The lack of depth may hurt overall sales but in my opinion it increases the fun ratio to equal that of a great, arcade racer.

There are plenty of fun movie-inspired platforming levels, and the unlockable multiplayer modes certainly add some replay value. If you or someone you know loves the Ice Age franchise, then this game will certainly please fans without giving them too much of a challenge.

Approached with the right attitude this game can be a lot of fun as well as a great learning experience.

There’s one important thing to note before going into Get Even. While the initial game download is a mere 500 Wii Points, it only contains two areas and a boss battle. To get access to additional areas, you’ll have to shell out 500 additional Wii Points each for three add-on level packs. Each offers a new ship, new objectives, and new levels.

It's a decent little game but without a four-player mode it's only half as fun as it could be.

Men of War: Vietnam is made for a niche audience: hardcore RTS fans who are looking for a great campaign. Given that limitation, the game is exceedingly well-executed, offering players a total of ten long, interesting, and challenging missions.

There aren't as many games here but since they are more involved they last longer than five seconds.

If the fate of most badly designed games is to suffer an excruciatingly slow end by falling on their own swords, Mytran Wars is so awful it doesn't have a sword with which to end it all, and it is instead forced to starve to death.

It's mindless repetition, frenetic gameplay and attention deficit visuals is the epitome of shallowness and yet the involving storyline contradicts everything that's happening onscreen. It's a paradox. A dichotomy. Ah, whatever it is, it's a hoot while it lasts.

It may be a great GBA game but it should have been completely overhauled for the PSP, to the extent of creating another sequel in the series. What you're getting here is a game where the expiry date was written over with, "Coming Soon to the PSP."

There's a lot of value, with 100 puzzles and three skill levels, but the game isn't very fun to play.

A game of insane length. Soul breeding gives infinite room for replay value, but just getting through the first time can actually take up the entire life span of a normal human.

Beatmania is dated. It could have been released on the PSX and we could all be over with it by now.

Overall, March Madness 08 is a pretty good basketball game. The problem is that it isn't the best basketball game available by far. It can probably easily claim second best, but College Hoops is a much better basketball experience.

I expect only hardcores and nostalgic gamers to truly enjoy the game. Everyone else will probably play it a handful of times and set it aside.

Fans of the original material will obviously get the most out of Crimson Elixir, but due to the stylized look and easy to pick up gameplay even newbies to FMA will find a lot to like. Its biggest flaw is the short length but it's definitely fun while it lasts.

Rent it, play it with your friends, and see what you think. I'm not saying you can't have fun with Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 if you're in good company, but you'll probably agree with me in that the mini-games are a little weak.

The in-game graphics aren't amazing but they are very good, almost comparable to the movie but certainly not as good.

A good game for those that like to be in on the ground floor. It's unique in that you can build your own playable shooter, so to speak, but the gameplay is just average. Still, the combination of creation and shooter may be irresistible to some.

The duo appears on a next-gen console, fully rendered in digital animation - and looking somewhat the worst for it. Mix in some average platform gameplay elements and you have a disappointing game.

There's not a lot of depth to it and the gameplay is repetitive but it's still a whole lot of fun and there are enough distractions to keep you entertained and interested right until the end.

A great concept but suffers from being too simplistic overall. If there was a little more attention given to making the game longer, and perhaps a little more challenging, this would have been a worthwhile title. But as it stands, this title just ranks about average.

If you enjoy platformers and want to go on the cheap, this is a game packed-full of original levels and fun gameplay. Plus, it offers co-op.

After you liberate the island and eliminate the dictator, there is simply no other reason to put the disk back in your system. The island looks pretty and there are plenty of attractions to see, but once you spend a little time there, you are ready to leave.

A solid add-on expansion that offers a more puzzle-oriented twist on the series' interesting blend of gameplay and extends the adventure by a few hours. It's a decent way to wrap up the Penumbra series.

The problem with a game like SOCOM is that it can't fully commit to either its tactical roots or the more action-oriented demands of industry trends-the result is less interesting than the sum of its parts.

The story is rich and engaging, but gameplay is little more than a chore.

With four different modes and the twists that can arise from simply using different weapons and power-ups, you'll likely get more than your five dollars out of this one.

The online trading will allow you access to Digimon in both the Dusk and Dawn version. If you're a fan, expect a lot of game.

The one thing that you have to take into account while playing this title is the natural progression of the franchise. Opening it up to more comic book-focused storylines, allowing players to decide the outcome in various interesting ways, increasing the combat to make it enjoyable and easily accessible to anyone, and, of course, giving fans the Black Suit to play around with all do this admirably.

Panzer Tactics offer a great turn-based military combat alternative to the popular Advance Wars series. It's light years from having Dual Strike beat, but some players will surely appreciate - and perhaps even prefer - the more serious tone and realism of the historical battles in Panzer Tactics.

The biggest pitfall. There's just not a ton of stuff to do. The challenge mode and match mode might be decent for a family game night, but they won't last beyond that. You could power through them in a short evening.

At this point, Mega Man doesn't even have the credibility of Yu-Gi-Oh, in my opinion. If you can't resist purchasing one of these games, do everything in your power to resist buying both of them.

Ultimately, Alien Breed 2: Assault is a decent addition to the Xbox Live Arcade Lineup. While there isn't much here in terms of innovation, Assault is a solid isometric shooter that offers fun for fans of the genre or a person looking for a simple shooter with a buddy.

The dramatic backstage elements were too lethargic, but the Road to Glory mode offers a great reason to keep improving my custom MyPlayer’s craft. There’s still some fine tuning needed in the animations and general visuals, but the overall feel of a faithful WWE experience is absolute and worth the ticket price for any dedicated fan.

