Once you get past the cumbersome introduction with its meager tutorials and hopefully find a helpful group to play with the constant change of being hunter and hunted is an interesting chance of pace.

After stumbling into the mythical labyrinth you feel like you’ve travelled thru time – into a PC era approximately 20 years ago. But what it lacks in realism and sheer polygon power, it delivers plenty when it comes to the mixture of stealth, horror and action.

Challenging tower defense action for up to four demon hunters that would have benefitted from a local co-op mode as well as more polishing in general.

There are some strong moments. But they are definitely not found within the visuals. Unfortunately Cyanide doesn’t manage to walk the tightrope between simulation with its energy management the team orders and the tactical components and pure arcade cycling without mechanical failures or even crashes.

At first it looks like a dream come true for oldschool gamers who grew up with Metroid, Turrican or Contra. But I fails to deliver at all ends.

LocoCycle is pure honest trash. And the best thing: Twisted Pixel is fully aware of it, takes its game very seriously and feeds it with humour. And the result is mindless fun.

While the mechanics definitely work better that in Lucius’ first killing adventure, the Devil’s son stumbles over bugs, clumsy UI and a total lack of atmosphere.

A clumsy, sluggish and uninspired horror adventure.

This is a wasted chance. While Rebellion's Aliens vs. Predator remake at least occasionally managed to deliver horror atmosphere and suspense, Colonial Marines mutates to a rather dull run-and-gun-experience, while the visuals seem older than the movie this is based on.

A sobering comeback of a once more than decent offroad franchise that doesn’t deliver the content or variety of older iterations.

While the visuals are nice and seem to push the hardware a lot of times, you can hardly say that about the mechanics or AI, which are just a tad over the common mobile game on your phone.

Thanks to the sound design Zombie Studios manage to create a nightmarish atmosphere. But in the end Daylight is no match for Slender or Outlast.

This version of the beloved board game is horrific for all the wrong reasons. There is no atmosphere, no horror, no tension, nothing.

The story is boring, the action not fast-paced enough. And in the end even the good ideas like the boss fights, the upgrades and the nonlinear dimension structure are all in vain.

Anyone on the lookout for technical problems might consider starting a list: Stuttering? Check. Tearing? Check. Pop-Ups? Check. Blurry textures? Check. Erroneous shadows? Check. Clipping? Check. Faulty collision detection? Check.

Naughty tries hard to step out of the shadow cast by his first outing, which hasn't been received well. And for the most part all mechanical changes seem to work out fine. Unfortunately you can't say that for the ridiculously stupid AI.

Arma Tactics is a catastrophe. Cover is ignored, enemies can shoot through walls and ceilings, they act like suicide commandos. Balancing is simply bad.

Unbelievable but true: The dev team from Toybox created another low point in the franchise’s history. While most Harvest Moons give you loads of interesting things to do or to discover all you’ll find here is boredom.

It is dark, gritty, scary, explicit and daring. But it also is buggy, unbalanced, sometimes outright unfair and technically not as sound as it good have been.

If you didn’t play any of the XL-games yet, this is the most complete and polished version out there. But then again it is not much more than an overpriced content patch, so you might as well be happy with the older and cheaper predecessors.

After the first 20 minutes I though “Hey this ain’t so bad.” But since the second, third or fourth 20 minutes give you exactly the same content as the first 20, I changed my mind. It is quite bad.

At its core Sanzaru Games delivers a classic jump&run. But clumsy controls and a considerably slower pace than you’re used to from other Sonic adventures make it a tedious platformer.

What the…? The original fascination we had with the franchise as a well rounded karaoke party game is gone. From all that was good almost nothing remains. I want my old SingStar back.

If you yearn for the “variety” of the Agricultural Simulator while you play Harvest Moon, something has gone wrong. Once quite entertaining this cocktail has been watered down beyond recognition. It feels like actual work – which is the wrong direction for a game.

The visuals would have been already outdated in the Dreamcast era, the gameplay is as monotonous as it can get. I don't think that Reggie Fils-Aime had this game in mind when he said that Microsoft and Sony need to react to Nintendo.

At its core this a decent tennis game, but the lack of content, the bugs and the lackluster presentation are concerning.
