Visually solid, Evil Inside fails to replicate the tense atmosphere of P.T., nor is it a good horror game with creative ideas.

This game is as dull as it is short, the mission design alternates between frustrating and uninspired. Against this even Ace Combat looks like a hardcore simulation.

As a fan of twinstick-action as well as Tarantino movies I was looking forward to Bloody Days. But while the dualstick heists are mediocre at best, as an enhancement, addition or homage to the modern cult classic this doesn’t work at all.

Sometimes it is too evident, if the game in question is a solo project like Spheroids. But nonetheless: If you like the oldie Pang! you’ll find some fun behind the technical shortcomings.

Will there ever be a good Bond game again? With Legends, new lows will be reached. A lot of potential shines through, but in the end the poor visuals, the useless stealth mechanics and the sluggish controls gain the upper hand.

This is one of the weakest shooting galleries for Sony’s VR system. Faced with technical problems throughout only the coop-option with another player shows occasional potential.

Wow. This can't be happening - Yuji Naka at his worst. Even the weaker Sonic games feel solid compared to this. Visually not appealing - no, let me rephrase that: plain ugly and "blessed" with fidgety controls, I see no reason why anybody would spend time with this.

Thankfully the shaky framerate and the meager content with focus on DLC and track recycling are not exemplary for Vita games. Ridge Racer disappoints on the new platform, although soundtrack and car handling are top notch.

The scenario could be interesting. But the bland visuals and bad design decisions drown the fun in this underwater survival horror.

I can appreciated that Wales Interactive wants to deliver more than just another endless runner. But the setting with werewolves in space sound more interesting than it really is while the mechanics are nothing more than a sequence of quick-time reactions.

The fresh start for 3D Realms has room for improvement. While the foundation is rock solid and the visuals are at least average, Interceptor lost the plot and the grip on the game somewhere.

I was really looking forward to this. But here Itagaki-San is a mere shadow of his creative former self. Devil’s Third wants a lot: It wants to be a shooter like Call of Duty while maintaining the brute force of Ninja Gaiden’s close combat and presenting a deep story. But in the end it is nothing but generic and unfortunately it fails on most levels.

The hack&slay formula is simple. But Blood Knights doesn’t deliver. That this game and Venetica come from the same dev team is hard to believe.

The concept is interesting without a doubt. Unfortunately the integrated mechanics fail to match the concept, the idealistic foundation or the conflict dynamics portrayed.

If you strip away the totally overrated and needless controversy sparked by the first trailers, you’re left with what? A mediocre twin stick shooter with nice art design and totally redundant mechanics that is not worth a second look.

The game design is as flat as the pretty ladies are curvy. A totally irrelevant collection of minigames with a hint of Tamaogotchi. But not even the boob bonus can save this beach vacation.

The curse of the license strikes again. The action reminds me of Gauntlet and actually the Guardians stay as shallow and monotonous as the retro classic. No challenge and no variety make it difficult to appreciate the colorful art design.

Kudos! It takes some effort to demolish a franchise – even if it was mediocre at best. The flight model is simple, the controls are gruesome and the visuals are as outdated as the planes you have to fly.

This is absolutely no competition for Uncharted. The fights are boring and bugs ruin the remaining fun. Which is a pity, because the vistas and solid puzzles give a glimpse of what this game could have been.

What happened to Digital Extremes? This bland shooter with Kirk and Spock looks and plays unfinished, even though some design ideas look promising. The visuals remind me of the first 360 games, the reptilian opponents’ AI is way below standards and sometimes the not much better partner AI puts me into dire straits.

It's got smurfs, all right, and they do jump and run. What it lacks is cleverly designed levels – anything from unsightly graphics to mindlessly placed platforms carries the mark of the uninspired.

How dare you to soil a classic like that. This is the epitome of in-app-pestilence. The paid content gets a grip on the gaming experience way too quickly. What once was one of Bullfrog's finest masterpieces now is nothing more than a soulless marketing product.

This may look like a playable anime, but the mechanics are miles away from Ni no Kuni or Tales of Graces . Character, quest and leveldesign are uninspired, the battles are primitive and the plot… Well, it has half naked women…
