It's quite fun to play, if a little easy. However, there's the sense that The Adorables is just a demo, requiring money to see its true potential.

At its core, Man in a Maze is a family friendly puzzler that's well designed with smooth controls, humorous graphics and varied gameplay. Aside from adding iCade support, there wasn't anything that I didn't like about it. Whether players have a twisted sense of humor, love mazes or can't get enough game shows packed into their day, it's definitely a keeper and highly recommendable.

Nitro Chimpsis not perfect, but for a game about high-flying stunt chimps, it does the job. Ride on, radical simian. Ride on.

As one might have expected, Rockstar has gone out of their way to deliver the pristine Grand Theft Auto: Vice City experience on iOS. Not only has the classic aged immensely well, but it still manages to deliver a quality of play that is unmatched a decade later. $4.99 seems like a penance to pay to get a portable hit of open-world perfection. Don't think twice, just click download.

KnightScape might not win over fans of truly "hardcore" runners and fighters, but anyone looking for a less intense good time should enjoy themselves. Especially if they love both those things. I know I do.

Those after a challenging word game will greatly appreciate Spellwood. It doesn't hand victory over to the player by any means, especially in the early stages when there is limited equipment, but it's all the better for it.

StarTrail doesn't want to take players on some epic quest to save the world. It just wants to make them better StarTrail players.

As a precursor to games such as the Mass Effect or Dragon Age series, it's an immensely important game and one that's aged well.

SketchPhrase is a tough game to pin down simply because so much of it is dependent on the randomness of player selection and participation. When it goes well it can be incredibly goofy and fun. When it doesn't, it can be fairly boring.

The idea behind Critical Missions: SWAT is certainly solid, and a number of the features work quite well, but two of the most basic concepts (controls and maps) feel like a complete mess. With a little more work it could be an incredibly entertaining game, but at the moment it's far more frustrating than fun.

Those looking for a great asynchronous multiplayer experience will love Ghost Racer. It's a retro-style 2D racer with surprisingly realistic physics, and modern functionality.

At times, Hollywood Monsters might feel a little too zany for its own good. It lacks the polish of something like Broken Sword, but what it does offer is a traditional adventure game, warts and all.

Though the quality of the visuals cannot be questioned, the feeling of actually competing against someone else is missing. This is a fun world to play around in, but at the end of the day it isn't going to provide the adrenaline hit that racing fans so desperately need.

It's incredibly difficult not to have a good time with Bunny Cannon. It's a familiar concept, sure, but it freshens it up quite a bit with some new ideas and mechanics. More importantly, no matter how anyone sees it it's simply loads of fun to play.

If someone were to go into a playthrough of Pong World with the intention of spending no money, they could, in theory at least, play forever. Granted, it would be the same level and modes ad nauseam, but free is free. However, those looking for variety and diversity in their games should look elsewhere. At its core, this is pretty much a reconfigured Atari 2600 experience, masquerading as something new.

The graphics really pop, and the gameplay is quite addicting. Players will definitely get plenty of bang for their buck in this highly recommendable title.

Matchblocks is where I like to see puzzle games heading: it's a very different execution, and it works extremely well. Don't let the word "Match" in the title be off-putting, this is not a match–3 game and it stands on its own as a fun original concept.

I wasn't expecting Into the Dead to be an endless runner, and I certainly wasn't expecting to have as much fun with it as I have, but it is and I did. I'd recommend it as an automatic buy regardless, but the fact that it's free makes it a (I'm sorry but I have to) no-brainer.

Definitely worthy of the title of a real flight simulator for iOS. It has been well adapted for the mobile platform and the whole gaming experience feels very natural.

Sure, it may look pretty on the surface, but the luscious sheen of brilliant visuals will appear far more tarnished once the constant reminders to shell out cash kick in. Don't let this beast slay your wallet.

So, if music, solar systems, and swiping around fingers in search of little pick-me-ups can be considered an amusing distraction, Starbloom would be among the champions of the genre. It is such a pleasant experience overall that it can easily be pulled out whenever there is need of a calm moment.

A high quality shooter. There is no nonsense and it's all about making things explode. It has nice graphics and simple controls that don't require much thinking for all those casual gamers out there. Despite the repetitive gameplay, I think the game still has a lot to offer and has plenty of playable content to enjoy.

While the inclusion of a pass-and-play option is nice, it's fairly pointless when the game needs an online connection to simply start up. Still, once a game (or several) is going it can be plenty of fun. Especially earning the ticket pot after coming in first.
