From the get go Kung Fu Live doesn't take itself too seriously and it pays off. A unique take on motion control for Playstation gamers allows the player to not only be actually in the game, but makes it playable without a controller in hand.

And even though there are some hiccups to be found (e.g. the 3D levels lack of oomph) I had a real great time playing Nintendo’s latest addition to the Mario universe.

The single player mode is engaging and the multiplayer mode is much better than I expected. Yet at the end of the day, Crysis 2 arrives in a market saturated with shooters and I question whether it has the stamina to go the distance. Sure it's fun and has some unique elements, but sorry folks, the 'wow factor' is just not there for me. Unless you are a fan of the franchise, I recommend you rent this one first.

I have to admit that I had high hopes for Homefront. So the question remains, did it live up to the hype? Overall I would have to say yes, but there is a caveat here; don't expect it to be the best game ever. The story is solid, and there are some great turning points in the plot, but it just comes to an end too quickly.
