PokePark 2 is, more or less, on the same footing as the Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball games. It's much more kid friendly, of course. But like DOA Extreme Beach Volleyball and Xtreme 2, PokePark 2 is all about playing nice and doing favours (or maybe even "battling") in hopes of acquiring more friends in this world devoid of humans trying to stuff unwitting creatures into Pokeballs.- Armchair Empire

The presentation, sound, and much of the story create a very lush, vibrant world that is waiting to be explored. However, the monotony of the battles, and how the story falls apart near the end make it more difficult to enjoy the game in the long run.- Armchair Empire

As much of a cool mixture of '90s nostalgia and modern gaming, it doesn't mean that the game is all the memorable. Having the entirety of Manhattan to swing around between inside missions is a technological feat, but it might have done Beenox better to make a smaller, more densely populated environment to explore and experience different story beats.- Armchair Empire

In a way, Attack on Pearl Harbor succeeds in doing what the much more lauded Battlestations Midway failed to do last year, provide an arcadish Pacific air war that’s both fun (which Battlestations is) and replayable (which Battlestations is . . . not so much). Attack at Pearl Harbor’s AI is reasonably good, if a tad predictable.- Armchair Empire

Fans of action side-scrollers will get a kick out of BKS. If there's one message everyone should gleam from de Blob 2, it's that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, or a game by its premise. All in all, Prototype 2 does a good job of creating an interesting combat engine, but falls short visually, in story-telling, and general mission design. Magnetica probably won’t gain any converts to the puzzle genre. It’s repetitive, can often be frustrating, and it’s based on a game that’s been around since 1998, however, for quick play sessions for puzzle fans, Magnetica is worth the $40US.
