the impression that improved the game.

In many ways Wolfenstein is like watching your favourite hockey team make the playoffs only to lose in the first round.

In terms of Need for Speed Nitro, it is not perfect but it certainly is a base for EA Montreal to build upon to give Wii owners a truly compelling and unique racing game exclusive to Nintendo's home console.

Some things bothered me though. Firstly is that the dance pad moved around while you were playing and this would eventually lead to missed arrows.

This is a must have for your next social game night and a great addition to anyone’s party game collection.

Child of Eden is one of the most unique games you will play on the PS3. The addictive gameplay, vibrant visuals, solid sound and challenging level designs all make for game PlayStation Move owners should strongly consider. Just be aware, it is a short single player only experience that does not offer up much in the way of replay value.

Overall, The Tale of Despereaux for the DS is perfect game for those younger and somewhat experienced gamers who loved the movie and own a DS.

Perhaps five years from now a greatest hits game would have been more appropriate but for now diehards may just want just pick this one up as an extended rental.

A title that I had no idea would be so addicting. The graphics and sound are definitely basic, but it is gameplay that makes this title what it is.

The learning curve is higher than some gamers may want.

The campaign is simple and has many technical issues, however overall this latest version of the SOCOM series is a nice new twist to a workhorse of a franchise.

Camp Rock: The Final Jam follows the story of the movie pretty closely; however, there are some specific things that are not included or properly explained, and as a result it might be a good idea for any fans to watch the movie prior to playing the game to get the full storyline.

At the end of the day though, fans of Bond and the original GoldenEye from the N64, looking for some Bond action on the run, should give this game a serious look.

Consider it as a stocking stuffer for the PS2 holdouts in your life who haven’t gotten around to next gen yet.

Overall, Child of Eden is a strong title for the Kinect. It features some unique gameplay, solid visuals, excellent sound and is a game that can be highly enjoyable in short bursts. That being said, the game is short and the absence of any multiplayer modes hurts this title somewhat. When you consider Child of Eden's price tag, it is a game that is not incredibly deep and perhaps should have been left as an Xbox Live Arcade title for the Kinect.

If you are looking for the next great next-generation racer then Ferrari Challenge: Trofeo Pirelli is not quite it.

Aside for the difficult perceptive due to the lack of a better camera system, Aqua Aqua deserves more good points than bad.

Although there are some short comings in this latest game many diehards of this series can overlook this, but newbies to the series may be turned off.

Overall, Dance Central has all the necessary ingredients to make a fantastic dancing game. Fantastic tunes, slick looking visuals and an enjoyable experience for all, pretty much sums up Dance Central. This being said, Dance Central is light on features, offers up no single player story mode and a 32 songs out of the box is simply not enough in this day in age. So to say Dance Central has a lot of room for growth would be an understatement.

I can only hope that with advent of Revolution, as well as the DS solidifying itself as a innovative portable machine, that future releases of this fan favourite will finally advance beyond its staple gameplay and provide those who want to hunt Pokémon with a new style of play along with all new looks.

While 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand is an adequate shooter, it can get fairly repetitious quickly.

I know I'm not great at this genre, and I think it's my lack of skill, not the game. 1C always pour in the details and expects you to give back the same effort to succeed. However, it'd be nice if the game accounted for people like me! Men of War: Vietnam is a very full game for a bargain price.

At the end of the day Section 8 is not that bad of a game, but it is just that it isn’t a great one either.

Aside from being a really challenging title, Hard Corps: Uprising is also beautiful and a pleasure to look at with its highly detailed graphics.

Tinker Bell and The Lost Treasure is a perfect game for young girls and fans of the last two Tinker Bell movies. The game looks great and plays fine, but is awfully short in length of play.

A significant leap from last versions of the franchise.

Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands for the Xbox 360 is a good looking game and fans of the franchise who enjoy the Prince's high flying acrobatic moves will undoubtably enjoy this entry into the series. Unfortunately, the combat in the game is less than stellar, the camera seems to have a mind of its own at times, and there is a "been there and done that" feel to the game.

Prince of Persia for the Xbox 360 is a pretty game and features many enjoyable and death defying moments. However, the combat controls suffer, the story is uninspiring, and the game is far too repetitive for my liking.

With much improved graphics and shooting, and the inclusion of commentary, this game has made some positive steps forward. However AI issues still manage to stop this game from making even more progress.

Oblivion is good, but it's a flawed good. It's a different experience in many ways to previous Elder Scrolls games, but, at the same time, it's still the familiar world Elder Scrolls fans know and love. It has the usual kickass story, but the difficulty curve is a bit wobbly, to say the least, and, in general, it's a story of give and take.

Smash Hits for the Wii pays great homage to Activision’s Guitar Hero franchise.

Overall, FaceBreaker KO Party is step in the right direction and is perfectly suited for the Wii.

I think that hardcore gamers will love the challenge and will most undoubtedly revel in the thought of out powering enemies with great strength.

A good game with a great concept. I just can't get over the difficulty of the movement simulator. It is the main cause of frustration with poor implementation.

It is shallow, but it is a party game meant for four players to have fun beating each other senseless (in the game of course).

Visually, Monsters vs. Aliens is a solid looking game and features some of the best looking Dreamworks animated characters experienced on a next-generation console to date.

Even though some things were annoying or repetitive it is still a good game. As far as graphics, sound, and gameplay I was quite pleasantly pleased.

It is a decent game with many strong points but some of you more seasoned gamers won’t have the patience for Barry and his Bee buzzing ways.

Definitely a pretty game to look at. Unfortunately some noticeable control issues and the distinct feel that it was rushed out door for the holiday season hamper what could have been a very rewarding experience.

So is RACE Pro a Gran Turismo or Forza killer? Well no it’s not, but when you take a look at one cool hard fact, and that is the budget cost of the game, I can honestly say RACE Pro is great bang for the buck.

Hard core space simmers will be turned off by the arguably slow action, but the more "I'm the captain" trekkies might like the added options for controlling your ship.

Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice is solid game for the PSP and it is a fun little game for gaming on the go.

Overall Pain is a very addictive game that not only looks and controls well, but it also demonstrates how the Havok physics engine can be utilized for some pure gaming craziness.

After three years it is my honest opinion that Sony’s series needs a shot in the arm to take it to a new level as there are still some computer AI issues that need to be worked out.
