Platform Jumper doesn't bring anything remotely new to the table, nor use the Wii's controller to the fullest, but it does provide a fun platformer for the younger crowd to get started with, and the rest of us to enjoy for a few hours.

Rhythm Paradise is one of those games that makes you grin unwittingly. A lovable bunch of characters, a top notch sound track and addictive gameplay all blend together to create a game that, if you're a fan of music games or anything slightly off-centre, must be experienced.

Therefore, whilst admittedly still lots of fun on the whole, the overall experience is somewhat lacking and ends up feeling quite shallow.

Excellent pointer controls, iffy motion controls, and a script and setting that meshes together old and new sounds great on paper/screen, but shelling out 40 pounds for it will leave you feeling short-changed.

Broken Sword was a classic over a decade ago and remains so today, despite many pretenders to the adventure throne appearing over the years and a few games actually surpassing Revolution Software's title.

It's strange to see an 18 rated title on DS (and it certainly earns it), but Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars fits into the library well and should be seen as something approaching an essential purchase for owners of the system.

For Harvest Moon and Rune Factory fans, Frontier proves to be one of the best titles console titles in years, with pretty visuals, decent voice acting and as usual plenty of things to do.

While there's depth in the action there's not a lot in the single section to keep your attention for more than an hour or so in one sitting.

MadWorld definitely earns its place as one of Wii's must-have titles and completes a trinity of hugely enjoyable, quirky, mature titles on the system that don't forget what games are all about, the other two being No More Heroes and The House of the Dead: Overkill.

A fun, new, interesting experience that separates itself nicely from the rest of the crowd with the use of the Book of Prophecy.

Pikmin proved to be quite a revelation when first released, and its charm is not only still there today, but magnified by the inclusion of some very intuitive Wii Remote motion controls and a few other extras to keep fans happy.

Those gagging for Tennis action, or something that offers a little more than Wii Sports, should consider Nintendo / Camelot's effort as one of the better sports titles out there.

On the one hand it looks and sounds fantastic, features plenty of nods to previous Sonic games, and is even fun on occasion. On the other hand, however, it's hindered by flaky controls, level design that is excruciatingly irritating at worst and insipid at best, and a sword mechanic that simply doesn't meld well with the rest of the action.

A bit of a mixed bag really. This is a game that tries so hard to be sweeping and epic and whatnot, but just ends up being laughably predictable and generic.

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon is another quality addition to the series, but it doesn't feel as good as the latest installments because it lacks refinements made to the formula.

Nintendo was wise to enlist CING once more for this second edition of Another Code as the developer has taken the best elements of both its previous DS titles, Two Memories and Hotel Dusk, poured them onto the Wii and mixed in a whole host of clever extras that make this by far the most enjoyable adventure for Nintendo's home console so far.

Whilst it's good to see a decent forgotten game given a second chance in the modern day market, it is a shame that the original flaws weren't ironed out for this revision.

Big Bang Mini takes the shooter formula, shakes it around and serves up a definitely triple-A piece of gaming goodness that will test gamers to the maximum.

Telltale Games and the Chapman brothers have ended the first Season of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People on a major high, with this last episode proving to be the wittiest, most engaging and laugh-out-loud hilarious of all five outings.

For a first effort on Wii, Red Fly Studio have put forward a great little title.
