Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is a highly recommended title for this Christmas season, as it will serve as an appetizer to welcome Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which looks extremely ambitious and promising, and will be one of the strong cards for when 2024 begins.

The amount of great ideas one can see in WarioWare: Move It! It's totally overwhelming. On more than one occasion I had to stop for a moment to think how someone could have come up with something as brilliantly fun as putting you in a chicken position in a micro game about filling cavities. Entering the new adventure of Wario and company is like entering a candy store on another planet where everything has color and as soon as you try it, a huge smile appears on your face because of the way it surprises you. Of course, the product is not perfect because of the way in which it could have proposed something new at a structural level, but undoubtedly, its virtues far outweigh its defects, making it another very easy game to recommend to anyone. It's crazy how many great titles can only be enjoyed on Switch.

Star Ocean: The Second Story R is much more than a visual remake of the PlayStation classic. Gemdrops reworked a lot of the gameplay system and also aded tons of quality of life improvements that resulted in a better game than the original. A 2023 surprise, no doubt.

Alan Wake II is the sequel we were waiting for. Unfortunately, it took thirteen years to find out what happened next in this story. The technological advancement is impressive, the graphics, the music, and the sound are stunning, and it couldn't have been released in a better season.

If you didn't try this game a few months ago, I think it would be the right time to do so, especially because of the portable theme that makes it a relaxing experience to take on trips and distract yourself for a while.

Who is Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 for? In general, the truth is that I have little desire to recommend spending on this package, but I think that considering that we are looking at seven games in the series that are definitely in a playable state, I think you could consider giving it a try if not you have access to them in no other way. If, on the other hand, you already have the original versions or the HD Collection, my advice is that you completely stay away from this new option, as it basically provides nothing in terms of technical or playability, while on the side of extras, I wouldn't say either. that there is a lot. We are undoubtedly facing one of the great disappointments of this 2023 that has been giving us so many good moments. Let's hope that at least this serves as a lesson for Konami to understand that it is in an industry with high quality standards in which it cannot disrespect its own legacy like this.

One of the greatest indie game of 2023. Cocoon represents perfectly the idea of a simple gameplay, with wonderful ideas. A pure elegant video game design.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is the kind of sequel that fans of this game were hoping for. It builds upon what already existed, harnessing all that was praised in the original title, and adds elements that make it a much more enriched and enhanced version.

We can only confirm that we are facing one of the best titles of the year and most likely, the best 2D Mario of all time. The Nintendo Switch shines again with a truly screaming exclusive that you simply cannot miss because of the great way in which it takes simple and already proven bases, and on them puts a huge number of innovative ideas that undoubtedly feel like the next big thing. step for the series and of course, the entrance to a new era that we hope will expand for much longer. Our favorite plumber is launching his new game and that deserves a celebration.

Insomniac Games has done it again. Although in effect, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 starts from the already very well-built base of its two predecessors, the way in which it expands things in all departments makes it a must-see game for anyone looking for a great story, amazing graphics, a polished, deep and very fun combat system, as well as an open world that, although systematic, always has something to offer to accentuate the excellent game mechanics that are being presented to us, this with a rhythm that makes letting go of control really difficult.

Fort Solis is an interactive experience that would've worked better on rails thanks to it's awful map and UI. With no enemies, consequences for failing and apparently no way to lose the "game" or die. It's a 4 hour story with no replay value floating helplessly in a space full of truly stellar games released only in 2023.

Ascendant Studios made a good first try with this game, which if you manage to dominate in combat can be entertaining for the user, especially with the amount of magic available. Of course, I would not recommend it to everyone, since some technical and repetition aspects may not be completely pleasing, especially those who do not have patience.