Regardless of Rhapsody’s shortcomings, the game manages to offer an enjoyable and very funny experience; none of it makes much sense, but then, it’s not really meant to.

Slow and steady exploration will keep you on the edge of your seat and progressing upward for some time.

While this game can be very slow-paced, it does have good entertainment value. And as tedious as this game is, it can actually get pretty hectic as you defeat armies of soldiers, archers, and larger enemy bosses wearing a good amount of armor.

The PSP version includes a four-player multiplayer mode that lets you compete against other players. It's a decent addition, but the novelty is short-lived.

The game is one-dimensional though, and you will become bored quickly. Level design is mediocre and the lack of any single player mode makes the game feel unsatisfying.

The appeal of this game is that it's different every time. The unappealing aspect of this game is that it's played the same every time.

Despite the variety of options there's just not enough variety in the gameplay. Much of it can be attributed to the nature of the sport itself.

It's challenging and there are strategic elements that rival that of Fire Emblem but it fails miserably to capture the essence of the Rings movies. Basically it's a generic turn-based strategy game using the Rings in the same way that kart racers attach to various franchises.

It's not unplayable but it will require more work than necessary to compensate for the shoddy technical flaws.

The concept of Technic Beat is simple but the gameplay gets more and more convoluted and complex with each level. I was just over halfway through the game when I met my Waterloo.

Control freaks need apply. UFO Aftershock may be sluggish in pace but there is lots to ponder like a good game of chess.

It all comes down to the basic fact that a work of art, created specifically for a mature audience, should not have been forced to compromise the way that this game has been. Gamers who have been waiting a long time for this game to come out, or even just gamers in general, should definitely stay far away from Manhunt 2. While it is definitely not the worst game I have ever played, it is definitely one of the biggest letdowns.

It would be hard to recommend Marvel’s Avengers to anybody who is looking for a rich multiplayer experience. Despite being a live-service game, this is no Destiny. But Destiny was also pretty sparse when it first came out. There could be a lot of quality content in the game’s future, and it does seem that the developers want players to stick around for a while. There is a slew of post-launch content planned, after all. Spider-Man, who will be exclusive to PlayStation consoles, isn’t even due out until 2021. It is difficult to imagine what is meant to keep players grinding from now until then. The game is amazing for a weekend, but for several months? For the moment, it seems unlikely. Hopefully that will change.

Frankly, quite a few of the early Warner Brothers cartoons were incredibly violent, racist, and inappropriate for the young audiences they were geared towards. However, when you weed out the offensive or mediocre content, there's some good material to be found there, and it's these quality moments that make it into the game.

If you are looking for a title to suck up about 15-20 hours of your gaming life, then where better to look than the title that really sparked the life sucking genre of RPGs.

My World My Way is definitely not going to win any awards for being complex or deep. However, this title has earned a special place in my heart because of its tongue-in-cheek story and fun, simplistic gameplay.

It is the very first 3D Spider-Man game on a handheld system and it looks amazing. It looks even better on the PSP due to the small screen. Gone is the ape-like out of disproportionate Spider-Man from the console game sequel and in it's place is that high gloss crisp well put together model from the original.

EA has made some great strides in the right direction with March Madness 07, but when it comes to being able to hit the clutch shot in overtime to win it all, March Madness 07 falls short.

I would definitely recommend this title to those who haven't had any experience with the series, as it is a great standalone title. But for those with a passion for x-cross who have already experienced MX vs. ATV, this title may not be as unique of an experience as they might want.

You can't help but love this game. Even if you're not at all interested in bikes, boards and inline skates, there are enough levels, modes and objectives to interest virtually all gamers.

Good, simple baseball is fun for parties and special occasions, though it becomes a bit repetitive when played solo for extended periods of time.

All told, the Orochi Saga collection is a hands-down worthwhile buy for longtime fans of the series, and a toss-up for newcomers.

I do hope to see Phoenix eventually make a worthwhile appearance on consoles, one that lives up to the great legacy the series has now built up for itself. This one, though, isn't a crowning achievement for Capcom, and throwing your money at the game will probably only serve to send the wrong message to the publisher.

Turn off the sound and you'll enjoy yourself a lot more. Whether you rent this game or add it to your collection, you're guaranteed to have a ball with it. Pun intended.

With a lengthy, compelling story, a variety of endings, and a number of optional activities to engage in, Growlanser is a meaty and fulfilling JRPG to play.

The idea is great, but there's not a lot to this game yet.

For a licensed game, I think they've done a very good job of creating a unique game experience that stays in step with the source material while creating a new enough experience to make the game fun. Plus the Allspark Wars function is awesome!

The inclusion of both Ys I & II along with multiplayer functionality gives players a good bit to wade through. Although, the simplistic action-RPG mechanics aren't compelling enough for a second playthrough, even though multiple difficulty levels are offered.

Those thinking the little blue guy had nothing left are sorely mistaken, as he does serve up a pretty good game of tennis. Fans of either classic Sega or Virtua Tennis will immediately feel comfortable with this title and find more than enough to satisfy them. Others may become bored with the repetitive mini-games.

The game action is repetitive and it doesn't deliver a great experience overall. I would call it a game for enthusiasts of the genre. The rest should be prepared for frustration and a lot of dust-biting.

Despite all these flaws, the game has character. More character and charm than most games with nearly perfect gameplay. If you're into a good story with interesting characters and plenty of puzzles and action, then Galleon should serve you well.

The tried-and-true formula is executed almost flawlessly, but there isn't any innovation to speak of.
