While the essence of this twinstick shooter is still as interesting as it was on Xbox One in 2015 and PlayStation 4 in 2016, the technical execution leaves a lot to be desired.

With the sarcastic narrator and the test chambers it tries to emulate Portal a tad too much, but in the end there are enough original ideas to make this an interesting puzzler.

It might not be the longest game of all time, but the exploration of this very unique take on exploration adventures is worth the admission fee.

While the first hour is as im- as depressive (at times), the limitations of the mechanics slowly take over. The moral implications of each decision you make (or have to make) are clearly there and always impactful - up to the very end. But since it is always black or white with no grey areas whatsoever, the concept is reduced to trial and error.

You don’t necessarily need a Nintendo system to dive into an extensive and thoroughly entertaining monster catching experience.

It took almost two years, but finally with its Arcade Edition Street Fighter 5 is the beat-em-up you always wanted.

An interesting story based on the aftermath of the Moby Dick novel hampered by monotonous mechanics.

While the font size is a little too small for mobile demands, the core of the game of course is still the same. And that means that now also Switch users can enjoy this beautiful and challenging tactics-rpg with its excellent art design.

The concept is intriguing, but with this execution it just scratches the surface. This survival strategy relies too much on grind and not enough on storytelling.

The story gains some momentum, but even the added bargaining options within the dialogues can’t disguise that there aren’t enough puzzles.

While overall it is not as impressive as the original Life is Strange, it still is a heartfelt story of two teenagers and their pursuit of happiness.

This game is a phenomenon. Not only because of its success. But rather that this Battle Royale is so fascinating even though it has significant flaws. It is the situational suspense, the half hour of sizzling tension that makes players come back again and again.

The franchise hybrid works surprisingly well. With the integration of quite a few beloved Aperture elements (including GlaDOS, of course) the construction puzzles gain an edge. But nonetheless they could have been improved with additional challenges.

While at the time this was the best outing of Neocore’s hack&slay series, just a little while later it was overshadowed by the “Final Cut”. And while on console you’ll find solid entertainment throughout, you still wish that the “Final Cut” would have been pushed forward.

If you were looking for a Switch equivalent to Forza Motorsport or Gran Turismo I am afraid, you have to continue looking. While thankfully there are no in-app-purchases or grind mechanics, too much still is reminiscent of Gear.Club’s smartphone origins.

Dead Rising 4 was and (with all the added modes) still is just a shadow of the franchises former self. Having said that, especially the new Capcom Heroes mode embraces and emphasizes the new arcade direction and is actually quite entertaining.

While visually this is one of the best looking games out there for Sonys VR platform, mechanically this is a rather bland and uninspired shooting gallery for most of the time. Just using the well known assets is no guarantee for a dynamic shooting experience.

While the port of the episodic survival horror to Switch is well executed, their were massive technical compromises to be made - definitely more than with the predecessor.

Well executed mixture of tower defense and twinstick-action with challenging missions and chaotic destruction.
