To get started, you'll line yourself up for a photo - positioning your head and hands as instructed so that your body can become your means to control the madness. You can choose from four game modes to play, each mode featuring five different challenges and hosted by different characters. Whichever mode you opt to play, the fact that it reflects the personality of your host is a guarantee that things will get crazy! In Wario's challenges, you'll have to make big movements with your face and body to succeed - perhaps collecting coins or shaking your head at high speed to dry off a dog! Mona’s mini-games, on the other hand, will require you to line yourself up with targets on the screen. You might have to move your head into place to catch a falling hat or squash a fly just by clapping your hands. In Jimmy’s challenges, you'll play peek-a-boo with a baby, stick fingers up nostrils and dish out a quick massage just by performing the right actions. The remaining set of mini-games are hosted by ninja twins, Kat and Ana. This duo know the value of good friends, which means all their challenges require you to have a sidekick handy.     The camera minigames are a lot of fun and that fun is enhanced with the payoff of the snapshots that have been taken during gameplay. It's a huge letdown that you can't save these snapshots, however, and hopefully Nintendo will let the team finish what they started so that gamers can send their wacky photo sessions to their friends.

    WarioWare Snapped! might have set the bar for DSiWare, but it didn’t set it incredibly high. The amount of time it takes to set up the camera usually outlives the amount of time that can be spent with the game, and the limited number of microgames included is regrettable.

    Even with some nice ideas and the same crazy and funny atmosphere of the WarioWare series, Snapped feels nothing more than a tech demo that shows what DSi can and cannot do.

    It's a WarioWare game and it works with a camera, so it may pique your interest at first. However, it's very short, it won't let you save your goofy pictures or videos, and it's tough to make it work!

    The camera-function almost doesn't work, there's always something wrong with the light or background or whatever. you don'tThe camera-function almost doesn't work, there's always something wrong with the light or background or whatever. you don't really hold on till the game begins, because the setting takes too long and that's annoying. the mini-games itself is fun the first time, but get boring quickly. the movie shown at the end, made out of pictures of the player is fun though. but that's not enough. i'm happy that i got that one via my free nintendo-points. wouldn't have wanted to pay for that. it really should be included as a free game or kicked out/improved.… Expand

    More often than it should, this game fails to recognise my head and hand movements, even in a well-lit room. When it does work, it provides some entertainment, but I really can't praise a game that has a troublesome setup and not many microgames to play anyway.

But there are only four themes, each with five minigames that always appear in that theme. Warioware snapped attempts to use the potential of the dsi camera to play the games. To win each game, you may need to move your head in a particular way, or your hands, for example.
    This had potential for a lot of fun, but is bad for these reasons: to set up each round takes a very long time for the camera to recognise you actually exist. Also, whenever you lose a minigame, it's down to the camera's bad eyesight, not your lack of ability. But the thing is, these minigames are so easy and simple, only an idiot could possibly lose them- unless the camera messes up, which is often. You may need to wave to someone (wow, I can wave my hand!), or eat the food by chomping your jaw up and down.
    All of the minigames are pointlessly easy, and I think Nintendo meant that to be the case because there is no high scores, and once the five minigames in whatever category you chose are over, that's it. The minigames are so few they are not randomly selected. At the end of each game, the video of you doing these actions is shown ,with photoshopping. It can be quite funny, but if you 'lost' a minigame, this appears broken. Also, the videos aren't even saved.
    I would not go as far as to call Warioware Snapped a game. It's not even a tech demo, as it constantly fails to see you. This sort of thing can be played more reliably on a computer, with actual fun.    … Expand
