This is pure fan service - nothing more. The show is better and more entertaining than the accompanying game.

Operation Raccoon City failed! Fans of Resident Evil will be just as disappointed as anyone hoping for a Left 4 Dead challenger. It is a disgrace for the franchise.

Mighty No. 9 suffers mainly from one problem: An identity crisis. Technical difficulties aside Mighty just can’t manage to step out of MegaMan’s shadow. It feels more like a solid homage than a serious contender.

Soccer management meets The Movies – while the concept seems intriguing, the execution isn’t. The mechanics are superficial and for every aspect the game introduces there is another game that does it better, the mix just doesn’t add up.

Visually dowdy, full of grind and filled with daft decisions for the couch co-op. Even if you are a hardcore-fan of the franchise, you don’t need this. Even less, if you are looking for a decent twinstick shooter.

The sci-fi design is as generic as the story. And as if this isn’t enough, the frantic action suffers from bugs and crashes.

Everything is reduced to the absolute minimum: character development, story, presentation. Luckily the tense turn-based firefights work well enough to save the game. Nonetheless you’re better off with Wasteland 2.

There are not enough building options, it lacks content in general and it is not very pretty.

The over-the-top humour still is omnipresent but the minigames lack the extra portion madness which made the former Rabbid games so special.

The tale of the immortal demon hunter is far from fresh and presented mostly uninspired, but the dismemberment concept works remarkably well, although it just scratches on the surface of its potential - a problem shared by almost every aspect of the game. And how Rebellion managed to mess up the shooting mechanics is beyond me.

I am not opposed to simple concepts, but with Pixel Gear it is too simplified. Visuals, mechanics, content: everything is just basic stuff with no depth.

Specialization of your own species, expanding your territory and fighting for victory points: This is an entertaining and true to original conversion of the board game.

An interesting 3D-platformer with a very unique style and a few good ideas. But Balan feels outdated and shows some design flaws.

While the puzzles leave a decent impression, the numerous technical problems as well as the weird changes of perspective make this a frustrating and sluggish experience.

I was looking forward to this reboot. I like simple and lightning fast arcade action on wheels. But why did the developers focus so much on trial & error? With almost each and every one of the surprisingly varied missions it is not my skills that decide the outcome, but my ability to learn the level...

Charming and true to the source: The digital Talisman is no fancy interpretation but an authentic port of the board game with all its rules.

This experience is technically outdated, too static and partially grotesquely unrealistic.

If you change the concept while relying on a franchise name, make sure that the result rocks. Here it just doesn’t. No loot, no open world, no atmosphere, no fun. But co-op fighting.

As a creative take on the "Tower Defense" principle, this "Tower Prevention" simply doesn't work out.

As a rail shooter this is not that bad – granted that you use the surprisingly well working Kinect controls. Artdesign and storytelling on the other leave a lot to be desired.

Why release a game that was mediocre at best already eleven years ago? Add to that careless port and you get a game that you neither need nor want.

An already sub-par racing game is even worse on Switch. The whole experience suffers from technical limitations of the hardware.

The premise is interesting, the visuals are good and you constantly feel the potential simmering under the surface. But overall this mystery action feels unfinished or unpolished too often for its own good.

I was really looking forward to Infinite Air with its skate-infused controls. But unfortunately the control scheme is clumsy so your boarder feels like someone who had a few too many shots before going on the slope.

I like old-school brawler. I like pixelart. But Double Dragon 4 is too old-school for its own sake. Instead of trying to stay true to its roots and modernize the concept here and then this game seems like they just changed the sprites and backgrounds from Double Dragon 2.

The combination of music and hack&slay is promising. But in the end this is just a rather dull clone of the latest Gauntlet that just scratches on the surface of its possibilities.
