There are some problems with the procedural world generation. And the UI lacks a sorting function for objects, while the free building is a little awkward. But nonetheless this is a huge creative sandbox somewhere between No Man’s Sky and Minecraft.

With six people in front of the sensor, the core ingredient of Just Dance, the fun, is more emphasized than ever before.

I wish I could say that this is the better Monster Hunter. But it isn’t. Where Capcom gives you depth and a meaningful daily fantasy business this is merely a collection of fast paced battles against a limited number of enemy types.

Like its PC or One siblings this is an escape simulator that is not without flaw. And it can be quite frustrating. But it also is very rewarding once you get the hang of it.

Puddle entertains as much as it frustrates. Some stages you clear at your first try, others you start 40 times or more. But if you are willing to overcome this adversity you`re rewarded with a fascinating physics-based puzzle adventure.

I like the theme. I like the narrative and I think it is an interesting approach to combine storytelling and management. It is in desperate need of variety, though.

If Legend of Grimrock is the mysterious and deadly dungeon crawler counterpart to Dark Souls, then Might & Magic X is closely related to Diablo 3: colorful, entertaining and full of loot- but almost without any sense of danger.

If you like your action-adventure with a strong dose of 90’s retro flair, this is worth a look. But the challenging jump-and-run mechanics can’t hide the fact, that the mission design is a little too old school for its own good.

Zenimax had a steep mountain to climb: They had to cater to both the expectations of fans of Offline-Tamriel as well as demands of online-mechanics. And even though the result is far from perfect and seems to lose focus here or there, I don’t regret any of the rather large amount of time I’ve spent with TESO.

Aragami is a pleasant surprise. It shows some technical deficits and it is not bug-free. But the stealth action is cleverly designed and if you can’t wait for Styx: Shards of Darkness you’ll find an interesting alternative that will keep your hunger satisfied.

I was really looking forward to High on Life 2, and the gameplay itself was solid – but the technical issues put me off. Even as a new iteration, High on Life remains one of the strangest games in video game history. Gameplay-wise, it remains solidly average.

This Ghost Recon focuses more on action and less on tactical advancement. Additionally the campaign is rarely a challenge. If you're hoping to get a continuation of the virtues of Advanced Warfighter, you will be disappointed. Technically the PC-version is way ahead of its' console counterparts, but the multiplayer doesn't offer quite as much.

The classic concept motivates, but Shin'en stays safe. With more content, more diversity and only a few fresh ideas this could have been a download gem in the early life of Wii U.

Farpoint not only looks great, especially with the aim controller, but it plays great too. But the sum of all parts unfortunately isn’t great, since the action itself, with its lack of variation and endless waves, is as generic as anything.

Retro City Rampage is not really a good game. It is nice and entertaining, but also very shallow. But it is an darn good compilation of reminders what was cool and hip in the 80s and 90, it is a declaration of love to the era of big pixels and plastic pop.

Yes, it is rather short. But Geometry Wars 3 aside I haven’t had that much fun with a twin-stick shooter in a while. Be wary of the spiking difficulty in the middle though where it moves from challenging to frustrating for a little while.

In a surprisingly emotional way A Normal Lost Phone not only is a coming-of-age tale. It manages to be informative without being obnoxious, to be authentic while being playful. A wonderfully different storytelling experience.

With Evolution's pedigree in mind this is not the racer every PS4-fan was hoping for. The challenge system provides a good amount of fun and motivation but in terms of general content, it leaves a lot to be desired.
