After wowing the crowds with the first four episodes in the Tales of Monkey Island, Telltale Games has rounded off the series with a hugely enjoyable adventure in Rise of the Pirate God. A fitting climax to a gripping five-chapter story arc.- Cubed3

This is the type of title that the console has needed since launch, and should be in any player who loves fighters or all-out action's collection. It's easy to pick up but hard to master, and it's all rounded off with beautiful presentation and a stylish flair.- Cubed3

With AiRace: Tunnel, QubicGames has successfully transferred what looks to be a test project into a thoroughly enjoyable twist on the standard futuristic racing genre, deftly mixing in a puzzle slant and adding in enough challenge to easily warrant to 200 Nintendo Points asking price.- Cubed3

This digital download version is as cheap as it could be on DSiWare and is the perfect solution for on journeys or just when killing time in general.- Cubed3

The guys at Q-Games have out done themselves once more, surpassing the brilliance of Art Style Intersect with a retro chic strategic puzzle game that will leave players dreaming of neon coloured rockets night after night, once finally being torn away from their DSi systems.- Cubed3

The Magic Obelisk is a truly wonderful puzzle experience that eases players in, challenges veterans further into the game, offers up an intriguing variety of characters throughout and wraps everything together in a gorgeous visually and aurally pleasing package.- Cubed3

Nintendo's attempt at a non-violent shooter in 530 Eco Shooter is successful, with core gameplay proving just as fun as many arcade shooters that focus on gore. However, the price point is too high for such little content.- Cubed3

It may not be completely flawless, but The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is definitely one of the DS 'must own' titles of 2009.- Cubed3

Pop Island is rather like a multiplayer battle-only version of Mario Kart, but with crazy animal characters instead!- Cubed3

Worth considering for young Avatar fans, and obsessed cinema-goers, but everyone else can safely leave this one for nature to envelop. Or the bargain bins, whichever works.- Cubed3

Telltale Games is definitely on a roll, with Episode 4: The Trial & Execution of Guybrush Threepwood not matching, but actually surpassing the previous three chapters overall in order to help continue the great revival of the Monkey Island brand.- Cubed3

The game does have some potential to host a well rounded sandbox experience but fails through what seems like an experimental, first-stab-at-it approach with little in the way of refining and testing.- Cubed3

Junior Classic Games knows its target crowd, and yet does as much as it can to stuff things up for them. Youngsters will get a kick out of their first forays into popular paper games like Hangman and wordsearches, as well as the different animals on show, but there is nothing here to keep them playing beyond the initial try or two.- Cubed3

It may not live up to Super Mario Galaxy in some people’s eyes, yet when it comes to good, old fashioned platform action, Shigeru Miyamoto & Co. have conjured up quite the treat.- Cubed3

Style Boutique is enjoyable, though does not last long - although that may partially be because it is quite addictive. It can be repetitive but you are always able to create different styles for each customer. Recommended to any budding fashionistas out there!- Cubed3

Sticking close to a tried and tested formula, The Next Chapter refines what the first Drawn to Life brought to the DS, yet doesn’t solve the all-too basic platforming issue, only makes it more diverse.- Cubed3

2D games are enjoying a resurgence on Nintendo's home console this generation, and with its unique premise, Drawn to Life could have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with them. It's unfortunate, then, that the series' transition to disc has brought about new problems that have, if anything, made the basic platforming ever more apparent, and made it rely even more on the editing tools, which cannot hold the rest of the game up.- Cubed3
