Being fun and addictive certainly doesn't hurt Greedy Jump's chances at success, but it's still a shame to see so much extra content sitting there just out of reach. I mean it's technically still within reach, but it requires a ton of grinding. Which I suppose isn't all bad, considering.

Air Patriots seems worth that $2.99 price as, while the controls are a little demanding, it's a fun twist on the genre. I'd prefer to pay up front for such content, though. Dishing out for a trickle of in-app purchases just feels a little disingenuous.

The constant need for coins really hampers this game and can make for long periods of waiting or the need to spend some real money.

A genuinely creative game that is all at once quick to intrigue, and hard to become attached to.

I think this game is only for a gamers with patience to handle the difficulty level in part due to the controls.

The whole experience is technically sound, but something felt lacking. It's a solid game with a pretty face, but it is missing that special element that makes some games great.

PipeLand Roll is a relaxing puzzler that's both challenging and fun. While it doesn't bring anything revolutionary to the world of pipe games, it still has enough enjoyable content for those who love this genre.

Aside from the lack of initial content, The Dragons HD is still fun to play. The graphics and animations are well-designed and look great on retina displays, and the available mini games are addicting and challenging.

Throw in the fact that it's only really a game worth playing once and, then, only for a short time, and Track the Ripper feels awfully expensive for being a neat concept.

Those who like a good old fashioned maze challenge will most certainly appreciate this puzzler. Trauma Ted is packed with plenty of content, each level presents a new challenge and it's hard not to crack a smile when teddy cat wraps his furry paws around each pill.

While it's not as fun as MotoHeroz, it's got enough interesting elements in it to be a worthy download for the curious.

Ultimately, Heads Up! Hot Dogs wanes under the weight of longer play sessions, but then, it knows that. Like the franks falling from the sky, this one's good for a few delicious bites now and then to satisfy a craving…for fun.

Diving head-first into Hellfire was a rather shocking experience, both because of the weird amalgamation of themes and the fact that they somehow manage to come together so well. I know, I probably wouldn't believe me either but it's true. A skeeball CCG. Who knew?

With the number of tracks and the challenge of getting a gold mark on each one, it's going to take players a while to get through this game. Skyriders is definitely a fun diversion with plenty of action!

Square Enix, with their occasionally lazy Final Fantasy rehashes and overpriced App Store ports, doesn't necessarily have the cleanest track record. Still, as one of the originators of the legacy of RPGs Wizardlings seeks to be a part of, they should know better. Wizardlings may be free but the time it wastes is not.

Even without the homage to pen and paper nerdery Knights of Pen and Paper is a fantastic semi-self driven RPG adventure. It's clever, charming, customizable, and virtually infinitely replayable.

Rhythmanix (or Rhythmix, as it is named in any region other than North America, the United Kingdom, Korea and Japan) is an outstanding take on rhythm and music based gaming on iOS.

iBomber Attack lives up to the quality of the rest of the iBomber family. The graphics are sharp and clean and the gameplay will keep players on their toes. Although the game is relatively short with only 24 missions, each mission can be played multiple times to be able to collect all items and complete all the objectives.

I just don't see much of a point to this re-release, really. What really justifies it, other than Miniclip thinking they could really make this a hit? Well, the distinct lack of polish kind of disproves that. But even with some fixes, it's still just kind of pointless.

So yes, Monster Warlord isn't exactly brimming with originality and features one of the most obnoxious banking systems ever conceived, but it still captures the fun of casual, incremental play quite well. That and some of the monsters (like my little tiger thing) are simply adorable.

Not very often does a newcomer impress, quite to the level that ARC Squadron has. The visual polish, overabundance of content, and addictive gameplay all meld together into a product that even Fox McCloud would be happy to have bear his name. Don't hesitate to jump into the cockpit. This is going to be one hell of a ride, that shouldn't be missed.

Beach Buggy Blitz is fantastic and one of the best of its kind on iOS. An absolute pleasure to play and play again.

Draw a Stickman: Epic is a little rough around the edges, but there's this constant sense of whimsy that acts as a constant (pardon the pun) draw. That and it's just silly fun to draw flames on various objects and then watch them burn.

Worst of all, that's the same price as Broken Sword: Director's Cut, a far superior title. For those who have already enjoyed the delights of such excellent adventure games, it might be worth delving into Reversion: The Escape. For everyone else, though, I'd suggest caution till we see more of what comes of this series.

The puzzles are varied in both variety and difficulty and simply exploring each level can be its own reward. Anyone searching for a collection of brainteasers that are a bit different from the norm should consider giving this one a look.

There's enough here to make Buddha Finger worth the asking price but it'd be a hard soul to not be a little disappointed at such early promise not quite following through.

Hopefully the planned future update that will include additional stages, levels and obstacles will also include an updated tutorial screen. For now, it's a quirky platformer that's immersive and fun.

About the only thing that bothers me about Zombiewood is the virtual sticks. Their hit boxes just feel too small. I suppose it also takes a bit to earn Special Money to use on fancier stuff, but the daily slot machine and multiplayer challenge mode (a.k.a. The Arena) are both viable ways to earn it faster. I have to admit I had my doubts, but Gameloft has really come through here and I couldn't be happier with the results.
