Lock's Quest for the Nintendo DS combines the right amount of story and battle driven gameplay to satisfy most gamers.

Crackdown 2 does not stray far from the formula that found success in the first game. but therein lies its biggest flaw, it does not offer enough new stuff.

From the solid graphics, superb sound, to the engrossing single player experience and the well implemented multiplayer component, gamers will find a heck of a lot to like here.

For those of you that like "eye candy," look elsewhere. For those that like to play a space sim with simple controls and just enough reality (aside from space ships that burn forever), then Star Shatter is for you.

The core of the 2K series lies in gameplay and 2K7 really excels in this department.

The gameplay is great, the story is interesting, and the online functionality is superb.

All in all, MVC 3 is a highly enjoyable game with plenty of replay value. While some Capcom characters are noticeably absent from this title, the ones you do get to play with are a blast and only enhance the Marvel vs. Capcom experience.

Overall, Red Faction: Armageddon is a game that grows on you. The more you play the more you really start to become immersed in this alien rich world where everything is destructible.

When everything is taken together Mario Kart is definitely another must buy game for Nintendo’s innovative system.

Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades is the second time the franchise has made it to the Nintendo DS and overall it is even better than the previous instalment.

Simply put, no game creates a better sense of atmosphere than Bioshock 2 with a really top notch story and some great visuals and sound too.

With great graphics and instant playability this game's overall score is only slightly hampered by the vehicles floaty feeling, some minor frame rate issues and a lack of racing in an online mode with other players on the same track at the same time.

If you can get past the learning curve then you will surely enjoy the game. Expect to be frustrated at first, especially because the moves are often hard to pull off.

Although Gran Turismo 5 Prologue was released as a small taste of what is to come in the final version of GT5, this taste is definitely more then just a small demo.

The multiplayer action is not worthy of the title multiplayer, but the single player mode is a great activity to keep the little ones happy.

In closing, though nothing can compare to a real life pet, if your children have been begging for a new furry addition to the family, this game may be a good test to see how long they will stay interested in caring for their new friend.

It boasts some very intelligent design concepts and the game was definitely well tested before it hit the stores. SC has an excellent replay value and anyone that likes theme park games should go out and buy it. It's well worth it.

The graphics may be of a lesser quality and the frame rate may not be as stable as on a good PC system, but as someone who doesn't give a whit about graphics and only mentions them for the sake of completeness, I can say I would vastly prefer the PS2's increased ease of use over the PC's unbelievably difficult interface.

With solid graphics, sound and story, and some darn addicting but tough puzzles, this adventure style game is great title add to your DS collection.

As with the Xbox 360 version, the PS3 version of Legends of WrestleMania is a really entertaining game. Sure, it may not be the deepest game out there but the over-the-top graphics, solid sound, and the simple gameplay all manage to recreate some great WrestleManias of past.

Sin & Punishment: Star Successor's brilliance is in its simplicity.

Ultimately I felt Disney Sing It: Family Hits should have been the first title released in the Sing It series as it is an excellent representation of Disney Magic at its best.

What the developers took from the storyline, setting and combat style exhibited in the graphic novels created an amazing arcade fighter and fans of this genre should take the time to play through it.

Metroid: Other M represents both a return to form for the Metroid series and an evolution of it at the same time. Save for the occasional directional hiccup, the hybrid first and third person viewpoints actually work very well. Combine this with the excellent narrative and well rounded gameplay and Metroid: Other M is a worthy purchase regardless if you're a casual or hardcore fan.

de Blob 2 has a unique look and its addictive gameplay makes it a title well worth checking out regardless of your demographic.

NHL Slapshot is a game that any sports loving fan who owns a Wii should try.

The Bigs 2 offers an enjoyable and arcadish take on baseball. It may not offer enough depth for purists, but for players like me, that like a little bit of arcade fun mixed in, it delivers in spades. A worthy sequel this game is indeed.

The biggest question on everyone’s mind at this point should be: “Is Guitar Hero: Metallica worth the $50.00+ price tag?” Simply put, if you are even a casual Metallica fan, and/or have enjoyed playing through previous instalments of the Guitar Hero franchise, then this game is right up your alley.

