FreeSkate Xtreme puts a lot of small but new twists on the infinite runner formula. It could have easily wound up a big mess but instead everything clicks to make a game that, above all else, feels totally fresh.

Regardless of a few downsides, My Little Pony – Friendship is Magic is still adorable, addicting and too much fun to pass up on exploring-especially for the diehard fans. Get ready to go on a fun-filled adventure in this free-to-play and incredibly cute title.

Rhythm Rocket might be a little too simple for extended sessions but it is appealing.

Really, the novelty of Knightly Adventure is where its most enjoyable. The fact that a game that allows me to easily log in from any device that the game supports – Android support is coming soon as well – is extremely satisfying.

Combos can be accrued and enjoyed, but ultimately the challenge from Cool Pizza is attempting to traverse the 42 waves of attack. Don't expect to do it any time soon, but do enjoy the old school challenge along the way.

Last Fish may be simple on the surface, but it's hard to master. It's a clever game with a unique art style, and its addicting game play makes it worth checking out.

The frustration factor of Gear Jack took this from being a solid auto-running platformer into another game on the scrap heap for me. This is the kind of game that despairs me: it's a title with such promise, but it gets chucked away by its frustrating level design. It's a shame.

It's a fantastic realization and adaptation of his original "sketch." This is an iOS game worth talking about, and very much worth owning. I'll be buying my own copy once it's released, that's for certain.

As long as players are willing to be patient or pony up a little coin, Coaster Crazy is an exceptionally fun trip into the deepest recesses of a creative mind. The open-ended gameplay and interesting challenges will keep players guessing, long after queue lines have been opened for business. Forget free-to-play, this is a definitely-should-play.

A great quality boxing title. It demonstrates the potential of iOS devices well, although it does hammer the iPhone's battery quite significantly after extended sessions.

Max Awesome is without a doubt a worthy holder of a place on my home screen. With its zany collection of stunts, quirky graphics, amazing level builder, and customisation abilities it truly is a pleasure to play!

Throughout, Sleepwalker's Journey's charm shines through, ever brightly.

Thankfully the tough levels can still be completed with patience and the fidgety framerate doesn't break the gameplay, because Atomic Frogs is a surprising amount of fun. It also serves as a grim reminder to never, ever anger mutant amphibians.

Despite these flaws, the game does iterate on both the original Cubed Rally Racer and even on Temple Run to create something new.

Admittedly there aren't many endless falling titles on the App Store at the moment, but this game sets the bar for any others that might follow.

While there's plenty of endless runners out there, and Monster Crew's core gameplay is a lot like them, it does enough to stand on its own. Fans of the genre should check this out.

WordTag offers something not only novel, but thought provoking. If the developers continue to nourish it, I can see it living on my iPhone for a long time.

Swipe the Deck is a simple idea and one that isn't quite as "Must Play" as one would hope. What is there, though, is an enjoyable distraction for a while.

Chip Chain neatly avoids any excessive in-app purchasing problems. It's a high quality game without it. Sure, it might not be the most attractive of games to look at, but there's a heap of fun here for Match Three fans looking for something with a bit more strategy.

It sounds harsh to say but dice² might have honestly been better if it was free and had an ad or two in one of its barren pink borders. Good fundamentals are appreciated but even diversions need a little fleshing out.

Atari has succeeded in making Outlaw a far more palatable experience for iOS gamers. Unfortunately, they didn't try to do enough to help set the game apart from the crowd. The result is a forgettable shooter that doesn't achieve anything other than being unremarkable.

Those that have previously played Backflip's previous game, DragonVale, will find a great majority of the mechanics are a fair duplicate of what is found in Gizmonauts. While the slight variations certainly add to the experience, it is not enough of a change to shake the feeling of déjà vu onset by every play session.

The amount of content and additionally promised levels definitely make the $0.99 price tag worth the investment for the Pocket version. Players ready for a new casual game will find a friend in Captain Cat as they follow him and his boat catching everything he can.

Letris & Friends performs quite well. It's just unfortunate that it comes along at a time when another game does it all better, and classier.

That's the problem with Deep War. Once one level has been completed, there's no real evolution. There are no boss fights or real change in the direction of the gameplay, meaning it's not the most thrilling of games.

Plants vs. Zombies has been around for quite some time. No doubt many players have already exhausted its content. For them, Nano Ninjas delivers a good enough version of what they want.
