Despite a rather cutesy (albeit gorgeous) exterior, Lock's Quest offers a surprisingly deep real-time strategy experience.- Cubed3

Strong Bad’s first videogame adventure definitely proves to be the perfect game for not only long-term fans of the online web episodes of Homestar Runner, but point-and-click fans that enjoy a weird sense of humour and zany puzzles in small doses.- Cubed3

SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 is a solid collection that features some fantastic Neo-Geo titles (Metal Slug, Shock Troopers, Last Resort) as well as some not-so-fantastic ones.- Cubed3

Final Fantasy IV is still a cult-classic, even after all those years, and it should be highly recommended to any fan of the series and/or the genre.- Cubed3

By sacrificing and tweaking a number of the more niche aspects of the roguelike genre -- but not so many as to dilute the experience irrevocably -- Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon delivers an experience that is true enough to its roots to appeal to longtime fans, but also fresh and inviting enough to please newcomers.- Cubed3

Actionloop Twist translates the addictive nature of the Nintendo DS game perfectly onto Wii, implementing a clever motion-control mechanic that makes for some very fast and frantic gameplay.- Cubed3

It does have some nice ideas, but it only executes them sort of well and then pisses all over them with terrible gameplay mechanics, a camera that is surely the spawn of Satan and graphics that look like someone excreted them. Avoid.- Cubed3

While not without its flaws, Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift is a truly excellent turn-based strategy title.- Cubed3

Quite obviously rushed through development in order to come onto the market at the same time as the film, this is sure to be another movie-to-game bargain bin dweller in a few weeks.- Cubed3

Lego Indiana Jones, while extremely competent, isn't quite as exciting as Lego Star Wars was simply because it feels like we've been here before.- Cubed3

If you've got three enthusiastic mates, preferably each willing to chip in for the game, then there's a lot of fun to be had here. But, for most people, it would probably be cheaper and easier to stick with plain ol' Pictionary.- Cubed3

It's got all the components you could ever ask for in a Dr. Mario game, and the inclusion of Wi-Fi and Wiimote modes gives players a few decent options when approaching it.- Cubed3

Nintendo Presents Crossword Collection is a fine product that will appeal to puzzle fans all over, throwing enough crosswords, wordsearches and anagrams at players to keep even the brainiest of DS owner occupied for quite some time. Sadly there are a few elements missing that prevent this from becoming a must-buy title.- Cubed3

Mario Kart Wii is definitely up there with the other installments. A fairly limited single player appeal is enhanced by a comprehensive online service and a slightly toned-down but throughly enjoyable and flexible offline multiplayer mode.- Cubed3

But the eclectic mix of a new take on traditional RPG values, thoroughly modern settings, a funk-filled soundtrack and a completely unique battle mechanic pays off considerably, making the venture one that should not be missed by fans of the genre and newcomers alike.- Cubed3

It's definitely not on the level of the 'big boys' of music games, but with a better budget, more time and more effort, there's something lurking under there that has potential.- Cubed3

Younger players might get a kick out seeing their favourite Pokemon in a new light, but others should probably stick to 'purer' roguelikes like Shiren, or more standard RPGs like the core Pokemon titles.- Cubed3

Baroque is an odd one, even by roguelike standards. It has all the elements of the genre that will put off 'regular' players – random dungeons, deadly difficulty spikes, loss of items and experience on death – but it also suffers from technical shortcomings that even roguelike fans won't enjoy.- Cubed3

All this time on, and the House of the Dead games are still more than worth a play. However, if you have previous versions of them already, you may be best steering clear as this compilation offers practically the same experience only with a couple of extra modes.- Cubed3
