The gameplay is straightforward and provides enough challenge to get me frustrated but equally as happy once I completed a level. Puzzle enthusiasts will definitely want to give this one a shot.

The story, awkward though it might be at times, should be plenty of reason for fans of crime dramas or tales of prison escapes to take notice of 21 Days.

The bulk of Towers & Dungeons' appeal lies in its visual splendor and fantasy setting. It's not really breaking new ground mechanically, but it does give players plenty of little tasks to do and has plenty of charm to spare. Perhaps a bit too much charm, actually.

puzzlePunch! is further proof that two great tastes really do go great together. It puts such a neat and interesting spin on both fighting games and puzzle games that fans of either genre should check it out.

While FLASHOUT 3D may not be the second coming of futuristic racers on the platform, it goes a long way towards bridging the gap between big name franchises on the consoles and mobile offerings.

It's always tough to score such retro collections because no matter how it's presented, these are 30 year old games. They're done well though and realistically. There might be a few bugs and glitches to be found, but it's still an excellent way of rounding up an important part of gaming history.

In short doses, it's quite pleasant but it lacks the longevity of the game it's so keen to ape.

Writer Rumble does something really unique with word games, and it does live online multiplayer right, by making it an integral part of the game and making it easy to find matches.

Those turned off by Dark Legends will find a brighter, happier, and better experience with Arcane Legends.

These bits and pieces keep Doodle Truck 2 feeling fresh, but it's all a little too slow burning for comfort. It's pleasing on the eye and there's fun to be had but it takes time to discover. Even then, it never really feels as exciting as it sounds.

Sky Hero will appeal to those looking to scratch the 2D endless running/falling itch, which is not a bad thing. While it's an enjoyable enough gaming experience in its own right, the title doesn't have much that's new or innovative for this already over-crowded genre.

Exceptionally good fun. It's an enjoyable re-imagining of a tried and tested formula and one that easily offers that 'one more go' factor.

Turning a five minute session into a much longer session is a tough job for any iOS game but this one manages it well.

The best part is that it's only $0.99, which is probably the best dollar gamers will spend this month and perhaps even this year.

All of these elements help make it shine, but I'd wait for an update before shelling out the cash for this two dollar title.

Players can view stats and achievements for each game, which is really nice. The app tracks many different stats and even will display the info in a chart. Word Chums has a ton of content and everything anyone could want, except a lower price, from a word game.

There are literally thousands of other App Store games that kill time about as well as Rubber Tacos does. On the bright side though, it's fun, it's free, it has personality, and it certainly could have been much worse.

It's a shame that such control and appearance difficulties arise and I had a lot of fun with Roads of Rome 3. It's an enjoyable challenging time management game but no one appreciates some of the challenge to come from the control system.

A refreshing puzzler. I wasn't sure if I would like it at first, but I enjoyed the game the more I played it due to the increasingly difficult puzzles. The impressive graphics combined with the logical gameplay make this indie title perfect for gamers of all ages and types.

Lazy Raiders is a prime example of a fun and engaging puzzle game. The tilt controls are a little awkward to use simply because they involve constantly turning the device end-over-end, but they work well enough and aren't the only option. Really, aside from the storage requirements (700+ MB!) there's little to no reason for puzzle and even ball-in-maze lovers to pass this one by.

Gamers who are fans of the show and have some patience won't mind waiting or spending a little cash, especially since it's possible to play with other preppers. Others may find the game to be a little mundane and repetitive.

Team Awesome is not perfect, but its 2.5D flying gameplay certainly does make it stand out from a sea of endless runners on the App Store.

Motley Blocks doesn't quite offer that "just one more go" factor, as it's tricky stuff at times, but it is an interesting take on a tried and tested formula. Albeit, available at a rather pricey $2.99.

Pocket Festival is not completely bad for a freemium title but it could be better. It starts off as being entertaining, but be prepared for the game to go from a rocking good time to just another builder that does little to impress.
