WarioWare Snapped! might have set the bar for DSiWare, but it didn’t set it incredibly high. The amount of time it takes to set up the camera usually outlives the amount of time that can be spent with the game, and the limited number of microgames included is regrettable.
-
WarioWare: Snapped! is great fun with friends, but can be difficult to set up and offers little value for money.
-
Even with some nice ideas and the same crazy and funny atmosphere of the WarioWare series, Snapped feels nothing more than a tech demo that shows what DSi can and cannot do.
-
WarioWare: Snapped! does make for a great tech demo, though. It's pretty crazy that you can do all this on a handheld, and it's goofy enough that you'll want to show it to your friends.
-
Therefore, whilst admittedly still lots of fun on the whole, the overall experience is somewhat lacking and ends up feeling quite shallow.
-
Official Nintendo Magazine UKWhen it does work, Snapped! is a really fun experience, if a little short. [June 2009, p.87]
-
WarioWare Snapped! is like buying a Lamborghini with a bad engine. The game looks super slick and proffers a highly amusing time when running, but more often than not, never gets started because of under-the-hood problems.
-
It's a WarioWare game and it works with a camera, so it may pique your interest at first. However, it's very short, it won't let you save your goofy pictures or videos, and it's tough to make it work!
-
It's fun for as long as it lasts.