I can't help but be amazed with what Nintendo can do. They utilize innovative technology and combine it with great gameplay, good sound and good graphics to generate a great sequel to an already good original game.

With enhanced, but somewhat dated graphics, solid sound, and some great God of War gameplay, you really can't go wrong picking this one up. The cheaper price is even more of a reason too as $40.00 isn't that bad for all the gameplay action you'll get out of it

In terms of control, the pitching in MLB '07: The Show seems to have gotten a lot of attention.

After spending time with Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection, I would have to say that this is some of the best virtual pinball that I have ever played.

It's by far the greatest WW2 game to date and it will be so for a long time.

The humor and voice acting are at the very top of any game list and make playing MDK2 an absolute pleasure.

Battlefield 3 is clearly a winner when it comes to the online first person shooter experience. The depth of unlocks and vehicles is astounding and you just can't find it anywhere else. Red Faction: Guerilla is a really enjoyable experience and one that gamers should not pass over during the summer months. With good graphics, good sound, and some great single and multiplayer gaming, one can’t go wrong buying this title.

Overall this title offers a lot in single player and multi-player area and does the RPG dynasty justice keeping fans happy and busy until a new Dragon Quest title comes along.

Glowfish is beautiful and, more importantly, requires strategy to tackle the stronger enemies. Even while requiring some thought, Glowfish can easily be understood by a new gamer, providing a lot of fun for everyone.

Real time strategist or not, if you are a Halo fan you owe it to yourself to play Halo Wars, it just may change the way you look at the series.

EA Sports Fight Night Round 4 stands as arguably the best boxing game available on next generation consoles.

Overall, the Captain America table is quite solid. Those who are fans of Captain America, or who are fans of Pinball as a whole, should be happy, as this is another great table to keep their pinball flippers flapping away. In a pinball simulator this is pretty much a perfect scenario, and one can only hope Zen Studios will continue to create more quality tables in the future.

Far Cry 2 is an incredibly deep game while the online component, including the ever so popular map editor, is truly a treat.

ModNation Racers is a great addition to the world of kart racing with the full support for a robust online community.

Hardcore RPG/strategy gamers should love Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. Along with some stylized visuals the game has simple and streamlined gameplay including very basic control which really makes the game easy to pick up and play.

Overall the transition from third to first person is smooth and the on-rails gameplay really helps to make it a mature title as it captures the visual details that Dead Space is known for.

This is the future of driving games, folks. The environments go on forever, they are rich with detail and they are realistic. The sound effects are great and the music is good too.

The game is an amazing visual feast with some excellent gameplay which most gamers should at least try as if they don’t them may be passing on having a chance to experience something truly great.

If you don’t have it and you own a gaming console then get it.

Super Mario Sunshine plays pretty much like it's 64-bit predecessor and controlling Mario has never been easier.

With very stylish graphics, funky sound and some very addictive gameplay, this game is great as is. The addition of multiplayer only adds for a better package.

Although the graphics may not be spectacular, and the sound is less than should be expected, the game more than makes up for it's shortcomings by being undeniably addictive and fun to play.

At the end of the day both veterans of the series and newbies alike will enjoy a round or two of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09.

Fans of the LEGO series are in for another treat with LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, as they have a new and enriched world to explore with all four movies included on the disc. I loved playing this latest LEGO game and really enjoyed the straightforward approach and the simpler puzzles that kept me venturing through. The comedic tone to the game is exactly what I expected from this title and it keeps the game family friendly and available to all ages with puzzles to solve, great gags to watch, and some addictive gameplay including two player co-op.

The all new draft and practice modes allow the armchair coach and manager in all of us to experience the pressure of running an NHL hockey team.

Return to Dream Land is yet another Nintendo title that should be bought by all, as it is a worthy holiday release for the Wii console indeed.

Sure, it is not one of the most original, nor the best looking FPS to hit the market, but it is a great looking launch title for the PS3.

While King Of Fighters XI is somewhat average in the graphics department compared to other fighting games of the modern 3D era, it makes up for it with refreshingly and uniquely refined gameplay.

The game will be forever known as an arcade treasure in years to come with its stunning landscapes that will send many racers around the world to find and to drool over the cars they wish they could have.
