Spike Chunsoft learned something from their previous fighting Shonen game, J.Stars Victory Vs+. Albeit One Piece: Burning Blood has many similarities with this, in the end the focus in the aspects like haki and the abilities of many Devil fruit users benefited this title to the point of becoming something predictable. Despite its many noticeable failures, this is one game that fans from the manga and anime will truly enjoy.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst is a good try to expand the mechanics that were introduced by its predecessor, but some technical issues like poor graphics and a flat level design prevent the game of becoming a much more enjoyable experience.

Albeit really simple and easy to learn, Pokémon Rumble World is a game that quickly turns in something really monotonous and predictable. We can deny that its charm is something that will captivate many Pokémon fans but, after a few hours of gameplay, we felt that we had seen everything it had to offer.

The third installment of the this new Hitman is by far the best one yet. Its great level design makes it a must have to every fan of this type of game.

The first 15 minutes looked promising with an interesting combat system sealed by the Platinum Games experience, the rest of the game is half cooked with random, repetitive and boring elements that leaves this new Turtle’s adventure as a game that you will not have to play.

Finally, Blizzard has a brand new franchise. Overwatch is a brilliant FPS based on heroes. It's competitive matches with tons of adrenaline, makes it one of the most enjoyable experiences of the year. Super precise controls, completely different playable characters, outstanding level design and a great work on art direction, are top level elements of this great game.

Homefront: The Revolution is a generic and repetitive open world shooter with some good ideas but poor technical performance. It feels good but not optimal, and even it reflects the guerrilla feeling in a positive, way we cannot forget all the annoying technical issues.

Shadow of the Beast is a nice tribute to the classic Psygnosis game but nothing more. Even though it even has interesting combat mechanics and leaderboards, it feels short and not as deep as other similar contemporary games of the same size and genre.

After so many years, we finally have a new DOOM and it truly feels like a classic game with it's frenetic and addictive gameplay combat. Prepare to fight thousands of demons in planet Mars and hell like the old times. Fantastic accomplishment for id Sofwtare and Bethesda once again.

Simple but functional, with rich lessons and a lot of contents this new entry on Art Academy series will be an enjoyable drawing activity for Disney fans and a young audience.

The multiplayer is absolutely funny. Is plenty of characters. But the story mode and some of the heroes doesn't have the charisma that you could expect. Great ideas, but not so well developed.

Uncharted 4 works excellently as the definitive action-adventure experience and as a deep narrative-driven game. The huge attention to small details combined with the perfect adjustments to a functional gameplay formula results in a product that shows us the thirty-year experience of Naughty Dog, one of the most valuable videogame developers out there today.

The Episode 2 of this new Hitman is a great return to the game. All the gameplay possibilities that Sapienza offers are a wonderful addition and the level design is a brilliant element. Exploring this Italian town is a great experience.

Alienation is in fact a spiritual sequel to Dead Nation taking all the good action elements of the original title, but as a completely new game it makes an interesting twist as an Action RPG with a loot system and character progression that takes the best of genres like modern social shooters and classic dungeon crawlers.

Severed is a good touch game with a curious and innovative combat system that includes interesting mechanics. On the other side, Severed is a very good short game that shines on its metroidvania style and the environmental puzzles design.

Bravely Second has the same shape of its predecessor to offer us a game that in many ways is "more of the same" but fortunately is a JRPG that works very well. With a superb presentation and slight adjustments, this sequel has a better story and a flexible system that will make happy the veterans of the genre and new players as well.

Star Fox Guard is the perfect addition to the Star Fox Zero experience. Its great use of the gamepad's capabilities makes it a great tower defense game that everyone should check out.

Star Fox Zero is the first game that really exploits the capabilities of the Wii U's gamepad. Its superb controls, great music, awesome characters and breathtaking level design make it a must have to all Nintendo's fans out there. If you were expecting a sequel to the great Star Fox 64, we can tell you that the wait is over.

Dark Souls III is one of the greatest entries of this awesome franchise. Its small, but significant changes in gameplay and difficult, makes this game one of the best experience of this year.

Whether you play on earth, water or air, fighting opponents with crazy weapons, beating puzzles or just enjoying the excellent visual quality of the game, Ratchet & Clank is a real love letter to a genre and a franchise with more than a decade of tradition.

Murasaki Mist is a great example of how an indie game can turn into a terrible experience because of the poor attention the developers put into their projects when trying to add as much as possible in it. Yes, it has a great concept and creative elements that could have made of it something enjoyable. However this doesn’t help at all when all and every aspect of it has great mistakes and is not worked or developed in the way that it should be.

Basically the same game that divided the fanbase almost 4 years ago. With the additions of a GOTY version and improved visuals.

Dirt Rally is a must for rally fans with precise controls and realistic physics, one of the best contemporary games among other racing games developed by Codemasters. Even it is a difficult game, the core mechanics works well to give us an experience full of adrenaline, challenge and learning on every race.

The Nova Covert Ops is a great addition to Starcraft II. This first mission pack leaves us with a good feeling, but it is in inevitable to think that Blizzard should launch this expansion in a single product.

MLB The Show 16 is a letter of love for all baseball fans and fore those who likes sports games. Outstanding visuals, great game modes and accurate controls, makes this game a great experience.

Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo is a pretty good racing game with a lot of good ideas. If you are a fan of this sport, you should give it a try.

Madness is the best word to describe the challenges on Trackmania Turbo, a very good arcade racing game that respects the tradition and fun of a decade with the series. The Nadeo’s arcade style game is a must for all the adrenaline lovers who want a challenging time attack racing game with plenty attention to the details.
