Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road marks a triumphant return for one of Level-5's most beloved series. With excellent presentation, a robust story mode, and content for hundreds of hours of gameplay across its other modes.- Atomix

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is a great experience. HexaDrive has delivered a remake that all fans of the genre and the series can enjoy. Some changes make the experience more enjoyable, with better pacing and a more direct structure. However, it's also true that some of these decisions remove some identity from the original Dragon Quest VII. Interestingly, those entering this world for the first time might not even notice.- Atomix

Code Vein II is a title that can be considered a continuation of the original, but it also adds elements that make the gameplay more enjoyable, including revamped blood codes, a greater presence of companions, and added weapons. As a result, the combat is improved, feeling more fluid and precise.- Atomix

The DLC, in more ways than one, completely distills the Pokémon Legends: Z-A experience, offering a structure and mechanics that lack the necessary elements to be engaging. By offering more of the same without any clear purpose beyond extending the time we spend with the game, we're left with a monotonous experience where progressing is a Herculean challenge.- Atomix

Despite its flaws, Thief VR remains one of the standout games in the format that can be recommended, one that, with better polish, could have shone brighter as a worthy return of a seemingly forgotten franchise.- Atomix

If you're looking for something to pass the time, you'll definitely find it fun, as it has a considerable challenge and the mechanics are well-crafted, although not used to their full potential.- Atomix

While mobile games have clearly demonstrated their ability to deliver top-tier experiences, not all titles will translate well to consoles. In the case of Octopath Traveler 0, the game's gacha DNA is so deeply ingrained. This results in a execution that falls short of the phenomenal Octopath Traveler II, and it's likely that not all fans will be happy with the final product.- Atomix

Thanks to its intricate and well-crafted level design, intelligent implementation of new mechanics, great pacing, an interesting story that significantly expands the series' lore, spectacular technical department, and of course, great respect for what this series has always been, we can tell you that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is that long-awaited return we've been waiting for. Of course, there are the NPCs that are completely unnecessary and that, in reality, we would have liked them to take more risks, but at the end of the day, Retro Studios knew how to save this project that we're sure, on more than one occasion, was on the verge of disappearing. Switch 2 closes its first semester of life with a gold standard.- Atomix

Tribute Games has delivered a top-notch experience. While it has a few minor flaws, its strengths are undeniable, and Marvel Cosmic Invasion stands out as an experience that no Marvel or beat 'em up fan can afford to miss. This adventure clearly showcases the talent of this team and the place Earth's Mightiest Heroes hold in the industry.- Atomix

Lumines Arise is not only a beautifully presented game that borrows heavily from Tetris Effect, but it also mechanically retains what made the series consistently addictive and rewarding.- Atomix

Overall, Tales of Xillia Remastered is not just a technical update, is a celebration of a JRPG that perfectly balanced action, narrative, and emotion. It's a highly recommended experience for veterans who want to relive the story with an enhanced presentation.- Atomix

There's only one way to describe Double Dragon Revive: clunky. The combat system starts with great potential, but quickly abandons its interesting ideas. This forces the player to repeatedly press the same button combination until the credits roll. At best, this is a worthwhile experience when you don't want to think, but if you're looking for something of quality, there are more and better options available right now.- Atomix

While Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment isn't quite as visually stunning, it's still an entertaining experience, and it's likely the last time we see the world we first encountered in Breath of the Wild. I hope the Hyrule Warriors series continues in the future. There's a lot of potential here, and if Omega Force takes over the franchise, or if AAA Games Studio improves, I'm sure we'll find a quality experience that all fans of The Legend of Zelda and Warriors will appreciate.- Atomix

I don't know what the next step for the series will be. While Dragon Quest XII is inevitable, I would love to see the fourth, fifth, and sixth installments receive the same treatment. Although ports of the Nintendo DS versions are also something I'd like to see, the HD-2D format creates the perfect space to offer us unforgettable adventures that will not only please nostalgic fans but also serve as a gateway for a new generation.- Atomix

The classic Katamari formula remains intact in the new installment. Growing and consuming everything in your path is still a lot of fun, and the adventure's climax is a delight. However, nearly 50 levels were unnecessary. Bandai Namco should have streamlined things a bit and eliminated all the stages that use a rather flat and boring design. Fortunately, many of the missions use new ideas or well-executed variations on familiar concepts. It doesn't surpass the fantastic We Love Katamari, but Once Upon a Katamari is a good installment that fans shouldn't miss.- Atomix

Thanks to a spectacular gameplay system with proven ideas and well-grounded new concepts, a perfect understanding of the genres it represents, and of course, an audiovisual presentation that's truly jaw-dropping, we can say that Absolum is one of the greatest games of 2025. It arrives with a relatively low profile, despite the fact that those behind it had already proven their immense talent. Needless to say, no matter your current situation, you have to make room for Dotemu's latest release—you honestly won't regret it.- Atomix

While its shooting system is traditional, The Outer Worlds 2 shines when it comes to customization and role-playing. Obsidian has created an adventure that feels alive, adapting to your style in real time. Each confrontation has multiple approaches, and it's always interesting to find less obvious routes, all depending on your style and goals. While The Outer Worlds 2 doesn't revolutionize the genre, it does offer a first-class experience that all fans of these experiences can't afford to miss, even if the end result isn't as impressive as Avowed.- Atomix

Thanks to its very clear objectives, Ninja Gaiden 4 brings back the series in a mostly solid way. However, flaws such as poor level design, repetitive ideas, and a general fear of trying genuinely new things hold it back from being something much more significant for the medium and for this new face of PlatinumGames. Long-time fans, and likely a good number of new admirers, will find a very solid and intense hack and slash that brings out the values that the genre has always had, but precisely because it wants to stay within that very traditional line, it drags along some of the vices that had been overcome over the years.- Atomix

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is a hugely important game for the series. The game experiments with its structure and combat, and while I don't think everything we see here will be part of Generation 10, it's likely some ideas will be reworked or expanded upon in the next Legends installment. No, it's not a perfect game, but it's still a lot of fun that makes it clear that Pokémon still has enough energy to keep players engaged for years to come.- Atomix

If you're a die-hard fan of this franchise and have played the other titles in the Digimon Story series, you definitely shouldn't miss this one. There's no denying that these are two must-haves within the Mario world, but they can feel like a weak effort due to the lack of truly compelling new content. Of course, collectors won't think twice and will immediately buy the physical version; after all, many of us are loyal to Nintendo.- Atomix

If Borderlands 4 is a soft reboot, the future of the series looks very attractive. The game introduces interesting ideas and keeps all the systems that have worked in the past intact. While the open world could have been better, this is a very interesting step toward a promising future for the series.- Atomix
